Teach your kid about what these drugs actually do to your brain and body, teach them about dopamine and your brain, meth actually just does an extreme of what a lot of other things do so teach him about that as well. You might not try other drugs on it, but other people will. You're probably a good example on how it's not very damaging, but Im sure it affected someone negatively

Bro there has been ZERO RECORDED DEATHS in history caused by the direct use of marijuana. People have been using it for THOUSANDS OF YEARS. The gateway drug theory has been completely DISPROVED.
People have died because of their own stupidity while using marijuana, like while driving, but not from the direct use of the plant.
Google it. "Has any one ever died from weed".

@alex19330 and also may I point out that the average person will not explore dangerous drugs, only the stupid ones that don't care about their life. anything can be a gateway drug, weed doesnt make you try coke or heroin, those are dumb choices. that's like saying people who drink will eventually snort cocain.

You cannot overdose, it does not affect your brain while not on the drug and it only does minimal damage to the lungs if you use it in it's most simple forms. If you don't get why we're laughing at it, look up the word "bathos" in a good dictionary.
