  • william shatner AKA Captain Kirk does not look comfy in that suit as much as it suits him,, it looks to tight!!

  • hey.... isnt that what happened to krusty the clown? lol jk.

  • My uncle and aunt work for Portland fire/medcu

  • lol at 6:13 I thought he said..."getting a happy" and they showed the screen and it was like a smiley face.

  • I thought alot of people thought that clowns were evil. So why are they helping each other and saveing lives. BTW I saw an episode on youtube once were kids were 2 boys were playing with a little volcano or something and they were useing a match and one of the kids caught on fire. What is the 1 called?

  • That's "Stop, Drop, and Roll" from Episode 126.

  • it was hard to watch, seeing all these clowns trying to save another clown.

  • Its good this did not happen on stage or else it would have been strange for the kids

  • When William Shatner says tonight on Rescue 911 true stories of this and that, That confuses me.

  • Next weekend is the Tigris Shrine Circus in Syracuse, NY which is where I'm from.

Definately going to see the clowns!

  • does anybody have the episode where the boy from russia gets burned baking bread on a fire???

  • Wow... old school CPR. It's been 30-2 for a long time no matter how many people are doing it on adults.

  • This happened about 10 years ago. 30-2 didn't start until early 2000s.

  • The 30:2 CPR began in 2005, when a panel of physicians decided the old way wasn't saving as many lives and thus devised a new format.

There's also Compression-only CPR, where breathing into the patient's mouth is not done.

I don't know if they teach Compression-only CPR in Community Courses. I learned it as part of continuing education for Paramedics.

  • Yeah... A long time for me is like two years. So that would make sense. :-)

  • I'm taking First Aid next semester so I'm sure I'll learn some version of CPR and I get credit for it!

  • sad story but i did love The Bozo Show growing up and Bozo was pretty kool so was Cookie.... love rescue 911...

  • omg it's the black power ranger!

  • serves em right! I HATE CLOWNS!! i cry if a clown gets to close to me.

  • Then don't watch and don't be rude. Gotta love you tubers.

  • One of lifes lessons:

NEVER NEVER EVER make a fat man who never excersies run! Have them excersie gradually and not just make em go into high gear when there not accustomed to it

  • That One Clown Talks Like Orson Bean.

  • You mean Oscar who was Tim's friend and fellow clown??

  • Yes.

  • It's already been said in previous comments, but if this happened during the performance it would have been nasty to watch.

Same with Bert, the civil war re-enactor. If he had his attack during the battle, they would have had to stop the whole battle and probably cancel it when it was in progress.

  • In regards to Bert, if it had happened DURING the reenactment, the people might not have even known he needed help!!!

  • In other words, if he had his attack during the battle, the other soldiars would think he got shot dead by another's gun as part of the show.

  • Correct, they would probably think it was part of the show & not realize anything was wrong until "recall", by which time he would have died.

  • If the clown had the Heart Attack out on the Circus Floor, they would have called off the whole circus and kids would have been Crying.

  • Thankfully and luckily that did not happen.

  • One time in Las Vegas, I went to a Pirate show at Treasure Island (AT THE MIRAGE), This One Pirate fell 65 feet and they Cancelled the show and kids were crying, and The incident took place the same time Rescue 911 got Cancelled.

  • Most of the kids might actually be cheering considering the University of Sheffield study. Clowns are scary to most children, it's a fact of life.

  • wheres the defibrillator

  • They weren't as widely distributed back then as they are now.

  • wow

  • What's with this show and Maine?

  • They didn't really do that many segments in Maine. There were only seven that I can think of, but five of those were done in Season 5. California got the most segments, and there were also a lot in Texas and Florida.

  • stupid guy ! he doesnt even know how to perform CPR . i m a first aid and trauma specialist . its a 5 to 1 ratio and the compressions must b fast like 1 ,2 , 3, 4, 5 , breath , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4, ,5 , breath . Not like --> oneeeeeeeeeee , twoooooooooooo , threeeeeeee , fouuuuuuuuuuur , fiveeeeeeee , breeeaaath . IDIOT !!

  • This was a re-enactment. They probably did it correctly in the real thing.

  • Think about modern CPR. Completely different now!

  • yeah , i agree

  • OMG Will Shatner!

  • this is one of the reasons i decided to drop weight... the heaviest i ever weighed in at was 305 pounds, even though i am 6'4" i was ready to lighten up!

  • Aren't Shrine Circus's 3 ring circus'??

The Shrine Circus I go to every April is always a 3 ring Circus..

  • I never realized this, but is the guy at :51 Oscar without his make-up and clown uniform???

I thought he was just another Shriner...

  • TOMARROW is The Tigris Shrine Circus near wear I live in Syracuse, NY!!

The shows are tomarrow at 7pm, Saturday at 10am, 2, and 7. And Sunday at 1pm and 5pm.

I definately am going to it.

It's scary to think even at the Tigris Shrine Circus which happens every April nearby where I live, this situation could happen...

  • The first weekend in April is when the Tigris Shrine Circus is.

I have never seen the Dr Acupuncture skit though!!

Is Dr Acupuncture a well known skit at a Shrine Circus..

Plenty of Shrine Clowns as well!

  • It could happen anywhere...it could have easily happened on stage (which would be downright frightening for the crowd)

  • Poor guy.

  • 6 yr old kid?!? ( faints)

  • I really love how clowns can be so joyful in times of sadness and cheer children up, however people dont appreciate them enough =P

  • Clowns are evil

  • That's really sweet that they perform for those kids. However, on a personal level, clowns creep me out. Ever since seeing "It" and seeing pictures of serial killer John Wayne Gacy performing as a clown, I'm just not a clown fan..

  • Should not be called "send in the clowns" This was a term used to have the clowns distract the crowd should someone get hurt while infront of the audiance.

  • Just blame the person who came up with the title of this segment.

  • He Has A HUGE Heart!!!!!!!

  • What a nice group of people!

  • HAHA THE CLOWN HAS A HEART ATTACK!

  • whats so funny,, their intertainers, they also donate that money to shirners burns institute,, some were docs and lawyers that intertained that day ! you asswhole! gtfu

  • Some people are so unappreciative.

  • How is a human being having a heart attack funny? People can die from heart attacks

  • Do you have the segment from this episode where a teenager falls from a treehouse and his friends give 1st aid? If so, could you put up that one?

  • i didn't see this one yet...hope i enjoy it

  • Guy @ 5:28 looks like Jeff Foxworthy!

  • You*re right...He does!

  • good observation

  • That clown must be sick

  • go to tvshowsondvd, com and vote on rescue 911 to come out on dvd, rescue 911 has 433 votes

  • When Oscar said they were joking around after the performance, he should of said they were "Clowning" around as a bad joke. So Tim was clowning around--he was serious about not feeling well.

  • Sorry- I meant to say Tim was NOT clowning around. He was serious about when he said he did not feel well.

  • This segment reminds me of the Victor Salva horror movie "Clownhouse"!

  • Is it just me, or does Shatner sound like he has a cold when he introduces this segment?

  • You're right! He does sound like hes a bid stuff't up

  • wow never seenthis 1!

  • Holy macaroni

  • As am EMT-B, new studies show that the more compressions, and the faster you get them in the greater chance of saving the person. The new rhythm for adults is 30 compressions to 2 breaths. The optimal setting is getting over 100 compressions a minute.

  • oh the irony

  • allgood - thanks so much for uploading all these rescue 911 videos :)

  • You should upload the airport traffic controller one then GoJohjimaJihad!

  • I've had a fear of clowns since I was little, watching the movie Gacy didn't help, oh and seeing the movie "IT" when I was little didn't help either, there is just something eerie about them. You can't hope that an episode like this will make some people feel sorry for clowns or be less afraid of them, they still creep me out:S

  • It's the make-up that clowns wear that makes them freaky!! We never know who is under the make-up!! Some freaky clown movies to watch are "Clownhouse", "It",

"Killer Klowns From Outer Space", Ronald McDonald!! But in this segment it shows the real guy(Tim) under the clown make-up at the end! He just seems like a giving guy who had a heart attack after a circus performance!!

  • OMG so have I. You are right about Gacy not helping too, Stephen King didnt help either with "It." The thing that freaks me right out is the circus music, I cant stand it. My kids cant understand why I cant take them to a circus.

  • The music in the movie "Clownhouse" is very weird and freaky! I love circus music because it makes me feel happy!!

  • I went on a couple of dates with a professional clown about a year ago and that was enough to put me off clowns for life. :o) But this poor old guy seems nice though.

  • Many people in real life have a fear of clowns

for many reasons--so watching this episode

where a clown has a heart attack-- may make

those fears intensified--but then again a

person afraid of a clown might learn to

respect and enjoy clowns after watching this

segment--and that clowns are indeed beneficial

    to making others feel happy!

  • Indeed the children would have been traumatized

had he had his attack while performing!! If anyone

wants to see a similar story--watch the episode

    "Circus Knights" from "Knight Rider"--a

trapeze artist fails to grip the legs of the

other lady swinging on the bar because he wipes

his sweaty forhead thus wiping off the resin, thus

he falls to his death!! And the person who caused

his fatal mishap was an evil clown!!

  • thank god he didnt have his heartattack in front of all those little children

  • I still go to Shrine Circuses!! And there

are lots of clowns!! Imagine if the Ronald

Mc Donald Clown went down for some reason..

  • also I forgot to mention the Airport Traffic controller segment.

  • Come to think of it, I have the airport traffic controller segment on VHS tape.

  • Tagline: these clowns not only know how to entertain, they save one of their own.

  • also one pregnant woman segment who was diagnosed as having Wolff parkinson white syndrome.

  • This Heart attack segment is cool because it involves a clown, Heart attack segments usually involve family members, a wife who was dispatcher whos husband had a heartattack couple of teacher segments and two firemen segments one that was a cheif and one who put out a fire in a grocery store.

  • a heart attack is a really terribie thing if can happen to anyone

  • seen on the news a few weeks ago that a 6 year had one

  • Smart Clowns
