The right of every citizen to work in support of themselves and families through their own industry is a natural right. The exercise of that right is NOT the proper or legal subject of taxation. There is no place in the tax code that identifies U.S. citizens as persons liable to pay a tax on the exercise of that most sacred and natural right. Government may tax privileged activities within its authority to regulate certain modes of commerce, but occupations of common right are exempt from tax.
Great job, Ethan!!
