Not sure, I haven't checked, but I think that those are region 1 dvds. Here in Europe, we have to wait a whole lot of time until something comes. -_-' Ah well, but at least it comes in nice cases at the end. xD

@LightFykki I have been into Anime for almost 17 years. Most of the older stuff on my shelves are from when Anime was only available on VHS tapes (or before online streaming ever existed).

I have one Region 2 DVD from the UK, which is the Professor Layton Movie (not shown in this video though). Its PAL though so I had to make a burnt copy and rein-format the copy to NTSC so I could actually watch it on my TV.

@DiGiRyuu Wow, that's quite interesting. I remember that I have been into anime since, I think my sixth year. But just recently about a year ago or so, I have started getting them on DVD, now that I found a way how to easier get them.

VHS tapes? I remember those, even some older classic animes. Not much around these days, but still nice to remember.^^

Yeah, region codes can be a pain. But still there are alternative ways. Thankfully most of them come out sooner or later in all regions.

@kakarot41 Blu-ray is still pretty new so ya, there isn't much variety. However, companies like Funimation have been rescuing older titles and there is a high chance of more blu-ray releases for them. Here is hoping. :)

Its going to be a massive pain to replace my DVDs to Blu-ray when DVDs are no longer being produced. ><
