The siberian tiger is longer for sure though. Stacked them close together and you will see that they have the same skull size and see each other eye to eye
@KINGARTHUR3341 i got these facts from the national geographic website. and i would always put my money on a tiger because of the weight advantage. 100 kg is a big difference. i love lions more than any other cats, but i believe that an adult male sibirean tiger would kill an adult male lion if they would ever get into a territorial fight. you can also watch that chinese tiger park where they keep tigers and lions and you will see how big some of those male tigers are.

They have to be mindful not only for your safety in the park but for the animals as well. Male bengal tigers and male african lions weigh about 420 pounds on average ( scientific fact ). Even if the tiger had an weight advantage it would still likely lose in a fight against a lion due to the fact that lions are way better and more experienced fighters than tigers.

I live right behind where these lions are at LCS and we hear them roaring like this every day. It's pretty wild! We can't see them because there are tree's but to hear the lions roaring from your house is pretty nuts.I think it's sad to see lions in captivity like this.
why is it sad to see lions in this captive setting? They have a pride order, a territory, a lot of enrichments every day and lots of room to roam around. Its as close as they can get to living in the wild themselves. They are getting old too... if they were living in the wild another pride of lions would have kicked them out of their territory and would have starved to death or worse, attacked by hyenas or other lions for food. Instead, they are living a very comfortable (and long) life!
@seevert7225 Excuse me but do you think just about all lions die young in the wild? They seldom live up to 16 years in the wild especially male lions. They tend to have longer life spans in captivity because there are no diseases, droughts, or rival predators to kill them. Sometimes leopards tend to live longer than lions in the wild and they are smaller cats. Tell me what you think.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe they were ganging on one lone female lion and the person in the car was trying to stop them from attacking her.
