  • can all snakes swim??

  • yes all snakes can swim some much better than others.

    Cheers Rob

  • Rob....love your enthusiasm and passion for wildlife...hope it catches on and spreads to many others. Thank You for your important work!

  • Cool I think I seen a small tree snake in the city of Ontario where I live first time I seen a snake here in 20 years.

  • can red belly balck snakes kill you

  • Black snakes (red belly) can kill but they are rated very low on the deadly scale from what I can make out about 100th deadliest in the world.

However the bite can be very painfull and can cause loss of finfgers etc through gangrene. They cause bleeding and necrosis.

But on the whole are quite placid snakes, they can make good pets.

    Cheers Rob

  • What wonderfully facinateing creatures i would to work with reptiles when i get older keep doing what your doing rob!

  • R u dead from a snake bite

  • I'd love to give him (snake) a buckshot shampoo !

  • I could die if it absorbs AHAHAHAHAHA. lmao love it.

  • I find that you are the best presenter of them all on youtube, when comes to looking at snakes. You have a good friendly and informative manner.

  • if we dont find somthing to kill the cain toad with, will have no snakes or lizards left in australia

  • Not true... The cane toad has been in Queensland since 1935 that’s 75 years and Queensland is still full of snakes and lizards. In fact I have personally seen goannas, tree snakes, death adders and black snakes come back with a vengeance, 20 odd years after being devastated by the toads near Tully.

    Cheers Rob

  • @RobBredl Not just snakes.Skin toxins from adult cane toads are known to be lethal for at least 27 terrestrial vertebrate species, and eggs and tadpoles are known to be highly toxic to many aquatic invertebrates, some fish species and many frog species Nine native mammal species, many frog-eating snakes, and large varanids are known to die after ingesting or mouthing cane toads. it will be devastating, and there will be many cascading consequences for the many ecosystems of the Kimberley .

  • Sadly most people under estimate the true power of the natural world, yes cane toads devastate wildlife on first contact but very much like bacteria it develops resistance rather quickly to attack. Cane toads have in fact become a food source to much of the wildlife it once killed. One would think “how come there are any Kookaburras left if they are so devastating?” Cheers Rob

  • @RobBredl Can I come to Australia and give you a Hugg?? Thanks so very much for what you do and for educating the world on our natural world.
