I dont know im hardcore max user, but this modo is really decent and fair priced software.

Does itsuports any particle systems?

yah... It also allows sculpting. I like modo. I also use max and c4d and mudbox.

there are mo particle systems but u can import particles from a variety of different programs (Blender, maya, 3ds max, etc.)
