Ok, @ comments below me:
1) Marines don't use iron sights unless their optics fail
2) Trijicon sights are great optics. A 2x2 optic is NOT going to cut it in the field where many engagements are around 500m. Especially Afghanistan.
3) What your seeing is the TA31F model.

Marines use optics more than any branch they are always under funded & if you as a grunt or us soldier use acog your sadly gonna regret it. Badass use 2x9x with top mounted 1x red dot all combat from standoff to marksmen to urban & cqb is covered
