  • this is not Drum and Bass...this is just gay

  • Saw them live in '98 or so and couldn't believe they still sounded so good. And even though I loved Freddie Mercury, Paul did a tremendous job when he was touring with Queen. Best voice in rock.

  • dang ive never heard this song live only the studio version!!!! its so much better then the studio version i think lol i love that guys voice it fits the song perfectly

  • bad company ffdp or them it rocks either way love it

  • this is like watching that bright ass lightning bolt crash to the ground in the middle of a thunderstorm.......holy bat-shit batman...did I say " WOW "

  • Comment removed

  • Paul still has a great voice!!!

  • These guys still kill it!! 5FDP Did a great remake too.

  • @killersbytrade you are a freaking idiot if you think 5fdp did better

  • @ataboytt learn to read, numbnuts. I never said they did better, just acknowledged their remake.

  • @NibblerVStheBrain....you got to be joking!!!!! You must be some young kid, who goes for rap and that kind of chit. Redneck1006.....I for one agree.....kicks ass. Bad company...Boston..and the likes of them...ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

  • There will be only ONE Bad Company!

  • @redneck1006 are you serious? it sounds like the worst pop-metal song, especially with the gay "yeeee-eah" filler crap.

  • Classic :-)

  • Company, always on my mind! We are known by the company we keep.

  • these are the real rockers! the 70's are coming back, you better get ready for some real parties i mean old school parties! where we had ludes and acid! the real macoy! no bulshit.

  • old school rock

  • the original will always be best but five finger death punch did an amazing more current rock cover. both are amazing!:D

  • @kamikazi1178 now that is true it is more recent but NO ONE can EVER forget the classic

  • that mick ralphs on guitar?

  • Paul Rodgers is a god among man.

  • Its stuff like this that makes me think Im addicted to you tube nice post .I had this lp also and lost it .

  • THE Song of Vietnam

  • I saw this band in the late 70s. I would go see them again and again and again.

  • There just like wine

  • THIS sounds like the old Bad Company !!!! Ivan from 5FDP grew up on these guys as well as the metal. But like someone else said you have to learn rock from best up to truly love it, It is one of his MOST favorite songs in the world thats why he did the cover, The video on utube rocks fotage from 5fdp toured Iraq

  • 5FDP IS SO MUCH BETTER

  • @ICYSkaterz no, no its not.

  • @ICYSkaterz not its not, original is Always better... its more of a tribute than to compete... same with Killswitch Engage and covering Dio's song...

  • one word ......killer

  • glad to hear the real version instead of the suckass remake!

  • Ditto that NariofNowhere... drive to San Francisco was awesome with this song cranking! ~~~ Love it!

  • Sweet music to my ears

  • I lpve this!!

  • The beginning was a little rough but he pulled it off

  • i heard this song on the radio and i just had to know it so i searched the lyrics and now its one of my favorite songs ever.

  • this might be the greatest rock song of all time. OK...it's the greatest rock song of all time.

  • Absolute high class(ic) rock. Where is this sound today...

  • five finger death punch did a great cover

  • Love this song and love Bad Company. This song is the one I always play in the car driving down a certain road that doesnt ever have much traffic. I crank it up and put down the windows, then I put the gas peddle all the way down! I get the speedometer up to 140mph in a heart beat with this song.

  • it could be used in battlefield bad company 2 :D

  • @grizlisid22 haha hell yeah it should be! we should start a poll... somehow

  • @grizlisid22 lol I put this on my battlefield music list to play while im listening.

  • 2:34 nice.

  • 2:34

  • Best classic rock band ever. No one can touch Bad Company. Love them & love this song.

  • @SlayerAndWhiskey yeah they are very good, aerosmith is my favorite though.

  • @ItachiThe7th you are correct, any big rock band from 1965 / 1975 is the best . it is only shit that has ever been writen that is always quoted after all these years

  • i kinda like the five finger death punch version more... good song nevertheless

  • that is a fuckin bad ass cover...

  • wtf?

  • very unique voice and awesome control. great song

  • that was so corny man just leave

  • you have no sense of humor man just leave

  • i have no sense of humor???dog shit is funnier than you

  • dude seriously theres more things out there that are funny than family guy or south park or whatever the hell you like

  • haha that was funny but i dont watch that i never did

  • whatever duchebag

  • how am i the DOUCHEBAG???

  • i'm not the one who started an argument over a joke on a bad company video :)

  • ok lets get this straight...do you like the band Bad Company or not?

  • well if you would consider someone who likes 3 or 4 songs by a band a fan of that band then yes

  • dude this video sounds extremely good for being live. most live concert videos on here dont have that kind of clarity

  • GREAT VOICE AND GREAT BAND!!!!!

  • Paul Rogers is fantastic. Who cares if he does aerobics while hi sings. Free, Bad Co. and Queen Paul taking over for Mercury. What Talent

  • This is also a super laid back song, it's not sopposed to be over the top. It's good like 2am driving down the highway music

  • right on brother!

  • @Arcanecide

I agree, helps to forget the miles

  • ohh i work out to this differences huh?

  • this is a good tune!

  • WTF, So Paul Rogers can out sing and kick ass, literally, on all of AC/DC.

Why compare them ? The both rock !

It's true and well known Paul Rogers can bring it vocally, delivering us vintage Rock n Roll that we all crave.

I remember a time when the sound was an important element of music.

The great metal 1970's would not be complete without them.

Your messin with Rock Royalty dude.

  • from looking at the video of this, there aint that much energy.....not like AC/DC where they are running up and down the stage shaking hands with fans, and dancing around, getting lifted up onto a scissor lift to rock out a 20 minute solo. Or a gigantic whore riding a the train to hell. But these guys look like they would be ok dry humping air.

  • Yeah, but Bad Company was never that kind of band in the first place. They were always more, sit back, smoke a doob and dig the tunes kind of rock band.

  • @askdirt High energy shows are fun and all but this is a chilled out type of song for the most part.

  • @askdirt it not ment to be like that it a song of sad ness

  • alot of lead singers cant seem to hold up over time....however paul rogers voice is incredible

  • i saw them this past summer in NY AMAZING and his voice is better then ever

they truly kicked ass not one of these

"were a bunch of old guys" shows total energy start to finish

  • @the7train your a lucky man, my friend,,,, wish i could have seen them live

  • they are awsome he just didnt sing it like the lp version but great band hands down!!

  • their awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • at 228 he forgets the lyrics

  • the beginning of this song sounds so haunting, i guess thats why it was used in the comercial for a supernatural episode

  • Bad Company is the best classic rock song of all time-brilliant

  • Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke only originals in this video from the original Bad Co.

  • @jlpaul20 thats mick ralphs on guitar-

  • AGELESS & TIMELESS!

    Kat~

  • ok, cool, thank you so much... :)

  • Yes they are... I've been huge fans of theirs for years!!!

  • Are these the original bad co guys? I can't tell.

  • Great concert!

  • if anyone thinks these guys suck, you can blow dogs for quarters....they kick arse...why else would 5FDP cover this....this Bad Company album was the first rock album my father ever got me...you have to appreciate classic rock, before you can understand today's rock scene...

  • what rock scene it died with classic rock

  • @bear1978az ...the ''rock'' scene of today blows donkeys. If there was a rock scene of today. LOL

  • @bear1978az Amen

  • @bear1978az I have my dads bad company record from back in the day. It's an Awesome album.

  • @bear1978az You're absolutely right. My first album ever was Run With The Pack by Bad Company given to me by my father. Great root rock music.

  • Muito bommmmmmmm!

  • Paul Rogers is one of the best singers in all of rock's history!

  • this is one of the best songs to crank in the car down the highway. :) just good old-fashioned kickass driving music.

  • i was doing that last night

  • @NariofNowhere It's that kind of tune, that should be played each time a bad-ass guy leaves a loving girl behind and drives away in his Mustang never to return.

  • @NariofNowhere if you have a motor you can hear and feel in your car, on the third drum hit before "BAD COMPANY!" floor the gas pedal. feels amazing.

  • @NariofNowhere

amen... put that thing on repeat and keep driving with no destination in mind!

  • to Maximus elaximus - Although Paul Rodgers is no spring chicken - I do not see anything strange about him singing the signature song for Bad Company "till the day I die."

  • yeah but you must admit that the guy does hold his age quite well!

  • I think someone should take some Clint Eastwood clips from his spaghetti Western days, like from High Plains Drifter, Fist Full of Dollars, ect...., and make them into a video for this song. That would be cool!

  • the music speaks to the soul

  • Bad Company was one of the very few bands signed under the short lived Swan Song label, Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page new talent when he herd and saw it!!

  • I Agree! Paul Rodgers & Co Awsome!!!!

  • love me some bad company

  • I never knew Paul played piano. This is a great performance!!

  • he's got some killer vocal runs in this version. amazing. really shows that he's well rounded in his vocal styles. my fav vocalist right now.

  • still stunned to know paul rodgers is married to a girl from my neighborhood....canadian girls are THE finest...

  • Paul Rodgers is THE rock'n roll singer o all times!!

  • i just listened back-to-back (70's version/this one)...contemporary performance supreior quality vocals better...my opinion

  • much better now than in the seventies.

the drummer is amazing. paul sings better also.

  • When you are cool you are cool and Bad Company still rocks.

  • He has such a great voice

  • They still got it... I saw them in 83

  • this rocks.

  • Both of them was in a band called Free

    in the 60's

  • In fact they Sound Better then they did in the 70's

saw then in concert in the 70's

  • There are two members of the old band Drummer KIRKE

    and Rogers

  • this is what we call back over in beautiful germany..Sehr gut...

  • my chick works in v.i.p,s at sky tv and spoke with the great man on phone, she came home with a smile like a cheshire cat and said he is a"lovely guy"had the good fortune to see him twice in glasgow over the years and the man never fails to touch your soul!!legend.

  • this aint bad co, this is the paul rogers band,,its wrong wrong wrong...

  • no it isnt-

that is mick on guitar..........that is bad co

  • the music is good, but paul murdered the vocal part, this song is amazing, but it pains me to hear it sung like this

  • twt814-

everyone is entitled to an opinion..i have no idea what you are listening to though...ok,maybe it isn't pauls best singing performance ever, but buthchered and i ts hard to listen to are just ridiculous - i have a good ear and in no way does he fuck the song up- its a bit different thats about all-

  • perhaps he is singing it w/ a bit more improvising because he is bored w/ singing it straight like the original recording, but he sounds fine, is on pitch & Paul being one of the best Rock voices since the 60's always is on his game. if you are in pain, perhaps you are sitting on something sharp, i'd ask out of a "Morbid Curiousity" what exactly it is that pains you, but i know it would be a waste of time.

  • I agree that maybe he is just bored with the original. Ilike it.

  • sounds fine to me, whats wrong wi it.

  • man you are what we say in glasgow "a ballbag"

  • You are what we call back in the Netherlands, a 'waar de tief heb jij het over?'

  • rodgers is talented man he can play a piano like betoven i wonder if he plays drums man hehehe

  • He plays guitar, bass drums, piano, and sings. Listen to seagull, its all him. So is his whole cut loose album. He is amazing... and it helps that hes extremely hot.

  • UN FUCKINBELIEAVABLE!

I get to meet 'the voice' next week Aug 8th 2008 in FtLauderdale at the hard rock.

Mentor is not a big enough word to describe what Paul means to me.

Thanks man...from day 1 of FREE, you are rocks standard bearer in the singing realm of things.

    I am eternally grateful.

    Barry

  • Wow I cannot believe they still sound so damn good.

  • This band is SO great :-D

  • The other day i saw the Simpsons and this song was in it. Awesome. The Episode is where Flanders Moves and the town hes in no one likes his mustach and he refuses to shave it.

  • Nice wig Paul.

Can't understand why this guy is touring with Queen, when he has his own music legacy.

  • I answer to you with this:

Paul Rodgers is the only rock singer from the 70's , that still sounds great in his 50's (2)

  • I'm not disputing your answer mate, Yes he is!!!, I'm simply saying why does he need to join Queen who are IMO the most overrated band EVER!!

Bad Co and Free were much better.

  • yes..=D ..two great bands..queen & bad co.

but.. queen everyone in the world knows this.. if i receive a invite from brian may to sing together............... =P

    you understand.. lol

  • the most overrated band ever?

are you thinking what you are writing???

i like free and bad co

but, if you think queen is an overrated band, you are fuckin crazy...

queen is one of the 5 greatest rock bands

  • IMO = In My Opinion.

    OK.

  • Paul Rodgers is the only rock singer from the 70's , that still sounds great in his 50's

  • Does anyone have the studio version of this?

  • I wish i could've been their.

  • This is the Merchants of Cool album recording, isn't it?
