(Please: who is the owner of this plane ? christian.pley@orange.fr
Amazing ! It sounds almost a real one; laughing out myself at 5.44. A camera on board is just missing (sure, will be done next time !). Very, very good job !!!
I don´t think that its a JG54 one....the yellow ring at the cowl looks like SG4 (schlachtgeschwader 4), but i don´t know the name of the pilot either...
Man! How cool!! seeing this makes me want to take up this Hobby! I am sure it takes a few years flying and a few dollars to get to this point, to be able to fly a bird like that! ........Cheers!!!!
That almost sounds like the real thing, but one question. If you spend all of the money on a realistic sounding engine, why go with a 2 blade prop? Do they made a 3 blader that would work for this? I know that the 190 prop is very unique, but someone has got to make one for this.
i am no piolet but i could be that if you install a two bladed prop correctly you could have the engine stop and the blade out of the way of the ground. Now if you cant get your GEAR down you stop the engine or run out of fuel and glide in belly up and if the prop is out of the way you really reduce damage. that cant be done with a three or four bladed prop. i am the master of bullshit but really
luuko656: It´s hard to tell from the video but I would say it is the 250cc. I own one of them. The sound differs slightly from the 215cc, but it is nearly impossible to hear it in the video. And also, what texasfathead wrote is incorrect. The hungarian company who makes these wonderful engines is called MOKI MOTOREN. Please trust me on this, I´ve dealt alot with this company in the past and present. Hope that I have been of some assistance!
You could fly this over someone's house and they'd say it's the real thing! It's very nice and i just love that sound both idling and in flight. Really nice!
Im just joking, because of all the people that say anything German is superior. as far a Germany goes I am a big fan of the Luftwaffe and spent alot of time talking to a man the piloted both FW190's and Me262's during ww2.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow

hm didnt we fight them off in the battle of britain and without air or sea superiority they were unable to effect a landing on britain? and did you wait til as late possible in both wars...?
the kill ration of a plane refers to how many enemy planes that specific type of aircraft has shot down compared to how many of its own kind that have been shot down
I dont know if this has been asked before but whats the max flight time and control range of one of these? The big gas powed bf109 has been calling me for some time but i would like to get an idea of there max control range and flight time before hand.
If you have to aks that question, take it from me, there's mo way you'll be able to pilot the aircraft. There's very little stability in flight, it stalls very easily, and goes way too fast for a beginner.

dude, do you want to loose your fingers. please keem them clear of the prop. a starter is worth the money. no one wants to see you get hurt. nice model though.
Can't use a starter for that big engine. You'll get the whole arm twisted in a second once the starter is running. Flipping the prop with your hand (or a stick) is the best way.
Saudações "From Brazil"
oh oh oh its extremly dangerous to Start such a big Engine by Hand. It´s no Problem for it to cut off an Hand. I´m using an Electric starter everytime.
The motor is a RCS 5cyl 150cc 215cc 250cc and 400cc, moki buys them from RCS and resales them as mokis. hope that helps.the motor in this FW-190 is a 250cc.

Your Focke Wulf is really great. Super sound. Which is the company that makes this great radial engine?
This engine seems to be at least 400cc......
The real one was flown with Jagdgeschwader 54, that's for sure. Too bad I don't remember the Gruppe and the pilot's name....

funny when people comment about the proper way to start a 5cyl radial engine, and HAVE NO EXPERIENCE what so ever with them!....
LOL

dude, do you want to loose your fingers. please keem them clear of the prop. a starter is worth the money. no one wants to see you get hurt. nice model though.
brittons06 3 years ago
Can't use a starter for that big engine. You'll get the whole arm twisted in a second once the starter is running. Flipping the prop with your hand (or a stick) is the best way.
brauer42 3 years ago
damn! fingers are expensive to replace, about $100,000 per digit.
arfracer 3 years ago
Gees, dude, you can buy an electric
starter for like 30 bucks. Then your
arm won't be sore the next day.

Saudações "From Brazil"

Why did you have such a hard time starting this one?
kochj0713 4 years ago
I wished my planes sounded that realistic.
I would be able to match you on speed, but that sound! Oh my God! Incredible.
Very nice 190. Congrats.

Very authentic paint job, including swastika.

oh oh oh its extremly dangerous to Start such a big Engine by Hand. It´s no Problem for it to cut off an Hand. I´m using an Electric starter everytime.
Olli120 4 years ago
Starting by hand is the norm for large petrol engines. Starters are fine for smaller glow engines but not for something this big.

Absoluter Gänsehaut-Sound von einem super gebauten Modell !!!
gigxer 4 years ago 3
Yes, indeed it would be nice to know the Brand of the motor, the sound is too good! Kann jemand eine Antwort geben? OS, Saito oder Moki? Danke
cedcad 4 years ago
The motor is a RCS 5cyl 150cc 215cc 250cc and 400cc, moki buys them from RCS and resales them as mokis. hope that helps.the motor in this FW-190 is a 250cc.
