A cheap dollar is good for export. But of course that can increase inflation to an unhealthy degree because the internal amount of goods is reduced while the amount of money is increased.

But pushing the export is a good concept of overcomming the crisis...at least it worked well in some Euro-countries, but then again, things are a bit different over there.
