tunes don't quite match up, enjoyable anyways. the tinny effect on the electric for the solo portion (and a few others) was piercing in a bad way. timed a bit better and with a better setting/effect this would sound quite nice all around. ibanez guitars have very bland sounding pickups out of the box/off the rack and a dimarzio swap isn't a bad idea, but a modeling amp (digital) will take care of that entirely. anything from line 6 spider series will do the trick nicely

I like your effort to bring an original rendition of this fabulous ballad. Using the Celtic harp as you do is unconventional, and very pleasant.

You could improve your duet by looking at each other. In the video, you look like 2 people playing on 2 different planets! Sorry for the result. But go on, you are on the good way!

It's hard to stay serious when we play together, that's why we had to take a long time to record this video (I think the "making of" would be longer than the video ^^)

@rockimmer this song does not require a great technical skill... what i've felt is it requires a lot of emotions, to play with the flow of the melodies and the music rather than just copying it note by note. Metallica themselves play a few notes here and there deliberately because it suits their natural flow, and thats how music should be.
