@fridgeman05 I take it you didn't watch the Bronze Bully round on Bullseye on ITV many years ago?
Whether the players really meant it or not can be debated but a lot of greats walked onto the Bullseye stage and would throw average darts because the pressure is on them to score big.
224 is a fairly decent score considering the first 3 poor darts.
Difficult to get a good score in this round because it's a different kind of pressure. You're not playing against anything, you're just trying to hit a good score in front of an audience. Plus he wouldn't have done all that many exhibitions at this stage in his career. He did pretty well considering. Never looked like threatening Bristow's record, though (I think that's about 380 or something).

To be fair klassen still darting like this 2day, Which is why he struggling in pdc. Consistency is needed in pdc, not the Bdo!
