He attributed the higher murder rate in the United States the drug war, something he says he's against. I actually think he might be right there, the drug wars in the United States did cause a sharp increase in murder rates. (If you take a quick look at the statistical data.)

Language: America has it's own version of English (which was the basis for our language). And "ain't" is still looked down on in both countries.

Yes, it critize the Russian Revolution and Totalitarien Ideals. It is one of the best books I have read so far. You should read it! It only takes about a day to read (if you set aside that day to only read though).

We have resources too, so we can make it look like it's working for a while. But, after you take all the money from the productive to give to the non-productive people for a while, everybody gets less productive. I hear some of your factories have as much as 20% of their workers absent each day?

And yes we give money to the less productive so that they can survive.

Actauly it the hospitals that are suffering form 20% absence, but that is because of lack of manpower with in the sector, making the few in the sector overworked. And hey, we might have some problems but atleast we have the highest standards of living.

We should give our unproductive a shovel and a sandwich to show them the value of labor and become productive themselves. It does no one any favors to sell themselves short.

And, I thought I read a Time article once that said it was the factories that had up to 20% of their labor force not there every day. Scheduled off, or call in. Something like the pay wasn't good after taxation, but the time off was fantastic.

On a side note, I can tell you have read Animal Farm sometime in your life, or at least the Cliff Notes. Would you be interested in reading Capitalism and Freedom, by Milton Friedman? It is not that big of a book, but it is an effort to read, I won't lie. Mr. Friedman has some interesting ideas related to the subject of world economics.
