She's ENGLISH!!! Born in Cambridge, England. She only spent a little time in Oz before returning to England as a teenager. Couldn't wait to get back. She was then discovered by Bruce Welch of Cliff Richard & The Shadows who introduced her to Robert Stigwood. So thank England, mate.

Olivia grew up in Autralian. Spent 13 years there and a total of 13 in England. She moved to the US in 1975 and has lived there for 28 of the last 33 years. The other 5 years she lived in Australia in the 90's. She has remained a citizen of Australia since 1956. She lives in Oz 3-4 months every year near in Byron Bay. Her career/relationships has kept her in California. If it pleases you, I'll thank the entire Commonwealth for the gift of Livvy. Best of luck, Mate.

Touchy aren't we? I'm merely correcting you on her heritage and career path. If her parents hadn't immigrated to Oz when she was 5 the only thing that would of been different about her would of been her accent! It was a career move to stick with the Oz thing due to there not being many international Oz celebrities therefore it made her standout amongst all the English and now US talent. Nothing to correct. She is Australian. She has the accent. She was raised there. She got her musical break there, she is a citizen. She lives part of every year there. She owns businesses there. Her Cancer Center is being built there. Even if OZ only played a small role in her development, I thank Australia. A wonderful nation and people. Actually, there was that group Exile which had a hit with "Kiss You All Over"--then later in the 1980's they went straight country.
