@darussianman -- Yes, you are right, sitting on your phone and ass dialing your door can be very dangerous if it happens at the exact moment and on the same day when a burglar is waiting at your front door, not knowing which lock pick to use. This device is not for ass dialers, definitely!
The unit detects caller ID and decides whether it opens or not. The call is not answered so there is no charge. It just rings once and it disconnects. You get a "caller unavailable" msg from carrier, but it activates the relay. It also has inputs (to monitor sensors, works as an alarm which reports to your cell phone) and other outputs (easy to connect more relays. However additional relays are controlled via SMS (may be a charge depending on your plan).
