i have license for about 2 years now, i talk on the cell some times, never crashed, and never even get close to crash the car because i was on the cell.... people that crash because is talking on the cell, its just retarded..

whats th diference of talking on the cellphone, or have a conversation with someone on the car with u ? its the same thing....

because you are holding a cell phone. which means you have less control on the car. unless you have a bluetooth.

it's not only that... the point is being distracted as well... as a driver you have to be focused and watch where you're going because there are drivers out there that will "help" you get into an accident

That is not true. Even with a hands free device you are still distracted. I can't remember the name of the study but it was on NPR a month or so ago. Its conclusion was that hands free or not, your mind is still thinking of something else.

the engine isn't on. there are no fluids inside. to prevent explosion.

and engines don't "explode." Fuel doesn't explode, it ignites. So even if the engine was on and all the fluids running, the worst case senario would be that it catches on fire.

that's not a true comment. Honda Fit specification says that the frontal and back bumper area is composed of 5 stars steel merged with unibody manufacturing process. So that's why Honda fit achieve 5/5 crash test rating in some of the country's vehicle testing

Fit's rating is 5/5 stars. Front's have to be crumpled in order to save passengers. Passenger cage is still in good shape.

It would be hard to tell without the numbers, but it appears that this car performed very well in the frontal offset collision.
