  • Okay, you guys really need to quit arguing. Arguing over the internet is one of the most pointless things I've seen in my life. XD

  • poor children, arguing over a song from a child with cuss words at that, *sigh* crazy world we live in. Anyways thanks for this

  • How the...Why are you arguing? It's a CHILD singing. Quit your bitchin'.

  • @SonicTheRainboom thank you

  • Comment removed

  • 1. I love this song and I don't care, which church composed it, as long as it's christian.

    2. Why do family members aka christians have to argue about which definition is more true instead of caring about more important topics?

    3. If god would've wanted homosexuality, he had put more than two people in paradise, so that there would've been apossibility to choose the partner. Well, as you see, he didn't do it for a reason.

  • @commentor93 If God didn't want their to be homosexuality, he wouldn't have made genetically born homosexuals.

  • A good philosophical reply would be a song to say how they know heavenly father hears your prayer and it isn't just in your own human psychology. The LDS church is pathetically messed up because they instill from a young age not to ask why but to just to whatever you are told and have the obedience of a robot. If there was anyone who could hear my prayers that had the power to make them come true I would pray that these children get out of this cult so it doesn't screw them up for life.

  • @ExMormon66 you're getting a lot of attention here... lucky you (:

actually in the book of mormon itself it says to question everything and find it out for yourself. we teach children to have faith in what is true. sorry you lost your testimony

  • @johnsdyl9319 Why would you need to have faith in what is true? Do you have faith that milk comes from cows?

  • @ExMormon66 you're funny. growing up farming with my dad i have personally seen cows give milk. that is called seeing with your eyes. knowing something is there that you can't see is called faith.

  • @johnsdyl9319 So basically you believe in knowing things you cannot possibly know. Typical Oxy-Mor(m)on

  • @ExMormon66 see you don't listen though. it's all about being right with you. i said i DO know. i just can't see. and you can never understand that unless you try it yourself. if you aren't going to then i'm sorry your heart is so hardened

  • @johnsdyl9319 If you can't verify it some way you don't know. You "feel" it emotionally but you don't know. I have done it myself. Those feelings you get when reading the book of mormon or listening to hymns that makes your heart warm and fuzzy so it all must be true right? Bull shit. I was a Mormon myself before and I know all that stuff, I also know that having faith with an open mind requires being open to all types of faith. Are you open minded or not?

  • @ExMormon66 you are only assuming things. you have all these questions and my only answer for you is the only true answer. which is the Gospel of Christ. It's the only answer you need.

  • Shut up with the damned arguments. Idiots. /herpdadurp.jpg

  • @hotrodholly23

It's not the video, it's the comments

  • When I ever go through like a hard time...I always listen to this song a couple other of my favorite primary songs. It make me feel so much better inside and I forget about everything wrong!:)-3

  • @kenm66 I've been mormon all my life and still am you'll never gonna change my mind. Because I truly know that this church is true. As u know that theirs a lot of mormon in Africa. And we dont judge anyone so please stop

  • @Danielito9320 LOL the church doesn't judge anyone? Get your head out of your ass. The support of banning of gay marriages and saying gay people need to try to become straight is just one of thousands of examples.

  • @ExMormon66 your examples actually arent judgments. a judgment would be, "you are gay because you never got to express yourself properly as a child." what you wrote down were statements/suggestions.

  • this is my favorit song

  • i love this song so much it makes me fill so good insied i love being a member

  • i love this song so much it makes me fill so good insied i love being a morman

  • HOLA

  • i love being a member and true and living church here on earth with living prophet, living apostle and priesthood of God, a members who welling to give and to share without in return, welling to suffer to those in need and give full love even a pure love. truely this is the church of Jesus Christ, here on earth. iloilo city ward c.lansangan

  • @elansangan The prophet is a bigot. If this is the true church of God I wanna go to hell.

  • @KenM66 i see you on a lot of videos. i already told you this is the true church of God. if you don't believe that then will you please just lay off. because you aren't going to change anyone's mind no matter what kind of anti mormon literature you have read from. you lack knowledge. don't go to the Catholics and Lutherans to find about the Mormons. and don't even bother trying to prove our religion wrong. we don't have proof, we have the spirit that is an undeniable feeling you could never fake

  • @biggumchokee I was a Mormon for 12 years and very devoted at one time. The church doesn't tell the truth about their history. Why would someone go to the Mormons who swore to secrecy the sacred things? Their church approved information is just set up to try to con people into joining to take their 10%

  • @KenM66 believe what you want but you obviously weren't devoted enough to let a couple convincing lies tear you away. my dad always says how great of a business the LDS church is with the whole 10% thing. it says right in the bible that you should pay tithe, not in the book of mormon.

  • @biggumchokee How does he know what they do with the 10%? Has he seen their accounting statements? Because nobody else has. It wasn't the lies that took me away, it was the truth. Mormonism is a Double-Bind. A church with the truth wouldn't have to tell people not to go outside the church for information, because the truth would speak for itself and what others say wouldn't matter.

  • @KenM66 that's totally idiotic to say haha. people will always have their own opinions on what the truth is. there is not one thing in this entire universe that you can go to everyone about and get the same answer. that is like saying it is ok to go to a racist man and ask him if black people are nice people. well i know some nice black people but the racist man might say they are of the devil. regardless of the truth you can not go to anybody and ask what it is and expect the right answer.

  • @KenM66 if you want to know what we believe then come to us. if you think you will be getting answers elsewhere then you are mistaken. people will always assume and try to bring down what is right.

  • @biggumchokee Religions like the LDS church feel they can just change their beliefs whenever they want to. The Journal of Discourses is a prime example. The church trying to cover up that it was official doctrine when it was considered so for many years. Have you ever visited FairLDS? It is a church member run apologist site that admits to many of these issues. I know what the beliefs are, probably much more than you do to be honest.

  • @KenM66 you know what you have found on internet to be true. i know what the truth is to be true. anyone can say anything on the internet. and if knowing more than me is important to you then i will let you feel that way. you can say all you want but truth will prevail on this world one way or another. Good luck until then. you will need it.

  • @biggumchokee How do you know it to be the truth? Cuz it feels all warm and fuzzy when you read it?

  • @ExMormon66 okay this juss disturbing pleaz dont do this.......... its all about the song not u I think thats the only nice way i can put it

  • @KenM66 hey if you know about the church so much, then why aren't you a member of the only true and living Church here upon the earth? If I were you, I would seek God for truth and not google. Google may be all knowing, but it doesn't have power to save from physical and spiritual death.

  • @biggumchokee If you were wrong wouldn't you wanna know it? If I have evidence that you are wrong wouldn't you at least wanna see it first before calling it lies? So is everything that makes the church look bad wrong?

  • From the mouths of babes. :)

  • This was my favorite song in Primary

  • This is such a beautiful song. Must everyone ruin the spirituality by arguing about what Mormons did and do now! Just message eachother and make it personal between eachother!

Anyways, this song has always been a favorite. I looooove it .

  • whether there is a God or not - you have agency to make your own choices. hope you make the right one!

  • perhaps you should assume there IS a God for the sake of arguement

  • @BurpinChunks You're dodging the question. The question is, if there was no God, how would that be wrong to be gay? You think just because you are straight you are higher above someone is gay. Homosexual is determined by someone's genes and hormones. No matter what someone does or how much they don't like it they are never going to change. Why is life all about making babies and nothing else?

  • How is liking the same gender perfectly natural. We were designed to make familys and you can't do that if you are gay I think it is a temptation because Satan doesn't want us to have familys.

  • @mysheltierocks Homosexuality has been identified in animals as well. So if you had friends that were gay is that going to make you consider becoming gay? Under your logic you are saying someone should get married just for the purpose of creating families even if they don't love each other. People don't ask or choose to be gay, and if they aren't hurting others why is it wrong? Assume there is no God just for the sake of argument. What would be wrong with being gay?

  • frumoasa melodie..sa fie binecuvantat cel ce a pus aceasta mel pe youtub..kiss frati si surori..

  • Flying Spaghetti Monster! Are you really there?

  • Nice song, wrong faith.

  • @rcbdo

    uhm???

    Seriosly??'

If you don't believe in this then WHY ARE YOU WHATCHING THIS?

Im a mormon and im proud of it!

    So don'y WHATCH!

    bye

  • @miryamallison99

I'm listening to the song, its a good song.

But you might consider this for reference

    Try Google "Problems_with_the_Book_of_Mormon"

  • @rcbdo They'll just call any website they find "Anti-Mormon"

  • @rcbdo Also, you have to be fair and google "Problems with the Bible"

  • Thats where you are completely wrong.

  • @rcbdo That's where you are wrong

  • This is a good song but these kinds of songs are exactly how I got conned into joining this made up church.

  • @KenM66 How can you say that!!!! It is completely true and I think it is just sad that you would be so cruel to say that. This is the true church and I know this for myself, you are very wrongly mistaken. :(

  • @mysheltierocks I was Mormon for 12 years and they try to always paint a nice picture of the church and how loving it is but it wasn't always so nice. I think maybe you haven't heard of the racisms of Joseph Smith and Brigham Young, the polyandry and JS having affairs with women already married, and even the problems today like the constant gay bashing they have done, including firing an employee because he wouldn't abandon his gay friends that he was in touch with.

  • @KenM66 Once again, you are wrong. I am sorry, because I hate to argue but I stand for what is right. And this is. Whatever you say can't change that.

  • @mysheltierocks Why don't you show me an example of what I am wrong about and why I am wrong about it. Are you saying that they never taught racist teachings? Are you saying JS never practiced polygamy/polyandry? What are you saying that I'm wrong about? The church and its members make open slams about homosexuals saying it is a sinful act of Satan but have no reputable source other than their uninformed opinion to back it up. I want to know what I am wrong about and how.

  • @KenM66 We don't teach racists and all of that stuff. We are good people and try our best to be christ-like so you are wrong becuase that is not true. Anyways, I am not saying that homosexual is a good thing becuase it isn't but we don't teach that. And how exactly do you know all that? Where is your proof?

  • @mysheltierocks "There is a reason why one man is born black and with other disadvantages, while another is born white with great advantages. The reason is that we once had an estate before we came here, and were obedient, more or less, to the laws that were given us there. Those who were faithful in all things there received greater blessings here, and those who were not faithful received less." (Doctrines of Salvation, p. 61)

  • @mysheltierocks “Shall I tell you the law of God in regard to the African race? If the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain, the penalty, under the law of God, is death on the spot. This will always be so. “ (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 10, p. 110)

  • @mysheltierocks “And the skins of the Lamanites were dark, according to the mark which was set upon their fathers, which WAS A CURSE, upon them because of their transgression.” (Alma 3:6; 2 Nephi 5:21)

  • @mysheltierocks “ And it came to pass that 1 beheld, after they had dwindled, in unbelief they became a dark, and loathsome, and a filthy people, full of idleness and all manner of abominations.” (Book of Mormon, 1 Nephi 12:23)

  • @mysheltierocks “The negroes are not equal with other races where the receipt of certain spiritual blessings are concerned, particularly the priesthood and the temple blessings that flow there from, but this inequality is not of man's origin. It is the lord's doing... “ (Mormon Doctrine, 1958, page 477)

  • @mysheltierocks Surely you also know that blacks couldn't serve in the priesthood until 1978. Why do you think that was?

  • @mysheltierocks and yes... the church does teach that homosexuality is wrong but it is in fact perfectly natural. Homosexuality has been documented in many species, but homophobia has only been documented in one. They teach that gay feelings are a temptation of satan and that it is possible for people to just change over time when in fact less than 1% who really wanted to change orientation were ever able to. Gays aren't hurting others, so what is the problem with it?

  • @mysheltierocks Saying that you "know" this is the true church doesn't mean anything to me. Many religions will claim the same thing and this church manipulates your emotions to be dishonest saying you "know" something that you have no way of knowing. It is just that warm fuzzy feeling that you get but it most certainly not an indicator of what you believe it is true. This is what is called the "love bombing effect." Make it loving so people think if it feels good it must be true.

  • @KenM66 What are you talking about>? Yeah, I know all that but I didn't say anything about that. That has nothing to do with proof that I asked for. Know, we don't judge people by that because that was there ansestors not them. They're not bad because of their skin color.

  • Before the foundation of the universe, (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints was and is now restored back on earth and always will be forever, the only true Gospel.

  • @rickgigliotti What will it take for you to understand that there is only one perfect man, one Savior, one man who died for all of us, and his name is Jesus Christ? He is our Savior, Redeemer, and most importantly, your brother.

  • @jcone276 Mormons have "another" testament (scripture) and a different god (actually many)

  • @rickgigliotti It just make sense and then you pray and recieve an answer that it is true and you gain the conviction necissary to return to OUR heavenly Father. Here is dsome food for thought

3And because my words shall hiss forth—many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible.

  • @rickgigliotti 7Know ye not that there are more anations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the bisles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the cearth beneath; and I bring forth my dword unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?

  • @rickgigliotti Therefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the atestimony of btwo nations is a cwitness unto you that I am God, that I remember one dnation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two enations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also.

  • @rickgigliotti That is not true. We have another TRUE scripture, the Book Of Mormon and you just choose to not believe it. Plus, we only have one god like most christains

  • @rickgigliotti I ask you with hope that you will understand, why you say our Jesus is different? Is he not the same man that healed the sick and comforted those in need of comfort? Is he not the Jesus that loved and still loves each and everyone of us? Is he not the SAME Savior that DIED on a cross for all of us? ([Matthew 13: 55] Is not this the carpenter’s son ? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren , James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?) What will it take for you to understa

  • when i'm a primary , i always singing this song .. because it is very beautiful !! :DD

  • @jelseo I agree! Its my fav.!

  • The "Mormon jesus" is a totally different Jesus from the Bible. The Jesus in the Bible is the only savior you would want.

  • @rickgigliotti Who cares, Jesus is dead anyway, it is all speculation of who or what he was.

  • @rickgigliotti They are the SAME person!

  • love it!!!!!

  • Great song! Very humbling!

  • I love this one. at church, its my favorite to sing

  • one of my favourites since i can remember.

  • I last thing, if elvismilk wants to challenge or insult or mock what I have just said. Go for it. For you can not upset me, Ive heard the worst of the worst. I just pray one day you will understand. Much love elvismilk. I hope you have a great Christmas and a happy new year. I do mean that from my heart. say what you wish.

  • I will also say this to my beloved saints, be mindful how you defend our faith. Remember, Christ always spoke with love and peace. He did not insult others. My best advice is to ignore him or her. Remember that none can hide from the judgment seat, for his punishment will be far greater then we can imagine. I know it may hurt to read, but its just the adversary at work. Remember we live in world but we dont live of it. We live on higher ground. Much love my saints.

  • To my lds family, I would not waste your time with Elvismilk. For he or she does not understand what he speaks. For he says we must look at Peter 3-16 and that is what his job is. Clear he or she doesnt understand, for if he or she did, would also read verses 14 and 15. It talks of peace which you are not at all showing. To the saints, we also know that such mean and cruel things wil be said all our lives. So say what you want elvismilk for i have heard it all before.

  • This is my favorite song in the world. i think that it is sweet and beautiful. I was able to sing this in my Primary program and I broke out in tears. This is truly an amazing song. I am Mormon and I really don't appreciate the negative comments. Please, keep the negative comments to yourself.

  • Heavenly Father, are you really there?

And, do you hear and answer every child's prayer?

Some say that heaven is far away but I feel it close around me as I pray.

    Pray He is there.

    Speak He is listening.

    You are His child.

    His love now surrounds you.

    He hears your prayer.

  • Hi friends let us not be arguing of what religion we are in today. The most important is, we are all believing God whole heartedly. There is a song that says, "We may worship in different ways... In our hearts we're undivided. worshipping one Saviour, One Lord..", but when Jesus will come he will unite us in His arms. Just be sure today that your heart is always tune up to God our Lord and Savior.

  • I remember singing this in primary because we had to. It was just another song. Until about 2 weeks ago, that's all it was. Then it came to my mind and I started to sing it for the first time in years, remembering all the words. It has so much more meaning in my life, especially right now. I love the gospel and am so proud to be a Latter-Day Saint.

  • I am also a Mormon and this is one of my favorite songs. it just brings tears to my eyes!

  • There is something very special about this song. It goes right to the core of your heart. It fills you with love and light. Listening to this, I completely forget how anyone could possibly hate a religion, let alone mine. This is what the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is really about.

Family and God. How is it that so many people out there don't get that this?

I can only suppose that they are blinded by our strange practices and our blemished history. But is that any way to judge?

  • love to hear this song

  • 3 people missed the like botton and im PROUD 2 be mormon

  • amen crystalkitty Im also lds

  • I love this gospel. I love my dear father in heaven what comfort it gives us thank you missionaries who taught me 35 yrs ago

  • PROUD TO MORMON(: Just hope thaat my family will find our way baack to hymn):

  • im proud to be a morman :)

  • I love this hymn... it does not matter how old one is, it applies to us all at any stage in our lives... Can't help a tear or two when I listen and sing along... L.

  • okay you guys we can't all say "I'm mormon now just shut up and go away." that isn't showing non-members how we really are. It's also not being christ like. plz don't get me wrong.

  • Christlike, LOL, yeah, celibate, sinless, never married, surrounded by guys who love only him, more like gay, but oh well. Some of us have to have kids, or there would have never been any man on the cross myth...

  • for everyone that says we LDS are stupid please shut up. i'm asking nicely, so stop. anyway, this song is beautiful. especially listening to it at general confeance today, i love it.

  • This is my favorite primary song. Everytime i listen to it i can feel the spirit greatly. Whenever I'm scared, I'll say a prayer and think of this song. I love the church.

  • I forgot this one...love it.

  • your heard gothfaire!! We have our own religion!!

  • love this song sooo much!!!! i can listen to this song forever

  • This is my favorite primary song by a long shot :)

  • if u dont like mormons then leave us alone And dont comment!!

  • this has to be my favorite primary song :) it hits the spot somtimes

  • dude what do have agenst mormons???

  • Here! Here! So True!

  • What i want to know...is why people who just talk crap on LDS people go to the hyms and other songs like these and start a huge arguement? Like if you dont like them why are you on these songs? Ya exactly, thats what i thought....

  • Comment removed

  • If you believe that the Mormon religon is a cult, then fine by me, but there is no need to go about the hymns, and post that the religon is not true.

  • @alexrad1 :

Singing about your faith and love for Heavenly Father and Jesus is sh*t for you? Now, that says a lot about your upbringing and character.

  • SHUT UP there is nothing wrong with mormon and we have a right to our own religion as much as you do so leave us alone

  • I love this song!!!!!!!! It is sopposed to be a slow song not a rap song like someone did!!!

  • where are visions , dreams ... today in the church ?

  • NOW! As always. Pray, once again.

  • we are all children before god :)

  • we all shound pray like a child

  • For the sake of feelings please just stop argueing with each other. thank you those did not.

  • @7thingsgirl We are supposed to LOVE each other. "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do." That's what Jesus Christ said to those who mocked him and bound him and scowled at him. He LOVED them, even while they KILLED him, painfully, killed him, might I add.

  • I do not wish to argue, but I am a Mormon, and I find this all very offensive. Jesus volunteered to be sacrificed himself, and so God gave up his only begotten son to save us all from our sins. I have felt God's spirit and I've had a revelation to me, and I know, without a doubt, that God lives and so does Jesus Christ, so if you have something against this, please do not put it up for all to see.

    thanks

  • If you don't want to offend take away HELL then, ok?

  • Sorry nutjob, I am just fulfilling 1 Peter, mocking, ridiculing and persecuting you sick in the head, folks, NEXT....

  • When you take away HELL from your religion for people with beliefs like mine then maybe I will stop, until then no way is my mocking going to cease.

  • @crystalkitty231 - the Morman Tabernacle Choir sings this song.

    Why would you be offended?

  • @crystalkitty231

What is offensive exactly? I am mormon, i find nothing offensive in this video.

  • I think it is so sad that all this arguing and hate is going on on a child's lullaby.

  • God did not give up his child, Christ volunteered too be sacrificed. God was with him the entire time, save for one moment. He did not "give up" his child, so do not say that.

  • Well actually he did... God didn't have to let Jesus sacrifice himself. but he knew it had to happen for the spiritual welfare of mankind.

  • That's because he knows all right? And knew he would screw up with universe and human creating right?

  • I LUV DIS CHURCH PROUD TO B A SAINT

  • Reality Check: For the truth about mormonism please read "Mormonism Shadow or Reality" by Jerald and Sandra Tanner, or watch Sandra online. She and her husband led thousands from the mormon cult.

  • i already no da truth for us about mormons we are goin da rite way way and we're goin to da rite church!

  • I love this song. I got to sing it with our primary when I was a teacher. I so loved that calling. Even if I was the only person singing bass. Now some of those kids are in YM and YW.

  • i love this song!!!!

    since i was a primary!!!

  • awesome!!!

  • I had the pleasure of singing this For Elder Holland when he was Here in Orlando.

    it was absolutely amazing!

  • i have been sining alot and im only 13 when i herd this song i was in front of my brother and broke out and cryed 5-12-09

  • beautiful!!

  • Vile, kids should be told the truth, not that Santa lives when you are still twenty years old.

  • I have faith that Santa Lives. maybe not at the north pole as the old fable says but I belive he lives. I belive that Santa being an American and very much international Version of a Old Catholic Saint, a Bishop by the name of Saint Nicholas. He lived. and so did Christ. I belive in God. Santa is just that a symbol of Faith in Christ the Lord of heaven

  • And Christ is just a symbol of an anthropomorphic's desire to assemble cognitive recognition of the unknown, for no reason knowable. Good luck with your man in the clouds.

  • My faith in Christ is no more unfounded than your faith in science. You have no more facts for Science than I have for God, and even your science has yet to prove that God doesnt exist just as much as they have proven that he does. Good luck with your digging. Hopefully you can come to a logical conclusion to your existence that fits all of the facts assuming you have them all.

  • My digging just needs the shovel of archaic theology that has yet to prove the dirt you call God exists. Define this three letter thing for me and I will except the burden that your man in the clouds doesn't exist.

  • Hopefully you can come to a logical conclusion to your existence that fits all of the facts assuming you have them all. Why must a logical conclusion be God?, are you nuts, well yes I can answer that for you. Good luck with your afterlife guarantees. LOL

  • I didn't say it had to be God, and your vain attempts to mock me are pitiful to say in the least, you degrade yourself more than I, I hope your friends can laugh just as much as you even at my expence. I won't mind. I know your kind and I'm sorry for you, not because of you

  • Faith in Christ means God, vain attempts is your fortay, and pitiful is Christianity's middle name. I would feel the sorrow if I had a sorrowful event occur, until then wallow in yours while your thing in the clouds thunders his theistic jokes at your expense, not "expence", LOL
