I wondered what was up when I noticed that comments for her videos were disabled. But I understand the family thing, my main focus in life is my son and she now has two kiddles to keep after and believe me when I say that keeping after just one can keep you on your toes, let alone two. I love the HappySlip videos, though, and still watch them faithfully. And wow, I didn't know she was being paid for it.

@Happyslip I just found out that you shut your channel down already. (even your twitter account! huhu) I'm not gonna lie, this is sad news. I first found out about your channel when you sang 7.7.7. I came to see you when you visited the Philippines on your fan's day. I wish I could still view your old videos though...I'd even be glad to buy them on DVD. Since You Tube is a for profit company, it makes its own determination concerning profits and advertising. Happy Slip regardless who downloaded the videos for viewing is in fact an advertisement for subscribers to return to view what's next, just like a weekly TV series with commercials. I feel sure You Tube communicated with Happy Slip in editing its content in some manner. Two things have been made public; Christine is a professional actress and spokesperson who was compensated by You Tube.

The using of family and minor children knowingly or not in a paid production, full consent is required under the law just like if you played a role in a movie. Most You Tube subscribers and not paid to produce, film and use You Tube to publish, they do it for their own purposes and gain. The fact she was paid by the company means other people's rights may have been infringed upon as they as well or the potrayal of them violates and/or discriminates against them. Personally, I too am her fan.

@MrPowerific Money thing? hahaa no. My choice to stop making HappySlip videos is a voluntary choice so I can focus my full attention on my family. That's all. If I have more time in the future, I may post short simple videos on my 2nd channel, but I just don't have time to do full character skits anymore. A lot of people don't realize how much time it takes to create those... ;-)
