Simian was the name of the former band. When Simian split up, two of the members formed Simian Mobile Disco, which is more eletronic music oriented than Simian.

Akshulay, Simian began with Simon Lord. :) He's the dude spinning in the middle.
Simian broke up, and the other artists then formed Simian Mobile Disco. Simon Lord is with Theo Keating in The Black Ghosts.
