Check out the film 'don't quit your daydream' great bunch of musicians with an unreal amount of talent. Very inspirational film, which gives you the reality of the music industry, and the passion that true artist share.
Thanks for the walk back in time! I'll echo the sentiments here, brilliant band, no idea how they weren't huge, especially with such a cool video as well. Nathan's vox are ridiculously good. Check the Good Listeners...Clark Stiles (co-producer of Manticore) and Nathan Khyber (Lowcraft vocalist)...Lowcraft lives on, kinda.
@mywilliam5 Your welcome! I did lighting for Lowcraft & more so for the previous band Tales Untold. I had a great time working with them, all great guys. If you scroll down a bit you will see that Nathan (Mr. LA) (& Miss.) was one of the first to comment.
Sweet Video! Brilliant band! I don't know what went wrong, but this band should have been Huge! Particularly with the Cure, DM, Chameleons UK, Interpol etc. crowd. I was lucky to catch them live in Portland. Every track on Manticore is a gem.
I worked on this band after they were signed to Disco Volante (one of our licenced labels). We went to Olympic Studios to listen to some tracks after they had finished mixing the album and I was completely overwhelmed by how great it was. They played a gig at the Water Rats in Kings Cross. It bombed.Nerves.We were all so disappointed. The video is fantastic and I still wish this band had become massive.I don't remember them relocating to the UK. Perhaps it was while they were mixing at Olympic.
They did! They were based in Oxfod (UK)! My band supported them in Newcastle upon Tyne in '99 on their UK tour promoting Manticore, their debut album! It's amazing, check it out! All the songs are as good as this! Try and get hold of their single "Fun with Flashlights" too! Really good! Im gutted they didnt get recognised for the geniuses they were!! Much better than the shite we get to hear these days!! Anyone for a Lowcraft reunion?? Will? Nathan??

I was given this CD as a promo to review for King's College music magazine in 1999. Thought it was amazing. Big shame this band never went anywhere.

Thank you dugair!
Great video...Great band...And the GREATEST song!
It is obvious the music biz has it's tiny head up it's huge arse when a band with this much talent goes unnoticed! MORE!
