@GinerbreadReindeer have an iMac -Firstly create a folder on yr desktop like this guy says. THE best place to find MIDIs is here Youtube! Just type Midi in the search space - most people share (click on "Show More" if u can't see the midi file under their vid). Right click on the link "Save link as" make sure it's a .mid file and choose "Open with Synthesia" and save it in the folder u created. When u click on the midi file it should open in Synthesia automatically

@johnytwotimes1 yes i did! It doesn't matter if it isn't clicked. You just press "play" then select your chosen song as normal - on the bottom right it says "continue". At the top it will say WATCH AND LISTEN ONLY. "FOLLOW ALONG ON YOUR OWN." click that and then you are done.

god DAMNIT! theres nothing that helps my problem! in the Keyboard setup theres no "No input: play as your own" option... nobody has anything to help fix this, so can someone seriously please help me (P.S i cant use MIDI Drivers for my keyboard because i have a keyboard from a company called First Act and they dont have a MIDI Driver program. so DO NOT suggest that because no drivers work for me)

You don't need to have the "No input: play as your own", it is exactly the same if you don't have that option and just go with the synthesia software keyboard.

If you have an ancient keyboard that isn't compatible with synthesia and you desperately want to use it, the only option is to get a new keyboard.

I've got my new PSR E333, pretty cheap, has a nice sound and you don't need to download any drivers.

It's all common sense, really.

That's what I was telling you...

If you plug in your keyboard it may very well work, just go and select it as an input AFTER you have plugged it in, I have no idea why you are having trouble, when I first got synthesia I figured it all out after 10 minutes on my own, and I had only just started the keyboard too.
