@redd7188 memphis got Al after high school.the talent was raised in GR Mich and everybody moves on to better pastures.as a matter of fact Al came back to GR in the 73-74 time frame.he performed at the Limelite.the mayor of GR gave him the key to the city and if memory serves,he rejected it and left abruptly.stating in a press conference that he was treated very poorly when he lived there.i didn't check all these statements but heard most first hand.hope this explains.
