  • I need one that will wake me up.

  • @sthedwig1 now that I made ths one, you can buy them online, it tripples

  • wow thanks for sharing...too neat

  • @blalocks7 you can buy them from 3 diff companies now... they started makeing them after I made this vid

  • Absolutely outstanding. That's garage engineering at its finest.

In a related matter, God bless Harbor Freight!

  • @DaveInKilleen now theres like 3 companies out makeing this thing

  • Awesome idea man, im just now getting into hog hunting. so far i have killed six but i want to start getting into trapping more..

  • @christ121288 you can buy these lights now, a few companies started making them. I only use the traps when I have to. Ild rather hunt..

  • Cool! I'm making one when I get home!

  • @tekroby1 You can buy better ones online now.

  • is it just me or the receiver already has 3 red LED's right on top of the ones you added, so unhooking the speaker was all that needed to be done really...

BTW .. specialed309 ... buddy of mine got the hunteralert as well and he could only get it to work 60 yards or so ... we messed with it for a while, but the range was really limitted.... much less than my system....

keep up the good hog hunting guys!! i'm going tonight!

  • @standbackitsgonnablo This one only works to about 50... the 3 leds just arent bright enough, and at this point in time, they have burned out.

  • Awesome

  • i wussed out and went corporate. I got the Hunter Alert System and it worked great. Now I just gotta convince the piggies to hang out!!! They've been sketchy this spring!

  • @SpecialEd309 Mine are in and out too, they were there Friday on cam, Saturday and they are gone!

  • another reason I am calling you DIYHoghunter hahahaha... great job. I may have to try this out!

  • @SpecialEd309 works great!!!

  • I'm headed to Harbor Freight right after work! Thnx big time.

  • @SBXTDon You can see it work in Hill Coutry Hog Hunting 3... no hogs yet, but it works. Oh, it doesnt have very good distance to it. Maybe 30 yds. I just set it all at the feeder. Shine the light back at you...

  • @dnahoghunter Yeah exactly. if nothing else its something to alert you that "somthing" is there, then you can just click on the hog light to check it out and take it out if its a hog.

    very good alert system.

  • market and sell. sure you might make a few dollars from this. keep you in the woods more.

  • @whiteindianone Yeah it would! No $ to market it!

  • That's pretty cool! How much was that alert system?

I made a light from Malibu rechargeable lights and solar panel. They lasted about a year. But when new, it stayed on well past 01:00.

  • @Labyrnthdom About $20. It doesnt have good range tho. Gotta set it close to the feeder and shine back at you...

  • That's brilliant, kipkay would approve: youtube.com/user/kipkay

An IR or vibrator version would be nice..

  • @iamtheomega I dont even compare to him!

  • great idea dna, you should make one and patten it (or do they have them alreadt?) have you got a hog with it yet?

  • @MrPoonasty No hogs yet, I dont think they make them.

  • cool, hope you get one nice work!!

  • @hoghunter207 Thanks!!!

  • dang, that's pretty cool darak! i like it!

  • @fracwilt Thanks Craig! Make you one!

  • that is sick! great idea. whats the range on that?

  • @vex270 60-100yds

  • @dnahoghunter

60 - 100 on the sensors view or you can have that much distance between the sensor and the reciever?

  • @vex270 That much distance between sensor and reciever. You can see that light from over 100 yds away.

  • hell yeah Darak!!! thats an awesome idea!!! great how to!

    james

  • @BOHEMIANHUNTINGCLUB Thanks James!

  • WOW thats creative, nice job there Darak, I remember that alarm, glad you did something about the loud noise it makes

  • @neo19209 Whats up Arron? Yeah, this will be better! I cant wait to try it out!

  • mcGuyver strikes again. ha ha. hope you get your hog soon before frustration gets to you and might set you off to fabricating a road side IED for hogs. ha ha. just playing with you man but really, I get a kick watching your vids. must be nice to hunt at night , here in our state its illegal. lol

  • @2xtrmshot I like the night hunting best, glad they allow it here. I dont get frustrated over hogs... thats hunting!

  • That is cool D!!! What type of range do you get with that setup?

  • @hogdude1234 suposed to go out past 100yds, but its good to around 60 depending on terain

  • wow where do you live to have wild hogs if I had that problem there would be some dead hogs for me to eat!!!

  • @ncrdisabled Texas!!! But theres hogs all over the states, world for that matter, they can't be stopped!!! I've still some ribs in teh freezer from doggin them.

  • @ncrdisabled texas bro

  • @420JohnnieBoi Where abouts? LOL, Texas is so full of hogs...

  • @dnahoghunter i live in SouthWest TX well i actually live in SouthEast NM in Hobbs ITS right nxt to the TX border but i only live an hour n half away from Lubbock,TX and Midland and Odessa Tx ever heard of them? there kinda of by AbileneTX

  • You just opened up a whole new can of worms!!I'm lovin that idea, theres a Harbor Freight 15 miles from my place,i will be there tomorrow. Thnx D!

  • @honda8354 you're welcome!!!

  • Hurry, get your patent #. You have a very creative mind!

  • @TXBucksnort I told the wife that. No $ for it. I have a few things Ild like to market.

  • You are the Tim Taylor of hog hunting bro!

  • @CDNBadass LOL, if only I could get a hog!

  • DNAhoghunter AKA Macgyver.

Give him some bubble gum, a shoelace and a Swiss army knife and he'll get you a hog! lol

  • @MrSchwach Tie the knife to the string, set it in the ground blade up, bubble gum on top, when the hog goes for it yank that string HARD!!! Dead hog...

  • you have always new ideas to do , nice , i think its works , if you were not sleeping then it is better to use the alarm lol, good work D

  • @zuhairzq I never sleep on stand brother! Just snooze til I hear the corn snappin. Those little ones in the last vid I heard that way in high winds with bad ears.

  • cool good idea man

  • @1995bassfisher Thanks!

  • DNA goes Kipkay..... Great idea

  • @texaswildhunter Im not as good as him!!! LMAO!

  • Nice! Great idea!!

  • @AntiHuntersLoveMe Thanks!

  • i made the same rig some years ago,it was on sale for $19 when i bought it,i put the vibrator assembly fromt and old cell phone insted of the flashlight thou, works good!!!

  • @jfgb1979 Thats a great idea too! Ive had this one for awhile... just didnt like the alarm. Range isnt good enough for vibrate at 100yds, at least this one isnt.

  • thats a heck of an idea.

  • @1tamtom Thank you!

  • Man you've got me thinking now, great, no fantastic idea, bet its bright enough to shoot under to

  • @deepfriedking I bet you could use it for shooting... I plan to set it so it will shine back at me. Have the varment light to shoot by. I'll bring it along this weekend.

  • Awesome job I never heard of this I'm gonna get one for my folks their drive way is about an 1/8 of a mile wonder how far they work great video -Jason

  • @2024JayZ right around 100yds. Maybe more depending on the terrain

  • That is freaking awesome Derrick damn good idea, its wireless right? what's the range you can have them apart?

  • @TieOneOnFishingProd Yes wireless. Suposed to go 100 yds. I think it goes about 60yds. Gonna put it 1/2 way and shine it back at the truck/blind. Sensor at the feeder.

  • Great custom device. Perfect silent alert to get ready for your shot. This will save the battery charge on a spot since your won't have to randomly spot when you think you hear something. The high setting would prob be ok since it's only motion activated. Nice, nice, nice!

  • @ElGrandeDawg Great comment! I'm gonna aim it back at me, not at the hogs so It will alert me and not them, gotta have time to get the cam on and such.

  • Oh Hell Yeah, now you talking. I might just make something like that except for wild horses at night. Then I know if there near my trap or not at night.

  • @sadiengo Theres still wild horses around? That would be awesome! Do you trap them and break them or what? And WHERE???
