  • Look it's G.I. Jack-off.

  • It's almost hard to believe that this unholy abomination was once a glorious SKS carbine designed by Sergei Simonov...

  • 6 month wait period on getting one :(

  • Comment removed

  • @TheMrfrawg SKS's were never designed to take a detachable magazine, so the internal magazine MUST be loaded via stripper clips. (Both terms apply in this case.)

So, this is really just a silly piece of garbage in the end. If someone wants a short rifle in 7,62x39 soviet.... instead of wasting a nice SKS carbine, they can just get a WASR-10. Which is a relatively short version of the AK-47 produced by Century Arms. This bullpup weapon however.... more accurate at distance.

  • @WolfFawkes With an additional 20 bucks you can get a high capacity magazine release and feed it the same 20 or 30 round sks mags. It may even beable to support a drum magazine

  • me likey. wonder if its available in canada

  • Comment removed

  • Too bad they are a no go in Canada

  • just needs a compensator, the history still lives in this rifle!!

  • pew pew i liek

  • bull up rifles suck. I hate them. I'd prefer standard sks.

  • @zizzy007 i know bullpups have trigger rod problems due to faulty designs; ill take my folding pistol grip anyday...still got the full barrel and bayonet if needed(for the zombie invasion; or (censored for our protection) peace out fellow enthusiast

  • lol that holographic sight is in Battlefield 3. I'd love one.

  • haha i like how u hide from dirt behind a see threw mesh wall

  • @CHS1488

Haha, I like how you can't spell. It's not real, he's showing off the rifle. Maybe you should stand there so he can shoot at you. To make it more realistic of course.

  • call me crazy but i dont like my face that close to the action,i like my ear i wanna keep it on the side of my head

  • And i love how his finger is clearly on the trigger at 2:00, and how the rest of the vid hes swinging from left to right flagging the camera person. Camera is moving too much to be a tripod before someone comments and says that's the case. umm... anyone else catch that?

  • nice attempt, but its still a pretty much useless rifle now more difficult to operate. (saying this even though I own one). Im just gonna save up and get a p90 still or an FS2000

  • Where the pka scopes come from?

  • You!!!..You, disgusting soil murderer!

  • Nice paper defensive barriers.

  • lol it doesnt a SKS anymore............

  • Love the cheek weld discipline. And that sweet grab the of the stock shooting was sick! lol.

  • pretty cool reloading method

  • I think I see an alien, zombie, mutant, infection, liberal entitlement-bankruptcy survivor!

  • Looks really good, bullpup makes a rifle very compact but, reloading bullpup takes some finesse...

  • Is this a trailer for the new Daniel Day Lewis movie?

  • dear santa....

  • FUCK YOU WORMS!!! AAARRGHHHH!!!!

  • I do believe the original cofiguration was just fine. 1 vs 1 with this polymer and the wood original, the original would way out perform. Oh, one major thing about a bullpup is the charging handle needs to be on the operators side. Normally the forearm is gripped and trigger hand charges where with this you have to lean over and find the handle and charge over the top with your left hand. Seems like too much is going on and if the dirt was shooting back it would have you at that point.

  • I WANT TO KILL YOU WITH A RAKE YOU FUCK.

  • i could easily reload a regular sks with stripper clips in half the time... and i dont have to look down and half backward to do it

  • halo battle rifle??

  • @bowhunter42995 thats why there was a round deflector over the bolt so it doesnt go straight up

  • 2:30 what is this. i have never seen this shooting style. do any of you know what its called? it looks kinda pointless....but i don't know anything about it. the sks has a heck of a recoil, that would be really inaccurate.

  • 2:30......................what?

What are you doing?? TACTICAL MMMMMMMMCALLADUTYMMMMMMMM

  • looks like something with steyr

  • Sir! We're taking heavy fire from that dirt over there! We need backup now! Do you copy!?

  • looks like a bunch of queers to me.

  • Wow this video really is pure bullshit. "no modificatoins"? where the hell is the front sight block? Oh and reloading stripper clips into a "modern" firearm is beyond pointless. Did anyone notice how he only used a 10 rnd mag, its becuase the reload time would have been rediculous, and broken the propaganda spell this video is trying to cast. the recoil is still heavy compared to a modernized ak with a muzzle brake.

  • @fpsfug and did you notice how close his face was to the bolt. its practically right above it. i would be worried about ejected brass, or what would happen if something went completely wrong, and there goes your face.....but the main point is to show you how you can change an sks into a bullpup rifle. but i do find it pointless. there is another conversion that still has the front sight and i think it looks a little better

  • @bowhunter42995

Better yet dont even try to fire this left handed as the bolt would be eating your cheek off. This looks like a poor mans p90.

  • I love the SKS. I love bullpups. Great work guys.

  • I just received a response back today

  • The high cap mags can work. I have a Norinco with the Tapco Intrafuse stock and run both Tapco and Pro-Mag 20 rounders without any problems (even with surplus ammo).

  • thats a disgusting looking sks

  • it's california legal, right?

  • im digging the stripper clip reloads

  • Music is way over the top but for those of you complaining about the action being to close to the face an eye, take a look at that cover that flips up every time he is reloading. It also redirects the ejected case, not a bad design. Crappy triggers are common in just about every bullpup.

  • that honey badger dude roland should do a voice over for this vid

"whoo look, the tactical guy runs down hills, oh my it reloads fast, and check out his boonie, tactical dude is badass, he's got a bullpup , tactical dude dont give a shit "

  • Either this kit has problems or the actor was forgetting to take off the safety. He would pull the trigger several times before it fired. Re watch and you witll see.

  • The dirt is invading, hold the line. HOOLLDD THHEE LIIINEE!!!

    the rifle is nice though

  • @touge242 OH GOD THEY IT KEEPS COMMING!!. im going in! tell my wife I love her!!

  • I think I just had a gungasm!!

  • I have a Norinco early '60's model SKS, unmodified, and it's runs 100% reliably with Mag Pro 30 rnd. Mag. I've got 500+ rounds without a single failure to feed/fire/or eject running the cheapest surplus crap out there... Don't understand why everyone hates on the idea? Clean your gun!

  • See our new giraffe-friendly optics mounting system!

  • what advantages would i get out of a bullpup rifle ???

  • @50TNCSA

the shortened legnth and reduced recoil

the disadvantage is you won't really be able to point your gun around a corner with out exposing some of your torso like you can with regular rifle.

  • تحويل بندقية سيمونوف الى شتاير

    والله إنجاز

  • @AHMED1512008

    dude, i totally agree.

    i think??

  • This looks quite cool. I really like my sks with a wood stock but I wouldn't mind getting another and make it tacticool. And a bullpup stock would definitely do that. But does anyone on here know about bullpups and Canadian gun laws. Can I make an sks bullpup and use it in canada without a restricted liscence.

  • I have yet to find a bullpup conversion with a decent trigger mechanism no matter the rifle. Do you guys have a new idea or is it just a bunch of awkward linkage like the rest?

  • @LordRuckus Most bullpup kits use a wire or cable linkage between the re-positioned trigger and the original. These guys at least use a solid piece of metal for the linkage, which is better, but still not great. Street reviews on this piece suggest that while the trigger pull is alright, the trigger reset is pretty bad and practically eliminates the ability to rapid-fire if you're in a situation that needs it. I wish they would revise it to work in some kind of return spring for the new trigger.

  • Lol, what a dork, half the video shows him running like a girl, cool design bullpup but you better wear glasses or get powder in eye being so close to the ejecting cases

  • the guys outfit and the music made me laugh so hard

  • Looks really neat! I know I want one!

  • Cool idea. But I honestly rather stick with the original, to me it just looks great with the wood and all.

  • WTH? Will it not accept a detachable mag? 10 rounds at a time will not work in a tactical situation.

  • @Sabretoothkiller

SKS' just really dont like hi cap mags, unless its one of the models built to take AK mags. About the highest cap you can manage with any sort of reliability is the Tapco 20 rounders.

  • @Sabretoothkiller its still better than pokeing a stick. Make your shots count. The bull pup concept makes sense in close quarter urban warfare senarios where your swing room may be liimited in tight quarters. Also its a cheaper alternative to the real deal bullpups. Ive never used this product but can see the benifits if the rig runs good. more mag capacity is good but practice with what you got. The guy was reloading fast

  • You shoot that soil!

  • Looks like the stock was modeled after an AUG

  • IS there any Force in the world who still uses SKS?

  • @3klo

I think the Chinese navy still use them as parade rifles, but I could be wrong. Regardless, they are awesomely cheap and reliable weapons.

  • @3klo

I think the Chinese navy still use them as parade rifles, but I could be wrong. Regardless, they are awesomely cheap and reliable weapons.

  • Fast and easy reload, nice handle..

    mmm sexy stuff

  • The reloading looks really awkward.

  • i gotta admit SKS is good, but it would be better if it had lesser recoil, its much more significant than SAR 21

  • I think the kit would look nicer with the front stock going out a bit further to act as a barrel shroud. That long barrel sticking out like that looks fragile and unbalanced... Just aesthetically speaking...

  • Where given updating SKS is developed?

  • The question is, HOW TO CLEAN IT?

Should I take off everything after each shooting ?

  • @truesightgrabber stick it in the dishwasher what you think?

  • The song is dramatic

  • Thats the way guns ought to be fired. How ever when ever I go shooting I never have more then one magazine or striper clip so its always one bullet at a time by hand.

  • noice

  • what a faggot

  • why dose he run down the hill 5 times before he shoots???

  • @hunteraja The gun jammed the first 4 times he ran down

  • You do not want your face that close to the chamber of an SKS. Its not uncommon for them to vent some gas back in your face now and then. I get it in the eyes once in a while with a regular stock. This would just suck.

  • yeah im so COOL!

  • KILL THAT DIRT! KILL IT!

  • @nicknuke7 How can you kill that which is already dead? o_0

  • @AAV47 overkill.....

  • my sks is a short paratroop version where the barrel only goes 3 in past the gas tube, should it still work with this kit?

  • everyone is thinking this so im just gonna say it halo rifle

  • very nice

  • I am going to die of anticipation waiting for this thing!!!

  • @LoboLoco8908 its garbage i heard from like half the owners

  • halo battle rifle?

  • I think this is freaking cool!

  • I don't like the idea of the action being that close to my face, it kind of bugs me in it's normal position already... The SKS is still a formidable weapon in medium (100 yards) and close ranges.

  • Usually I curse the videos that turds put up on youtube that relate to weapons. Your video is by far the best I've seen regarding the SKS. This vid is number one in my book. Replays never get old. Thank you.

  • I officially love this conversion.

By the way, what's the name of the song or songs you used in this video?

  • Clever design, brilliant innovation, but it still has the accuracy of a SKS. If it takes you 3 months to save the $500 or more you'll need to put one of these together, you can save for a whole year and buy a real bullpup that will have several times greater accuracy and performance. After all, you're going to wait a year to get your bullpup stock from SG Works, as they are likely using money from current orders to build last year's orders. The more you know...

  • @mikedudewtf

You assume that people are going to go out, buy and SKS and then covert it. For people such as myself that purchased SKS'es when they were under $100 a pop, its a pretty decent value. Is it a be-all end-all? No. If I were to spend $500+ on a 7.62, there are many more competent platforms. But for hand-me-downs and surplus buys over a decade ago, its a nice design for a decent price.

  • The music and the way the guy reloads the gun makes the video feel like its from metal gear solid....snake

  • Look It's JEFF GORDON!!!!!

  • This is pretty kickass for what it is. I don't know much about the SKS platform, but I would like to see if you could use a standard AK magazine to speed up reload times. I'm sure you've thought about this already, but it's just a suggestion.

  • i dont think i would shoot it cause i would probably put my hand on the barrel sorry just way to small

  • Looks interesting, but I'd have an issue with the reloading process... It takes entirely too long. Don't they make magazine conversion kits for the sks? I'd try to incorporate that into the design

  • Reloading a bullpup rifle with a stripper clip, LOL. It's like it's futuristic and turn-of-the-last-century at the same time. I like it.

  • I hate bullpups. I know all the reasons and advantages to the configuration, and I've even shot a few, but when all is said and done, a coventional set up works best for me. I'm still interested, I still look 'em over, wondering if one day I'll like one, but not likely. oh well...

  • you cuold've left the harry potter sound effects out. really...

  • You are the Lord of WAR

  • Looks better than some other conversions I've seen. In reality though, would you be tossing away your strippers? Just like magazines, when you've run through all your ammo and have tossed your magazines, now you're gonna load your toy one round at a time. Unless of course, you have an endless supply of strippers stashed somewhere.

  • lol....

This video is bullshit. Instead of actually reviewing the gun, I just hear some dramatic music, and a retard running around trying to act badass.

  • This would be a awesome setup if only the sight rail wasn't so high off the rifle taking away from the accuracy.

  • is this legal in kalifornia?

  • The guy does not use cover correctly at 2:12

  • How much faster is it to load the bullup with a stripper clip compared to a magazine?

  • nice stripper clip reloading

  • I wonder how many times the camera man said, "please don't shoot me!" while this was filmed.

  • There is a simple mod to make your SKS a side ejection rather than an upward ejecting action. The upward trajectory is caused by the angled transition at the rear of the ejection port - if this is ground vertical, the shells eject sideways rather than upwards. Takes 20 mins, a dremel and a bit of bluing.

  • what music is that in the intro?

  • Looks good...But how much is it?

  • @kop4321 $199 with a 4 month wait.

  • that's a pretty crazy conversion, i'm personally not a fan of the bullpup look but i'm sure it suits some folks out there.

i lold when i saw he was just shooting at dirt with the dramatic music :P

  • Normally I hate over-tacticooling of guns... But this is pretty cool

  • OMG This is THE coolest modification for any gun transformation I have ever seen!!!!

  • not so slow than I thought

  • Old school clips...LOL

  • the reload is way too slow....

  • Whats the trigger pull like? has it made it heavier, or just the same as it was before?

  • This video is a little over done, but this weapon system should not be overlooked. Perfect for states with AWB or if you want a carbine thats 50 state legal. This would be useful for in vehicle defense, or a neighborhood watch in a dangerous neighborhood. Because for normal people who are not cops, security, or military, if you need more then 10 rounds to defend yourself, your fucked!

  • so what parts are still from the SKS rifle? barrel and trigger mech?

  • wonder if this setup works with a 30 shot clip..hmmm.

  • @tipusultan6 Well that all depend on whether or not you have a 30 round magazine to load it into, now doesn't it?

  • @tipusultan6 or with the sks variant that take ak mags

  • Comment removed

  • @tipusultan6 magazine

  • @tipusultan6 "MAGAZINE" !!! It's called a "MAGAZINE" !!! An enclosed "box" which holds cartridges is a "MAGAZINE". A "clip" is what an M1 Garand uses. A "stripper clip" is what you see in this vid at 1:45 and 1:58 and 2:48, etc. etc.......and those are used to fill a "MAGAZINE" (in this case, an "internal box magazine". Learn your nomenclature, folks. It really makes a difference, and people who "know" firearms will think more highly of you if you get it right. You may thank me now. XD

  • @tipusultan6 Didnt know they made 30 shot clips... oh 30 round magazines. Why do so many people call magazines clips? I know you can load this rifle with a stripper clip, but not familiar with a 30 round one. haha just busting your balls :) but seriously.

  • @TNPerPunknEater Fuckoff TnPerPunkfucker, i'm sick of you soldiers of fiction sitting in your lazyboy pretending to know it all. i made a stupid mistake and said clip instead of magazine. so what. I've been shooting for 30 years and have over 40 guns, grew up in montana and can shoot a quarter at 100 yards with open sites. i know the ends and outs of all of them. i outshot a special forces marksman 2 years ago with my ar15, so keep your mouth shut.

  • @TNPerPunknEater F*ckoff TnPerPunkfucker, i'm sick of you soldiers of fiction sitting in your lazyboy pretending to know it all. i made a stupid mistake and said clip instead of magazine. so what. • @tipusultan6

What's a 30 round clip? Do you mean magazine?

  • @tipusultan6 No sks works with a 30 round clip dude. The 30 rounders that they make for them are complete crap. Stick to the nondetachable ten

  • @MurderByFluoride I'm sad and your keyboard is covered in dried semen? I love your logic. You must get laid constantly.

  • @MurderByFluoride I wrote to you prior to this i hope you read it... But i just noticed how you spelled Intelligence "inteligence" haha Irony.

  • @MurderByFluoride First of all what the hells a matter with you? Secondly you're an idiot a rifle chambered in .308 is technically a battle rifle. but thats semantics and i dont really care about semantics. and I put a question mark which is signifying a question which is me saying correct me if i'm wrong. Third, why are you so disgruntled? Are you bored and/or off the meds? Seriously?? I've seen CETME .308's and they look like g3's which apparently is vice versa. But anyway you're crazy i think

  • @MurderByFluoride okay champ CETME .308's are .30 cal but they have about a quarter mor casing behind them. So naturally the CETME .308 (g3 clone right?) is going to be heavier. And seriously what was the arguement here?

  • I really like the stock but this guy shoots like an idiot

  • Woah jesus christ.

I cannot contain my orgasms, this is fucking awesome!

  • thats a daring move u made there, this is much more useful than the original

  • i dont know why im still watching this!? its so cheesy

  • i have to say thats impressive i mean i hate bull pups with a passion but what the hell it at least looks cool

  • yes you are right when you go to battle you would have a loaded mag the comment i made about the box being thrown out of a duece an 1/2 was not during a fire fight it was when we first got there. regardless of the box they all come in stripper clips these days and in that box they gave us they were on stripper clips but you need an adapter to fit on the magazine. which was rare to see in the field. but who even cares about stripper clips i wouldn't buy this stupid gun cause i don't like sks

  • @coreycochran95

I question your experience because every box of ammo I've ever got has adapters in there along with the rounds on stripper clips. everyone i know was smart enough to snag one or two and stick it somewhere on their LBV or somewhere on their person. your wasting time loading mags one by one. just my experience and two cents.

  • we didn't have boxes of ammo when i went to iraq it was in bulk either in a large box we called brass tubs or buckets we called brass buckets and loading one by one did suck we asked for stripper clips but we never got them. you can question my experience if you want but i know what i know just because your experience was different doesn't mean everyones was the same.

  • @coreycochran95 didnt you get extra mags?

  • @traceradam yeah we were supplied with 210 rounds of ammo which is 7 mags 6 mags in our LBE and 1 in our weapon that is a standard combat load but when we arrived to iraq we had 7 empty mags because you can't take ammo on to commercial flights. when we arrived to kuwait we loaded our magazines before we flew to iraq helicopter. when ever we needed ammo in iraq we went to our armory and used brass buckets. when we came back to kuwait we dropped our ammo in brass buckets.

  • i think the FN should adapt the P90 to become a rifle, but still have similar operational parts. that way, the empty case comes out the bottom of the gun

  • would be cool if i was right handed so the bolt doesn't fuck my face up

  • @wraith509 It is right handed

  • That bolt hand 'gon take your face away.

  • wow, a muzzle break would have made things a lot easier.

  • Am I the only one who likes the SKS as is. It seems everyone who buys one wants to turn it into an AK, AR or what ever the hell this thing is. I think a stock SKS is a BEAUTIFUL thing!

  • @RiverSolitaire

SKS's are a awesome, almost flawless weapon. but they are so cheap "I got mine for 100 bucks" that it's a easy and practical decision to mod and convert these to the owners preference. I still have one brand new in the box, never to be shot unless I find an awesome excuse to. Mod one for hunting, one for home defense, one for plinking and keep one classic and you'll still come out cheaper than a lot of decked out rifles.
