  • 1. eating 3 healthy meals, drinking 2 liters of water, no soda

    2. Because most of the time I eat one meal a day and snack on chips and drink lots of soda

    3. I'm gonna start making my own meals and buy a lunch box for Uni. I'll keep a water bottle with me in all times.

Goal number 2: I would like to exercise 3 times a week.

I'm going to make a chart so I can trace how well I do.

    I looove your videos!!!

Thanks for accepting me on facebook,

  • 1. Eat two pieces of fruit every day!

    2. Because I tend to eat my calories every day in little snack foods like gummies and things instead of fruit or vegetables. I want to start consuming my calories in a healthier way.

    3. How? Umm, well im tracking with the Lose it! app, so thats how ill know im doing it every day. And that also answers the assignment, im using the Loseit! app :) Yay!

  • Comment response this time. :p

    1. My goal is to workout 4 days each week (45-60 minutes of cardio, and a light strength training routine on 3 of those 4 days).

    2. I chose this goal because exercise is the biggest factor in my weight loss success and overall well being. It has also been helping me lessen my anxiety. :D

    3. I will make sure I get my workouts done early in the day, like before lunch, so I don't make the excuse of being "too tired" to workout.

    4. Calendar.

    Love your goals, good luck!

  • @SingingNurseKristie Great goals! I am joining too, I'm not really doing H4H anymore but am going to make a final video the last week of it to report in. This is more my speed - I need to focus on small changes right now. Hope you're doing well!

    2. because i consume a lot of food when bored, stressed, not paying attention and I'm sick of wearing it!

    3. When I'm hungry, I sit down with my food at the table with cutlery(!) and make sure there's no tv, radio, reading matter, close my eyes and chewwwww sllllowwwwwwwwwwwly. Stop when I'm full. my clothes are looser already :)

    4. I write how I get on in my diary in the evening, remembering NOT to just note the failures

  • @mollabob Oops! Crap! I'm such a grammar/spelling nerd, too. X___x

  • not gonna eat after 6 and im not drinking any soda or fast food :)

  • 1. I want to eat 3 meals a day and exercise 3 days a week,

    2. I want to get into a good mindset and habit system.

    3. I am going to make time for myself and use my 'me' time to exercise and follow through with my goal!!

  • Took me 2 days thus far to realize that being too busy is not a reason to miss meals...then I end up eating twice as much! Wednesday is a new day, and it will be a good one :)

  • 1. Walking. 5 min day 1. 10 mins. day 2, etc... upto 30 mins a day.

    2. Walking will help me get stronger. After my injury I became weak. It will be hard and I'm starting over because on day 2 I was on meds and slept the entire day. Tomorrow the 22nd will be my day 1.

    3. After a smoothie for breakfast, I will walk around the neighborhood. Once I'm up to 30 mins a day, I will walk along the local path at the creek where I live.

  • Great video! Never heard of the 28 day challenge, glad I found it! We're subbing! <3 - The busy baby mamas

  • antishay Thanks for explaining about the videos and 240P and such. I was not aware of the info you gave me and much appreciate it :)

  • would you ever consider creating a channel about personal financing? i just love you sooo much!

  • My goal is to start working up to a running program. I am really overweight, but exercise regularly. Found a program that starts slowly.

I want to start running because it is a great burns fat and develops lean muscle which will help me get healthier. I have a calendar on my wall that I use to track all my exercise, what days I work out and what I do. I picked the days that I work out the most and those are dedicated to running training. I also am looking for a workout buddy to keep motivated.

  • i found an excellent app on iphone which i love, its called waterlogged which logs your water intake, i have been using it for the last three weeks and iv hit my target almost 90% of the time. chek it owt, such a good motivator!!

  • What is your goal?

To remember to take my medication everyday.

    Why is this your goal?

To improve my levels of happiness and motivation so I am closer to other goals.

How will you execute this goal?

    Reminder notes LoL.. everywhere :)

  • I would love to join this challenge however I'm already finding H4H too demanding and I'm falling behind :(

    Good Luck Everyone :)

  • 1. To prepare a menu every night for the next day including fixing a lunch and snacks for quick grab in the morning. 2. This will help me stay within calorie limits and not get overly hungry during the day. 3. I will write down my menu and prepare food. 4. I will chart this goal with an indicator band on my food/calorie daily log.

  • I'm joining nooww :)

1.To eat between 1200-1500 calories a day and maintain my exercise routine.

2.You said it. If calories in is less than calories out, I'll lose weight :)

    3. To eat 100 calorie snacks after breakfast and have an actual meal at dinner and replace unhealthy stuff with more fruit and veg.

    4. I'm calorie counting and recording my progress on a calender giving myself stars like you do [:

  • Antishay please keep the option of 240 P for watching videos. I have slow internet :(

  • @150memyselfandi I have always uploaded in HQ - youtube make it lower qualities after it has processed for (something like) 12 hours. It should be available at some point - I don't know how long it takes, but again that's not something I can control without just uploading low-quality videos to begin with. Thanks for understanding.

  • 1. My goal is to drink a green smoothie everyday 2. I will be getting all of the nutrients I need to feel healthy and energetic 3. I plan to have my blender and supplements set out and ready to use each morning. Love this challenge!

  • 1-Cardio 5 times a week

2-To loose weight so that I can fit into my wedding dress

3-I am setting aside time a night to get on my treadmill for 20 minutes. (Which means less time on the computer.)

4-I have created a calendar. Every time I do cardio for at least 20minutes, I will write an "O" on that day.

  • Do you drink water while or after eating?

I heard that it's slowing down your digestion.

  • What happened to BTYL?

  • @ua2011 They stopped doing it quite awhile ago but all their videos are still up.

  • @ua2011 we took a break. keep your eyes open for it though ;)

  • 1. drink 65 oz of water per day

    2. to get better skin and get more energy

    3. I am going to use my chart to help me. by calculating the water i drink, and drink water

    4. I made a chart

  • will be making my video soon and if I don't get it up tonight it will be up tomorrow for sure thanks again for this challenge today has been good better then the last few days.

  • 1) 90 ounces of water a day

    2) I'm always dehydrated and am aware of the importance of water in weight loss. Also, if I drink a ton of water, it gets rid of my hunger pains long enough to prepare a healthy meal or snack and not just reach for anything.

    3) 30 oz at 5:00am, 30 oz at 9:30 am, 30 oz at 2:30 pm. I have a green glass that is 15 oz that I will fill up 6 times a day. Also, I'm scheduling it into my day as well.

    4) I'm tracking it with stickers on my calendar

  • Shanti, those are great goals! I wish you lots of luck!! I am participating in my own way because I have been busy lately. I will not be making videos but I will be putting a check mark on my calendar for each day I achieve my goal. My goal is to get to sleep before 2:00 am every day for two weeks of the challenge and then 12:00 am for the other two weeks. I believe that getting myself back into a healthy sleeping pattern will aid in my weight loss goals. I will do this by watching the time...

  • @LisaGou

...making sure that a half hour before 2:00 am I will start preparing for bed (washing up, brushing teeth, hair, pj's, etc.). I will make a video at the end of the challenge showing my star calendar! <3 You are so inspiring, Shanti...keep it up!! ~XoX~ Sending you lots of love, light, joy and positivity!!

  • My goal is to do the 30 day shred level 1 at least 4 times a week. (preferably everyday). I'm going to use my calender to check off everyday I exercise. And I want to eat healthier, today I did my grocery for the week and bought lots of healthy food. I made some gazpacho and I'm going to limit my sugary foods intake. My big problem is craving food, I've gotten used to eating something sweet after every meal, so now I'm going to replace ice cream and granola bars with apples and strawberries.

  • en route to my 5K, I promise to run more, faster, and finish the race - Oct 3, 2010!

  • I would like to participate in the 28 day challenge. I will post a response video tomorrow hopefully. My goal is to drink at least 51 oz of water a day.

Thanks for your videos and have a great week cleaning.

  • 1. Eat only when I am hungry.

    2. Will help me eat less because I won't be picking at food between meals and I will get an idea of how much I really need to eat in a day.

    3. I am going to eat small (smaller than normal) meals three times a day and always have a little snack with me so if I get hungry I won't overeat at the next meal. Tracking will be mainly by the scale and the way I feel/look.

  • Diana M. from FB.

    1. Eliminate (or drastically cut back on) the sugar/candy/sweets habit.

    2. Will help with lowering my daily calorie intake, and with mindless eating. Oh and that annoying craving for sweets after I eat.

    3. No added sugar to beverages, no soda and not reaching into the candy bowl, cookie jar at work just because it's there. Need to find a replacement for the 3pm drop in blood sugar.

  • just post my goals to fb! good luck to you and everyone.......thank you for this challenge.....i will try to make a vid also

  • You are so encouraging and motivational. I love all of your videos, though I can't comment on each one when they are up.

All of that said and to those participating in this challenge: I know you can make it through this, so c'mon! I wanna see you DO. THIS :)

  • I'll Join! my goal is to exercise at least 15 minutes, this is my goal because it will help me get fit for basketball season! (im in highschool) nd i plan 2 do this by askin my mom if i can walk home after school (10 min walk)

  • Yay. i forgot to make a video :( i'll do one now... i'm so happy you are doing this shanti.

  • i wanna get rid of my extreme anger ! im a mad person :p

  • 1. To lose the last few pounds of weight

    2. To get to my super happy goal weight and increase my personal fitness level.

    3. Continue on with exercise five times a week, using tae bo and bootcamp DVDs. My diet is mainly salads, lean chicken and tuna. I'm aiming to to work up to two workouts 2-3 times a week.

I'm just going to track via weighing in with my scales. I also have a similar system of stars that i put in my diary for every day that I complete my exercise goals for the day.

  • i'm so in! i meant to comment last time... oops!

    off to facebook i go!

  • Dont eat after 9pm

because it will help me control my food intake

by eating early on in the afternoon

    wieght chart, it's big

  • @Pugdogqt i recommand not to eat after 7h 30 , it's better !!!

  • @freakloulou I could try, might lose alot of wieght doing that, since I am a night person and i eat two meals in the evening instead of one, but it's worth a try

  • @Pugdogqt see my comment below <3

  • @freakloulou it really depends on when you go to bed. The hour is not so important - it's mostly important that you don't eat 2+ hours before bed :P

  • @antishay I knew that our body works regualarry at some times of the day...say, at 3 a.m. he's doing something specific!!!I mean it doesn't all depend on the hour you go to bed...

  • @antishay nope, u shouldn't eat 4+ hours before bed , 2 hours aren't enough for the digestive system . i stop eating around 7 to 7h30 , and i go to bed about 12 and i feel great , u should get used to it . not to mention that this free time of eating gives you the chance to drink a lot of water , i drink from 1 bottle to 2 in these 5 hours ;)

  • @antishay that's true... I get out of work at 12:00 a.m. and don't go to sleep till like 3:00.. That would be insane not eating for 8 hrs!!!

  • @antishay yah that sounds about right, I go to bed at 11 or 12, so stopping my eating at nine should be good

  • Eat Breakfast within 30 mins of waking up - I need to get my metabolism back on track, as I used to skip bfast & lunch and eat a huge dinner. Helloo, belly fat!

Drink 8 glasses of water - self explanatory.

  • i want to join!!!!

    -more water

    -not eat after 6

that seems easy enough, and i wanted to join yesterday, but was busy, so, here i am!!
