  • Nice layout. I'm 13 years old and I own a lionel, and I try to tell my friends in school about it and everyone says whats that? My grandparents wer telling me that alot of kids used to be into stuff like this like I am. Now everyone is into ipods and laptops. It's nice to see that people still like trains like I do.. Great job.

  • How much was that

  • They are all 0-gauge trains and accessories. Thank you I,m glad you liked it

  • i'm curious, are those O-gauge (O-27 or O-32)? i like how they look with the buildings, not too small, not too big.

  • looks awesome!

  • wow now this is a layout, great for Christmas me and my father used to have a layout up but we had to take it down because we needed more space in the garage for other things :( but we still keep the trains and put a different one around the Christmas tree every year but we plan to put ours back up in this spring =) Great layout again 5/5

  • @Shadowtails58 Thank you very much

  • This.....doesn't look cheap....

    But still awesome :o

  • @BestfanX Your right its not cheap, but like any hobby, what is?

  • @trainguy54

You make a very excellent point there o=

  • I got a WWII fighter over my layout too! lol

  • WOW!

  • @FloridaSalon Thank you

  • how tall were the legs on the table im making a christmas layout for nephew and if you wouldnt mind im using parts of your ideas for your layout i love it by the way

  • @lionelnut69 The layout is 34.5 inches high which is a pretty good

height for all concerned. I actually have wooden crates under the table for

support. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • Very nice layout, but in the next video go a little slower :) It's hard to see everything with the camera going so fast. :)

  • @volvotn Glad you enjoyed it. I will try to go slower this time.

    Thank you.

  • People are skiing! Beautiful! Great job!

  • @Youngblood1223 Thank you very much.

  • WOW THIS IS GREAT

  • @MrFL303 Thank you

  • this is fantastic. Your O scale layout is the first one I have ever seen that I thought really really looked nice and worked well. I never thought about using Christmas village stuff for buildings. I saw a few pieces that I have of my dads. Esp the orange motor car. How large is the layout board? Thanks for posting.

  • @nazarethwoodshop Thank you for your kind words, the layout is 13.5 x 12.5

Christmas buildings really enhance the layout. Thanks

  • um wow!

  • Super nice job. Although that van looks a bit out of scale. :)

  • Thank you. It is but I liked how it looked

  • what gauge is this train set?

  • These are all O gauge trains.

  • awesome!

  • Thank you very much. Glad you

enjoyed it. This years version will be on

    you tube this weekend.

  • WOW what a lay out! I have been working on mine for @3 years now and it doesn't look like I have done anything. The work to do that layout must be tremendous . NICE JOB

  • Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.

3 years! How big is your layout?

  • Great layout! ahhh....that's sad, there's no room inside for a beautiful layout like this one....

  • thank you. I am working on plans for

a train room in the future to have a

    permanent layout.

  • Nice setup.....But check out this new 2009 WORLD PREMIER VIDEO on youtube, search for : ( diorama by jonathan ) ...see what you think.......ENJOY THE HELICOPTER RIDE...............

  • how laong did it take you to do the snow?

  • It probably took me about 5 or 6 hours

to get it all spread out.

  • That was bueatiful! I thought it was a real train scene at first.

You do much better than me. I only have a big forty niner. steam train

  • thank you, I am an amateur who is really

just getting back into my trains after a long

    'adsence

  • I had a Lionel back in the 50s and 60s. *ft x 8ft table in a overlapping figure 8. Part was on trestles going over the track and back down again.

I like Lionel as you could operate things to load and unload cars and not just leave them as in HO.

  • I agree I am really partial to Lionel but I just purchased my 2nd MTH engine and

I really find the combination of the two

    enjoyable

  • One question what did you use for snow and where can I buy it?

  • I used cotton snow. you can buy it in bags

    at K-Mart or Wallmart.

  • Looks like a whole lotta fun ! ! ! Makes you wanna say, "Merry Christmas" (only four months to go :-)

  • Thank you. It is a lot of fun. Getting

ready to do another layout for this year.

    Thanks

  • thats a Christmas layout !!

  • Thank you very much. Glad you

    enjoyed it.

  • Very nice! Can I ask where you got the cable car set?

  • Thank you. I bought the Cable car at

Dollhouises Trains & More in Novato CA.

They carry Lionel & MTH products.

  • What a fantastic job. Did I see some Super O in there? NICE

  • Thank you.

    I would like to incorporate

much more Super O on my next layout

that I will start in August. I am a big fan of

    Super O.

  • Wow the layout is impressive, the track plans is very complicated. Love the artowrk and detailed.

  • do you have the track plan?

  • there is not really a plan it was just trial

and error and things sort of fell into place.

  • thats cool how much would sumthing like that cost me ??
