The reason why gasoline will never get cheaper is from the growth of industrialization.

The supply will never increase significantly, because oil companies have already drilled many test wells to find out where the oil is.

The profits of Oil companies has been out of sync and very high recently because the value on Wall street got higher from panic after it hit $100 a barrel.

I can't see why the oil companies can keep changing the price so often in relation to the demand. What gives them that right ? If I told my customers that there is more demand for my work now and I will put my prices up, I would not have many customers left because they would not know what I am charging from one day to the next! When will these fuel prices stop rising ?

Actually oil companies no longer have as much influence in oil prices. Independent investors doing online commodity trading are influencing the prices on speculation. Oil companies have a part in it but not as much as they used to.

Sounds like you got it pretty cheap over there in the USA my freinds. In the UK petrol (or gas as you call it) is now £1.20 per litre and diesel is much the same price.

If I convert that for you, thats about £5.40 per gallon (not sure of the $US - £UK exchange rate at the moment) but it could mean about $10 a gallon in the UK. It is slightly cheaper (£0.97 per litre)where I live on some islands as our government don't put on as much tax as the UK.
