This doesn't look like a CoH ripoff, but it doesn't look very impressive to me. It seems as if combat takes a lot of preparation for, like having to separately command each and every move of your individual units. Not to say that's bad, some people probably like that, but it looks like it's a slow game. I liked CoH's AI, how you could literally order a squad to an objective, and they did the rest, thinking for themselves, fighting off enemies, and still getting the task done.

@The5hort5tuff MoW is more of a slow tactical gameplay that focus more on realism then CoH. Its a matter of taste.

In MoW you have to command individual units and spread em out. Because Blobbing is a deadly sin in MoW. Unlike in CoH.

However there is a button in MoW. Where you can make the AI do alot of work. Advance etc, take cover by themselves.

But Micromanagment from a human player is always the best.

@jetdude101 Try every resolution until it works. I had that problem with COD 4 once. If you can't get to the options menu, open the shortcut's properties, go to target, go to the end, make a space and put "-(Insert your resolution's length) (Width)"

@L33T798 Well lets think about this if u were to be a leader of a country that was on an island would u rather have advanced fighters and battleships or advanced tanks like the Germans. If u'd have tanks over navy how in the world r u going to transport the tanks, If u dont have a good navy to protect them then how r u going to defend your homeland "your Island." And the japanese cared mostly on infantry support tanks than tank destroyers sense they care for mobility. But otherwise i agree.

Well I played the demo and the full game, COH is a good game i have it, but Men of War is amazingly more deverse and harder to play, but if your looking for a large scale battle game, MOW is a good game for you :)

no, actually they were pretty good! you see, the japenese made tank the way they needed them. they used Heavy artillery for big targets, and tanks to help the infantry. but still. they were no good match for a good sherman...?

It's all through call ins, though you do not get armor squads-just individual tanks. With direct control and actually crewing the tanks with soldiers armor combat is very satisfying.

I have World in Conflict here and it's f**** awesome, but it's not working anymore :(

I tried everything but it doesn't. So guess i'll stick to this then.

it looks really cool, you move with WASD and shoot with the mouse while combining RTS elements. Cool!

BUT IT DOESN'T beats WiC. WiC is way more intense, it has way more bombs, units, shots, deaths, etc. this game doesn't look very intense. But i'll get it anyway, looks really cool.

Nah it got already 4 factions soon 5. Thats more then most Strategy games. Not to mention each faction got a shitload of units.

Italians, austrians and free french would't work because they dont really have alot of different equiment. Not to mention they didnt really stand out in the war and would't any chance in the battle vs the real factions!

Very good game, a tad bit on the hard side even on easy. But once your accustom to the control layout, it gets easier. You have more control on each unit, and this game is more realistic than most games I have played. You will not find a better General simulator anywhere. Voice acting really stinks, but I overlook that myself. There is no skirmish mode built in, but the mod is coming. All in all a very good game for the money $29.99 on Direct 2 Drive.

You control all of them. You can have a platoon of men that are grouped, then select each one, individually. Something else you can do is have a person and go to a enemy dead soldier and take his stuff and use them. Something else you can take over enemy equipment, tanks included, even if the turret has been blown off, just using machine guns. You can also buy equipment and personnel, but only on certain missions.
