I love where Ronnie says "Just to show you what pros we are, we're gonna do it without sheet music or cue cards". LOL. Blind men can't cheat on that one! It's amazing how many songs they have each memorized without those, and the number of instruments Ronnie plays.
A rare performance from two of America's all-time music legends. Ronnie is a real class act, giving Ray those words of praise and kindness while sharing the stage with his hero. Ray was a huge influence on Ronnie in his early years and this must have been a dream come true for him.
@REALCOUNTRY2009: It's from April 1983...the CMA did a TV special celebrating the 25th anniversary of it's 1958 founding and this was one of the performances from that special. There are other performances uploaded from this same program. Ray Stevens and Loretta Lynn perform Patsy Cline songs on this program, too...and when this show was taped (presumably March 1983) it was the 20th anniversary of the plane crash that took the lives of Patsy Cline and several others.
i would like to hear more of these two to gether if any one has any to post i would love it thank

I love everything that Ronnie has done, and with the man who first gave him
encouragement when he was told to go to law school. Love him!!!
