You don't see this in wrestling anymore. this kind of skill and aggression has been replaced by stallers and guys who ride the edge of the mat so they can run when they get in trouble. I've even seen coaches at the high school level instruct there kids to call for there inhalers if they get in a bad spot. I took a job coaching middle school the next year. This is real wrestling two guys giving it there all in the middle of the mat going for take downs and pins.

Only his strength and speed are starting to drain from age, and not by much. We expect some to only look at the home run moves and techniques as the deciding factor. Machida is exceptional. For most people: High risk move=big payoff... if it doesn't work=they get worked and beat at almost every other aspect.

Even though the suplay that Foy did was a pretty sweet move (and it takes some balls to do a back suplay because if you screw up, not only do you look like a moron, but it can be rather painful), I think Randy's toughness was pretty evident-- don't think Foy wanted the match to be one second longer.
