  • WOW !!!! THIS IS A GNARLY SONG PAUL.... A SONG RIGHT OUT OF THE 70'S .... WAY BETTER STUFF THAN ANY METAL CRAP I'VE EVER HEARD !!!!

  • A bit of Edgar Winter influence I hear, hmmm?

  • @ndoroutlets wow i would have never noticed that but now it's quite apparent. awesome.

  • This album has flat production and dull drum parts. It's a good thing Gilbert's on it.

  • I hate this song!! I always skip it when listening to the cd.

Makes you imagine some dumbasses trashing the neighborhood...

  • @Re1Mu2R3 LMAO

  • @Re1Mu2R3 No it makes YOU imagine, don't round other people into your ignorance

  • @D3STRUCT0L0LZ

Fuck cares! This song sucks and the intro sounds like Bultaco Saturno (which is a much better song) so go listen to that instead...

  • @Re1Mu2R3

Hmmm, kay didn't think would get so butt hurt over a comment on how I don't agree with you, that's sad

  • @Re1Mu2R3

Oh and the WHOLE album is pretty great soooo...

  • Ahhhhhhh I would not say they are equal or better but...... some on the list are close and great.

  • AHHHHH Paul is so good its kinda frustrating not being able to play like him

  • Is it possible to get any better than Paul Gilbert?????????????

  • @action1ist

    of course there are many

  • @clkvlk That's a lie if I ever heard one.

  • @action1ist

shawn lane, kiko loureiro, guthrie govan, john petrucci (not better, but equally as good), and buckethead, but it ends there.

  • Paul always makes great funky rock songs.

  • The beggining sounds like slowed down bultaco saturno

  • always i listen to this song, i can imagine a guy with a blackpower and high heels, just like in 70's

  • I used to listen to other guitar players, but why?

  • this is like a zeppelin groove on steroids

  • the 2nd coming of god really has happened. but he decided to pick up a guitar and change his name to paul

  • funky rock dude!

  • oh yeah that's the stuff

  • on my itunes its called bornx 1971

  • 's like Joe Satriani's Diddle-Y-A-Doo-Dat..

    'cept better :)

  • heavy metal funk, only paul gilbert could ever figure out how to make that work

  • La guitarra de la fotos es un modelo que diseñó Paul Gilbert para Ibanez, bautizado por un "fan"como Fireman.. -Ibanez Paul Gilbert Fireman-. -salud !!-

  • I wonder if I should give up guitar now...since I'll never be able to reach PG's utterly amazing level...

  • I just don't understand that!! Never give up!!

  • Ya buddy, just keep at it! PG's had a massive head start on most of us (like since he was 7 or something). Seriously, listening to him has solidified my determination to someday go to GIT just like he did. I've already improved by leaps and bounds over the last two years alone thanks to PG's inspiration. Hang in there, it just takes time and discipline :)

  • true dude, it can be hard sometimes, especially if your trying to play fast. You're going to want to play fast right away though it is important that you focus on clarity, technique and articulation of the individual notes. This way when you play fast it will sound like Paul does! If you don't it will be all scrappy, and there is plenty of examples of that already.

  • Paul had to force himself to play for the first year, and even then his technique was so bad until after the second year that he couldn't even play Barracuda by Heart.

  • yeah, and he also used to only pick up (WTF lol). He told everyone at the Canberra clinic.

  • but at that time he was 9 years old or so...

enough time to get everything right.

    I have started with 17...

I don´t know if I can get to such a level as Gilbert an Becker are/were

  • The only way is to quit your day job.

  • well, seriously

I think if you play with passion and practice a lot you can achive it in 10-12 years or so.

there is no need to quit your day job^^

    guitar is a great thing:)

  • @Jeahbuddy Your right but they key word is passion. Just playing some times a weak wont ghet u there.

  • @Jeahbuddy sure you can dude! youre the only thing that can stop you!

  • don't give up, there's more to guitar than speed, no disrespect to paul but if he was half as interesting a rthym player as he is a lead, he'd be bigger than mj

  • Paul is a great rIthym player mate. His lead is very rthymical and you can only achive that if you know how to rthym properly. LIsten more Paul's stuff such the Hendrix tribute! You will change your mind..I know;-)

  • its just cause PG isnt a dumb sellout. anyway most of his fans are musiciens, you have to play an instrument to understand how paul is awsome.

  • Yes, Yes you do!

  • I believe you can still totally appreciate Pauls awesome music! Saw him live at NGW!

  • Its sad that this hasnt even reached the billboard 40, it shows how fucked up is the musical industry with commercial acts.

  • Amen to that...

  • In facts, he reached no1 with Mr. Big :)

  • @Carlo754 Nice one, Carlo

  • @Carlo754

    It's better this way man.

Musicians that quickly rise to fame rarely stay long enough for anyone to remember them years down the line. Let's leave all of that nonsense to the pretenders - meanwhile Gilbert is a multi genre encompassing talent who's played in a smattering of successful bands, toured with G3, written over half a dozen solo albums and has a worldwide fan base who send him angry e-mails to make him reform Racer X.

    He's the guitar player's inspiration.

  • Budapest - 12. oct. 2008

Probably I will be screaming my lungs out when Paul's gonna play this one. :D

  • I saw PG at NGW and he was awesome! He played this song and it captivated me. So good!

  • haha dude i saw him at NGW too. just the other day? haha wasnt he such a good guitarist? it was fuckin amazing! and he was funny too and shit.

but you went to NGW too?

  • Yea CT Week 1. I took Better of Shred. Yea i was in the front row when he played which was nice.

  • SUBLIME PIECE! Makes me feel great! That opening riff is a real killer! Ace man, Ace.

    PG HAS GOT MY NUMBER!

  • i dont want to listen to gilbert anymore,he is so good it pisses me off

  • ha ha ha, true

  • @idonthaveaname2 haha really? thats how I feel with Satriani but Paul just makes me wanna play hes awesome that way xD

  • @idonthaveaname2 I felt the same way when I first heard Dave Weckl

  • 1:55 and the rest of the fast part is awesome

  • uuh, back to golden era!

    very cool!!!

  • all the songs on this album are so good.

Sadly I have no chance to get it in Belgium

  • my second fav song on the album besides SFBADR.

    And first post ftw!

  • Take your victories where you can get them haha
