How do i locate a virus? i don't think its as easy as look i my documents for a file named "VIRUS PLEASE DON'T DELETE ME." o and i ran a scan software and said something about Trojan.adh?

Yeah I tried malwarebytes but I have worms that I can only delete manually. I had 14 worms and now I have 3... but the last three say they cant be deleted because they are being used by another program.

Oh and this vid helped me delete those 11 other worms so thanks A LOT, this is really helpful.

Well what you can do is execute "msconfig", and in the startup tab, untick EVERYTHING, then, reboot, and you should be able to delete it. If not, then download the useful tool named "Unlocker Assistant".

I downloade a song from Limewire, and when i tried to play it, it opened Windows Media Player and another window(not internet browser) popped up and it contained alot of porn, a link or something. Im really afraid that I might have a virus or something now.

i went to a site and the same thing happen. i got lots of pop up but w/o the porn. surprisingly my pc was still fast, but it kept saying i had a virus.

if your anti virus doesn't remove it try Unlocker Assistance. it worked for me in like one minute. my virus wouldn't let me delete it, so i had to manually unlock with Unlocker Assistance. it's faster than doing this process in the video.

When you cannot delete it, it means it has an opened process, so open the task manager, go to the process tab, and check for the name of the virus, or anything you don't know. If you want, you can delete everything which is labelled your computer name, and NOT system.

So go ahead, delete everything or almost from your computer name in the process tab from task manager and you should be able to delete it, or else, it's a hidden process. If this is it, I don't know what to do.

Or, it is in "Read Only", so right click > properties > uncheck the "Read Only" box if it's checked (if it isn't don't check it) and try to delete it again.

It is impossible. A virus can NOT take 40G.

Program files does take many space, it is normal, all your applications are in this folder.

Well either you didn't turn on the option to show hidden files, you can do this in the file options on the bar on the top of your screen, or the virus is just hidden, you will be able to see it through a file manager (i.e. 7-zip)

Configuration panel > Folder options > view > scroll down a bit and find Show hidden files and folders, tick it.

Also 7-zip is a file manager. Many features comes with it and its free. google it
