  • Some really lovely examples of American Classics, paint jobs look amazing on some ! We have t a good few in our club in UK, but they are becoming more expensive to run with petrol (gas) at ubout £5.50p per gallon an dalways on the up. I recon they are more expensive to run than a Rolls Royce here ;-)

One chap in our club has fitted burners like "The Batmobile", looks and sounds great. it's on one of our videos if you fancy a look.

  • im so old in my mind. Im 13 and knew about 95% of these cars. These and my 1962 ranchero are real cars made of full american metal not some cheap chinese plastic like today!

  • These cars are what made America and American Made. Most of them anyway...

I see that stray Jaguar. My biggest car was a 1963 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible

    over 21 feet long. David

  • Wish I had been there, very cool video, thanks for posting this nice variety of cool cars. Cars today are mundane, shaped like boxes with no visual appeal. Autos built prior to the mid 70's are a joy to look at, not so much the newer models. THREE VIDEO SUGGESTIONS: 1: cruisin' in coldwater 2: capri mustang 40th and 3: parade of oldsmobiles at 100 THANK YOU

  • the cars should have been restricted to pre '62 American cars. C'mon, really, a '64 Chev wagon low rider? Brit cars? wtf?

  • Excellent classic car video!

  • You should all come to Sweden. xD Power big meet

  • What should I do if I want to make replicas?

  • @sluggo06 You can start by raising a small fortune and then lose it trying to get into a field that is already saturated.

  • @everythinguwanted lol, what about just restoration work?

  • @sluggo06 Move to california if you want steady work. Watch the program on TLC or Discovery Channel called "OverHauling". Chip Foose is like the grand wizard of that field, also an older guy (Something) Boyd. You can get an idea whether you'd like that kind of work. You pretty much have to learn one of the restoration crafts, so if your not already a craftsman in that field, it'll mean starting at the bottom in a shop and working your way up, which MANY have done. It's a pride thing!

  • Comment removed

  • @sluggo06 BTW, I looked at your channel and I'm impressed and interested in your selections. I'll be back.

  • @everythinguwanted thank you very much for that. I'll have to check the show out. im trying to restore a 1960 cadillac ambulance hearse

  • @sluggo06 Wow, that's a lot of square feet to cover. How much money are you willing to put into it? Gonna keep it or sell it? Parts? Hows the engine, running? A Foose restoration of that hearse would probably run between 40-$50,000. But you probably aren't looking for that so I'd consider redoing all the chrome, paint and bring the engine up to speed. In stages! Then you can work on the interior. OR just drive as is and enjoy all the stares. You might get an offer for it on the street.

  • @everythinguwanted im willing to put in as much as it takes i guess. just in small spurts. i plan on keeping it. it has nearly everything under the hood. the engine dont run but i am planning on getting it rebuilt. my two main concerns right now are the frame and engine.

  • @sluggo06 Are you trained in engine repair. Do you have a garage/workspace to work in? Is the frame bent? Crash? Man, if you dont have some connections in the mechanic world or are one yourself, you are looking at a big job. I don't know what's on the YT OverHaulin vids, but if you can watch a whole episode where they take an old rusty piece of junk and turn it into a show car, you can get an idea how much work goes into restoration. Wish I could help more, but restoration is not my field.

  • @everythinguwanted i plan on taking classes for working on cars. and as for mechanics, the ones around town dont seem like they wanna work on the car. they say they will and never do. :(

  • @sluggo06 Are you paying them? Why would'nt they want to work on it, I don't understand.

  • @everythinguwanted no they havent seen a nickel of my money. Yeah, its wierd that they dont wanna make money on it. i assume my old caddy would be easier than a modern car.

  • @sluggo06 Has any mechanic looked at the car and given any opinion about it's condition? A mechanic in a regular fix-it place is not going to want to fool with it 'cause they make their money on volume...get 'em in, move 'em out. Your caddy would just be taking up space and providing no revenue. If you are dead serious about this, your gonna have to pull the engine and take it to a restoration guy, maybe out of town. Get an estimate on what it will set you back to bring it to operational state.

  • @sluggo06 Then you'll have to repeat the process with the tranny and tow the thing to a frame shop, have the wiring checked out, this is probably gonna take you 5-10 years of your life, unless you have a fat wallet. i'm gonna pm you a message, it will show up in your inbox, ok?

  • @sluggo06 Type this in the search box: "overhaulin chip foose" (no quotes). You can learn a lot just by watching these episodes.

  • @everythinguwanted thank you

  • Buying an old car is stupid, and wrong. Look at it this way. Would you go to an old peoples home and date an old woman from that home if you were 25 years old? FUCK NO... Well it's the same with old cars, leave them in the past. Buy a new car. And an other thing, the money they spent to do up these old wrecks is farr more than a new car, so set your life on the right road. Buy a new car, new cars are like cheer leaders, sexy, hot, and young, not an old hagg. News cars are always better.

  • @macktheknife888 That's the 2nd most ignorant remark I've ever seen on YouTube. Using your absurd logic, we should have euthanized YOU nine years ago because you had hit 30 yo and who wants a 30yo sucking up the precious O2 leftover from the next idiot's comment. You people are so brainwashed by the moveon.org, huffingtonpost, Bill Mahr, Nancy-Harry-Obama crowd that your willing to take the whole damn country down with your sorry asses. You're just pathetic!

  • @everythinguwanted dare i ask what was the first?

  • @sluggo06 LOLOL, it took me a while sluggo, but when it dawned on me what you were asking, i had a great laugh...thanks man. There have been so many, let me get back to you on that one.

  • @macktheknife888 Ladies, care to chime in?? Sexism in the 21 Century....some things just never get old!

  • @macktheknife888 but old cars a works of art

  • @sluggo06 That's a matter of opinion.

  • @macktheknife888 yeah i know. but there awesome

  • attention old school vehicle fans all the these vehicles u see all around you will be so gone i mean that 177,000,000 of any vehicle runs on co2 greenhouse gas will be gone this is gunna be the final years you get to see them and the fuel be very clean and better so soon in the future so long to old junks and hello Future vehicles better than the ones from the 20th century.

  • @mquiroz90 And you have your head so far up Al Gore's ass you cant see the forrest from the trees.

  • @everythinguwanted idk wat the heck that means but i guess so so much for u to say but i have a good point

  • @mquiroz90 What's you're point? Quote:"all the these vehicles u see all around you will be so gone i mean that 177,000,000 of any vehicle runs on co2 green-house gas will be gone this is gunna be the final years you get to see them and the fuel be very clean and better so soon." You're an 18yo barely educated hick who is pontificating on how the CO2 is going to force classic cars off the road and you can't even put those thoughts into a proper sentence that conveys your belief.

  • @mquiroz90 Where did you get the idea that "fuel will be better soon and very clean" I mean who the heck taught you that lie? BTW, if there are 177,000,000 vehicles out there that run on CO2 greenhouse gas as you suggest, there would hardly be any reason to get them off the road. Justin Bieber for president, Yeah!!!!

  • @everythinguwanted hmm sure watever its not a lie it will be true your mind is different wat ur saying is crap so yea co2 be replaced with something else and your just a old man too better fuel and better future bye now

  • @mquiroz90 Where did you go to school? Did they let you graduate?

  • @everythinguwanted just high school and duh i do

  • @mquiroz90 Duh you do what?

  • @everythinguwanted nevermind look all i know is that you wont see the old vehicles that long so yea

  • This one's a keeper! Great video! Thank you for sharing it. Excellent choice NOT to add a soundtrack as it allows the viewers to hear what these cars really sounded like when the engines were running. I loved this! :)

  • these are cars, screw hybrids!

  • American cars are the best classics! we need to keep it thet way!!!

  • They so need to allow cruising back on McHenry Av. and not downtown, in the derelict district, and much ♥ for all the illegal drag racing on Paradise road, MPD! }:)

  • Very nice cars - a dream!

  • payday loans, checks cashed.

  • Paradise

  • whats the car at :35?

  • Nice cars but the cruise itself is a little stale. Yawn.

  • ha esto yo le llamo coches son el verdarero orgullo americano.

  • but they're beautiful

  • what a fucking dumbass. youre shitty imports handle better than these cars not because theyre imports, but because theyre new. these cars are anywhere from 40 to 90 yrs old. the technology back then sucked, i'd like to see how 1932 imports handled. oh wait, you dont see any because theyre all worthless shit.

also, new american cars handle just as good if not better than new imports. dont compare somehting with a 50 yr age difference, dumbass. get a life.

  • dont mind mk2zakspeed, he is talking out his arse.

  • i have to say, as much as i would hate to be running one of those, they are beautifull, and what a sound they make. If oil didn cause the trouble it, my car would have a v8!

  • dont be daft. most petrol engines can be converted to LPG gas which is half the price of petrol and is more plentiful.

i run my 3.0 litre diesel on vegetable oil with no modifications, this is a renewable fuel - it grows on a farm!

BMW are now making a V12 which runs on hydrogen which can be extracted from water, and combusts to produce water.

old diesel trucks are the way forward with vegetable oil as a fuel. (doesnt have to be veg oil, can be any old cooking oil thats cheap.)

  • I live in ireland, LPG can't be got here. I run my passat on vegtable too, but its no petrol v8....

  • out of interest whats the price per litre of veg over there? in uk it used to be half the price of diesel but now everyone uses it its almost the same price :/

you can get diesel V8s. not sure if they can run on veg but they are monsterous torquey engines.

  • Good vege oil is about about 20-25 cent behind diesel, but again its hard to get, alot of the companies making it here will assign every litre they make to haulage or cab comapanies so the domestic user rely has to rely on petroleum products.

Its a shame, but over here v8's aint for the working man...

  • you dont need good veg oil. just buy brand new cooking oil, the cheapest you can possibly get. dont buy biodiesel.

in england we have found that if you mix 1 litre turps (white spirit) per every 15 litres of veg oil this prevents the rubber seals shrinking and helps on colder mornings. for temps less than 10c you need a higher mix of diesel to veg. i buy from asda and fill up in the car park, or a petrol garage. get some strange looks but its ok.

  • you obviously have no idea, and no appreciation for classic items. i think the whole of america feels sorry for you for your unfortunate lack of appreciation and desire.

  • wow,,,just fuckin wow!!!!

  • who the heck is the lady screaming like a freaking monkey, she needs to shut up!

  • American Cars !

  • does anyone know the car at 2:23?

  • it looks like a 56 ford

  • its a 57 buick

  • looks like a chevy 210

  • FUCK the totoyoyo hybread...GAS ur up...Listen to the sound...nothin like it from a toeyoto

  • What's the car at 1:57?

  • Hey! Little Canadian Boy! What you are looking at is "Ambulatoy ART"! So,Scoot your little Toy Hybrid over the border and get lost! That T.H. of yours is, and will never be considered "ART" in any catagory!

  • The American Dream is:I have a friend who is from Armenia. His dad had always thought "if I ever go to America I want to have a 62 Caddy". Fifteen yrs ago they moved to America. Six months ago my friend bought that 62 Caddy for his dad. He made his fathers dream come true. Now they spend time together going to car clubs and restoring that car with love and determination. Now THAT'S an "American Dream" come true.

  • Fucking american dream CUNT. All you lot do is dream about is wanking off to gay porn. YOU FUCKING CUNT.

  • HELLO... DR2626. when people from Europe travel to USA or Canada it's not to see some gay Toyota Prius.. it's to see some real american iron made cars.

  • What is the name of the website? Do they send to European countries too?
