@sakar181 Department of Education and what i was tryna show u was if you really think govt mandates and regulations help the quality of education it doesnt. In areas where these Fed rules werent being met those schools lost funding. In the areas where scholastic achievements where high these regulations and mandates were placed stifling the ability of the teacher to provide their own method of learning or putting limits on what was allowed to be tought thus lowering the quality as usual.
Does anyone know what will Ron Paul replace social security with? Also, he wants to get rid of hud, what will he replace that with? My concern is I have friends depending on both as their income and living expenses. Hud is assisting in rental and social security is helping for their medical, groceries and utility bills. Are my friends just going to lose those benefits? They are disabled and can't work.
@Mumineen99 The programs do not disappear overnight. People who are reliant on them will continue to receive benes. As they get old and die off, or become financially solvent on their own, the system will slowly dissolve.
@kuroyama1 Then what about my friends who depend on those aid programs? Do they just go homeless? Please tell me that Dr Paul has a plan for these disabled who can't work. If he replaces those entitle program with nothing, then those disabled will lose their home and income.
@Mumineen99 The idea is not add new dependents to these programs and make sure to fullfill the promises made to those who have become dependent. Also, to stop creating new programs that create even more entitlements.

@Mumineen99 As he has said the plan is, to stop the over seas adventures and by cutting departments, much of the duplicated overhead is removed. Some programs, those that do something for the poor and dependent, would be put into other departments.
@mersk100 Oh ok so HUD and SSI that current beneficiaries depending on will get moved to another department, they will not get abolished completely (The benefits), Just government elements of it will be getting rid of right? A friend's SSI and rental assistance from HUD will just be coming from some another source, just won't be from the federal government is what you trying to say. @Mumineen99 He isn't getting rid of it :P he's giving folks the chance to opt out. If you decide to stay with the system, you keep the benefits but continue to pay the heavy rates. If you opt out, you'll be able to keep all your hard earned wages... (well just pay a small fee once a year, but a lot less compared to current tax rates) the catch, you don't get benefits like SS and other things. It's great for the small businesses that usually end up dying from paying too much tax.

If under President Paul whoever opts out will lose their entitle benefits from SSI and HUD programs such as rental assistance, but whoever stays with the system continue to pay the heave rates (what are they do you know)? Straw polls are not like other polling. Straw polls require ticket purchases (Ohio's was $25). Campaigns will generally GIVE tickets to supporters.
Ron Paul supporters are more like diehard groupies than your average candidate supporters, so of course Ron Paul's numbers will be FAR GREATER than how he otherwise polls in state and national polls, because of HIS turn-out. So the 53% is meaningless.

In areas where these Fed rules werent being met those schools lost funding. In the areas where scholastic achievements where high these regulations and mandates were placed stifling the ability of the teacher to provide their own method of learning or putting limits on what was allowed to be tought thus lowering the quality as usual.

Does anyone know what will Ron Paul replace social security with? Also, he wants to get rid of hud, what will he replace that with? My concern is I have friends depending on both as their income and living expenses. Hud is assisting in rental and social security is helping for their medical, groceries and utility bills. Are my friends just going to lose those benefits? They are disabled and can't work.

@Mumineen99 As he has said the plan is, to stop the over seas adventures and by cutting departments, much of the duplicated overhead is removed. Some programs, those that do something for the poor and dependent, would be put into other departments.

@Mumineen99 He isn't getting rid of it :P he's giving folks the chance to opt out. If you decide to stay with the system, you keep the benefits but continue to pay the heavy rates. If you opt out, you'll be able to keep all your hard earned wages... (well just pay a small fee once a year, but a lot less compared to current tax rates) the catch, you don't get benefits like SS and other things. It's great for the small businesses that usually end up dying from paying too much tax.

Straw polls are not like other polling. Straw polls require ticket purchases (Ohio's was $25). Campaigns will generally GIVE tickets to supporters.
Ron Paul supporters are more like diehard groupies than your average candidate supporters, so of course Ron Paul's numbers will be FAR GREATER than how he otherwise polls in state and national polls, because of HIS turn-out. So the 53% is meaningless.
Does anyone out there seriously think that 53% of Ohio republicans support Ron Paul?

That means that he would have had enough votes to win if he was on the ballot. That means that he still could have won if people would have written him in. It's always insignificant and "meaningless" when Ron Paul wins. But when manipulative Wall Street puppets win straw poll's it is shoved in your face for days on end. I'm tired of the media telling us who to vote for. Fuck CNN. Fuck FOX. Fuck MSNBC and FUCK RUPERT MURDOCH.

I live in Ohio, and I wear a Ron Paul 2012 T-Shirt I ordered from info wars in my college. I got smiles from it lol. I had a guy say to me when i was walking down the hall that me wearing this shirt made his day. So it just goes to show that Freedom is popular. Especially in a beautiful state like Ohio.

@falloutpwnage I wore a Musical Box t-shirt not too long ago, it was a cover band for Genesis approved by Peter Gabriel himself. As I was ordering sushi, three people commented on how that shirt made their day. Goes to show you that a 1970's prog band is more popular than Ron Paul is at a fecking college in Ohio.
