no guys its not the guitar nor the settings of ipod or anything else.. :) ..the guy just can play ..thats it. it is quite a cheap guitar in his hands but still he has the sound and its without any buzzing or else..as always it begins and ends on skill and fingers.

@MatKiller1197 these are completely the same as when i bought it, i've not changed them at all, i've never had any real problems with them

@MatKiller1197 it depends where ou play i have one and i play in front of my computer tv amp or whatever and get alot of feedback try to play being far from a computer or whatever and the pickups will be noiseless

is this a good guitar? im trying to decide between the m-10 or a dean vx my friend is going to sell me for 150 with a dimebucker in it that hasnt been wired up yet and ive never replaced a pickup before in my life so should i buy this guitar or a new m-10??? plz help me out

@GforGarbage hey, i would say it is a good guitar for the price yeah - it doesn't sound the best when plugged straight into the starter amp, but with a pedal i'm sure it would be better, i use a pod xt live and think it sounds great now :)

i've not heard the other guitar or played it so i can't really compare the two, sorry!

@TWCHEX Hey, i'm probably not the best person to ask since i've not played that many different guitars, but i would say the M-10 holds it's tuning well, and i've played it in drob B quite alot too! It doesn't sound too great without a pedal though on the amp it comes with.

@gunitsin2008 I record the sound straight to the computer through my pod, and i record the video seperately with my camera then synch them at the end with windows movie maker - i record them both at the same time so it synchs up okay.

@BlackLabelFREAK ahh sorry, I think you would need a pedal - i could never get the amp to sound very good before i got mine :/ I have a Line 6 Pod X3 Live, it's pretty expensive but i'm sure a cheeper distortion pedal would improve the sound (i'm not the person to ask about which one though, because the pod is the only thing i've used)

@BlackLabelFREAK My guitar goes to my pedal which has 2 outputs, 1 to my amp (so i can hear what i'm playing) and 1 to my computer. I use software called audacity for recording the audio.

I can unplug the pedal from the computer and it still sounds the same coming from my amp cos of the tones stored on the pedal.

Is that what you were asking?

@TheRockClassicfan Yeah, it doesn't sound the best without some sort of pedal :/

In my vids, the sound you hear doesn't come from the amp, i record the sound directly to the computer using my Pod X3 Live. The sound i get out the amp is pretty much the same as you hear on the vids though :)

@Slayerpwnsu hey, i find it stays in tune really well, i've had it in drop b for playing PWD songs and even then it's fine :) only thing i've done to it was put thicker strings on it (11s i think)

@CrazyRaven2009 i use the Pod X3 live - if you're going to be using the amp that comes with the guitar i would recommend some sort of pedal because it doesn't have the best sound - it's pleanty loud enough, just doesn't sound too great on its own. The guitar is great to play though :)

Nice dude. I just learned Zacky's part of the solo up until the second part of the intro lastnight. Its fun to play. XD I got a Dean EVO Special guitar in the flame red finish with a Hartke 15 watt practice amp and a Digitech RP90 effects pedal set on I believe a low Digitech Death Metal distortion setting. I'm going to try and learn the rest of the song sometime but for now it will be Zacky's solo.

u got a pod? - if you do, there are better a7x tones in the 'tone library' on gearbox. This one isnt great, i dont use it anymore
