listen you have three job slots.When i reach level 4 or 5, i switch jobs start at level 1 again and build something else.The game is a good game,but it is hard.I hate easy games,i wanted challenge so i got this game.OH yea WITH UR 500 dollars GET A priest :).

BAD:

this games way too fucking hard, stuff is too expensive, need to go long ways to finish one quest, without a preist or somthing the games literally impossible, bosses kill you in 3 shots, you only have about 100 life when your level 20, the town is filled with usless people that says dumb useless stuff.

GOOD

it has good graphics(and uniqe) for a psp rpg game,

good music

you can see what your wearing ynlike most rpg psp games.

so i give it 6/10

A little cheat with this game when you start out. First: Get a priest for a partner with your 500g, second put her to use no weapon attack in the behavior section (You should put it to full recover hp) Never go to the inn for hp recovery (if you want hp recovery use your priest, if you want mp run into a wall with no monsters nearby. When your a reasonable level to kill without getting dropped run around the first dungeon hunting copper coins for money, Add new party members when you get money.

Its an alright game. Definitly worth having it in your game collection. But, its far from the best. One thing I cant stand about this game is the fact your characters have ZERO voice acts. They say nothing, they dont even voice the sound of being hit, NOTHING!!!

Not much of a storyline to keep you clinched much like the FF series.

i have this game and its good.

one the game starts off slows showing u what the town has to offer like the guild and shop. second the controls r easy to use like x and o is to attack and triangle is a special. is hard at some part and long. and different jobs makes it confusing but if ur smart ull get it but overall it ok. like a 8/10 with a game with no voices lol

nope. not at all. But its a lot of fun with a lot of customizability. Story is standard and generic, existing only so that your character has some motivation other than "I want neato items!!" to battle endless hordes of orcs, living-slime, evil fairies and assorted other beasties.

Saying nothing about the game (I've not played it), but this is the worst trailer I've ever seen. The guy voicing it has no enthusiasm at all, probably because all he's doing is listing off generic RPG features that, at this point, are almost expected anyway.

lol Valhalla knights is still one of the best least known psp rpgs out there. Sorry man but monster hunter is in another style. Love monster hunter but if you love that grandia/ff12/kingdom hearts style rpg this is for you. And with Valhalla knights 2 coming out soon, better get on Valhalla knights one now lol

This is unfortunatly true, I got Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G last week from a friend and gave it back 2 days after, it just gets boring and NOT because it's in japanese since I understand most of it (I take japanese in school) it's just repetitive and boring when you spend an hour trying to kill a Tigrex and then get owned with one hit. Plus it follows no story. To all who say this has bad graphics remember it was made before Monster Hunter Freedom so keep that in mind.

u have to beat the samurai guy 1-on-1 in the present, and group battle in the past. yuki145 is right, u need loads of cure/heal potion.

this game is easy cos most of the enemy is useless once u mass blind/paralyse them.

this game is cool. for a psp game console it is one of the best rpg.for me it is very versatile.job combination.cool AI(has beter AI commands than 1st dotHack series).impressive graphics and damn network play! repetative? for me it is not. you can change job so it wont be repetative at all! exmp theif(you can also active 1st person view if using bow and arrow aint that cool?)
