  • no trail becausethere is a conspiracy behind it

  • USA, the world mafia

  • Comment removed

  • he was an ex cia operative they had to kill him the stuff in the trial would have been crazy

  • what a coward the realnews guy turns out to be. He says, 911 saudi and pakistan, but won't say Israel or Britain or Cheney or the rogue zionist pentagon. YOU COWARD., This vid wasn't based on reality. You just went along with the lying zion. Goooooood Journalism. Wow, you're ready for msnbc dude. seriously you are.

  • @sssssjjjj1 I see that you're a fan of the legendary literary work of art known as "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion"... impressive. I've yet to even see a copy in reality... much like the reality that the rest of the world exists in. You know, the world where the Jews don't actually own and run everything? Did you know that bin Laden was a fan of that book as well? If you have an arguement or complaint, try forming a sentence of coherent logic, or you come off as a nut.

  • bin ladens been dead since 2001 dec. she knows this. Shes another lying piece of crap zionist.

  • At around 2:50-Paul said something I thought from the jump. IF you have the power to capture someone like Osama unarmed, why wouldn't you take him alive and try him? I swear, most people in the U.S. must be brain-dead not to ask this question. I know I'm not. It's the first thought that came into my head.

  • @SandCmpbll The thing is, most people in the US ARE brain-dead. Do some research on: HAARP ! there are some people that are immune to the effects of HAARP. They are all left-handed people. HAARP effects the left hemisphere of the brain. Left-handed people use the right hemisphere of their brain more than the left side (do some research on that, it IS true). Almost everyone in the USA is under Mind-control from HAARP and television programing (why do you think they call it PROGRAMING?). GO fig.

  • To Obama and other rich and powerful people, intl. law means nothing. The ONLY time you publically support it is if it can be spun to your advantage.

  • If Israeli commandos broke into Noam Chomsky's house, killed him and dumped his body out at sea, would anybody care? Would they be prosecuted? Would anyone see the irony of him being literally exiled and censored in his own country for telling the truth? But then when he's murdered it's "news"?

How much coverage did Howard Zinn get when he passed? Maybe 30 seconds.

  • If the Powers that Be think it'll advance their power, then to them yes it is.

Now, answer this. Have we ever assassinated another Western country's leader? No. Usually it's a rich, corrupt non white dictator of a poor country that realistically would never be able to attack us.

But that doesn't matter. The "logic" today is screw it. Get the other guy before he gets you. The U.K. is the only country the States doesn't spy on. Everybody else is fair game.

  • @superphi, Lying is not a war crime.

  • I am amazed this clown or anyone refers to killing bin Laden as being murdered. Fact is bin Laden could have had that whole house rigged with explosives to be blown up. There could have had a couple of Pakistani tanks ready to move in to protect him. He did have a small window of time to surrender, something the 9/11 victims didn't have.

  • Everyone at Real News should be killed for being assholes

  • @imN0Ttheone Your ignorance and sociopathy is showing.

  • @SandCmpbll Sociopathy maybe ignorance never .

  • "And now introducing Phyllis Bennis, she looks like that one creative writing teacher that always said good things about you"

  • George Bush & U.S.A & CIA is Roman Emperor Julius Constantine. Ruthless & monster man. George Bush said We will do Crusade to Muslims.

Real Terrorist is right under your nose people just look.

  • Whats the point of a lengthy discussion based around a redundant supposition?

Assassination is obviously not justice but its pointless to even discuss his supposed death because he is not even wanted for 9/11,what had changed US foreign policy so dramatically.

Hey "real" news, why not ask a REAL QUESTION?!

Why did Dick Cheney say Bin Laden had nothing to do with 9/11 and PRAVDA parrots the common mis perception when KSM is in jail,as the mastermind of 9/11

Are you guys able to do your job?!

  • its an obviousfalse flag, hell osama was never officially accused of 911, but that got drown out in the insanity that followed.

All things considered it makes me wonder why he was never brought to trial.

  • @RedGrobo Never officially accused? He confessed to it.

  • @slantythecamel

    Show me where?

And not the vid that looks nothing like him that aired shortly after 911, you ASSUME he was officially charged, when you should go google the official documents and read the wording, OBL never went beyond "Suspect." despite what you may wish was true.

  • @RedGrobo You are joking? In 2004 he appeared on video and officially claimed responsibility for the attacks and threatened new ones. I know you probably enjoy defending mass murderers and apologizing for them, but at least educate yourself with real world facts before making silly statements in their defense.

Facts have nothing to do with wishes. You either accept them or you live in denial. If your position is impervious to facts and reason, then you don't belong in the conversation.

  • There isn't much value in weighing how many people were killed? Why not .. we are continuously told that 6 million jews were killed by the nazis. Any other number would land you an Anti-semite tag. Certainly if 911 produced three deaths, the reaction wouldn't have been the same. Sorry Phyllis; numbers have value; lots of it and millions of innocent lives have been shattered due to the lies and crimes of the American government in the post 911 years.

  • Empires don't ask, they take. Empires act with impunity until they fall. And the American empire will fall.

  • @blackiron60 every empire will. humanity will. so those statements don't mean much. the questions "when?" and "how?" on the other hand... those are more troubling. but also more important in my opinion.

  • He's dead, that's all I need to know. I don't care how they killed him or why they killed me.

  • Spreading Democracy By The Kilo-Ton. That’s a sarcastic summary of the U.S.A.s Imperial Agenda. As all Imperial Conquering nations try to sell their robbing of a nations resources and enslaving of their people as Nation Building.

  • Thank you Paul Jay & TRNN. Excellent segment.

We know that empire amerika has killed millions of innocent men, women and children. We know that this government in the past via the CIA and today via drones or the patsy NATO, openly targets leaders for assignation. They fear for the other side of the story. Lame stream media pushes the official government story for the sheep.

We know the government version of 9/11. And we know that those in government are habitual liars.

  • He is not dead!!!

  • @sker03

You're right, all this stuff in the news is based on a single report of Osama bin Laden being "dead tired." The media misread that and just ran with it and basically made up all this other unsubstantiated stuff along the way.

  • Hmmm. Would I rather have seen bin Laden get sentenced to life in a cozy cell and taken care of for the rest of his days only to be busted out of prison by jihadists, or fear for his life as he looked into the barrel of a gun before the SEAL pulled the trigger? Death by gunshot to the face seems like the better justice to me.

  • she answers her own statement about an international criminal court right at the end... the US government (and most others, if not all) fight against accountability as much as they can. and as US presidents always state - the government only does things that are in its interest. supporting an international criminal court and treaties aren't.

the only way to get justice in most places is by an uprising of the population. but in the US, most people are obviously just fine with the way things are.

  • DnGuerena is a real intellectual. Must be all the lady gaga he watches that gave him such incite.

  • would US assassinat osama in france? or sweden?

  • yes they should have tried to capture him alive..... but they were not wrong in keeping the pakistani authorities out of the loop... the jordanians were asking the questions out of religious solidarity... why does Phyllis Bennis share the same questions..

  • Thank god someone is challenging the failure to put this man on trial. If Germany and japan's war criminals could stand trial so could Osama. The US had a lot to gain (hide) by killing him.

Terrorism had a lot to loose from the sight of Osama dressed as a common criminal facing court.

  • Bin Laden was mass murdering head of a stateless criminal organization who deserved to wind up slung over the saddle.

  • The USA use to be the good guys, they r definitely not the good guys anymore

  • @superphi There are no good guys. There are villains and then there are anti-heroes. The US is an anti-hero.

  • Again the real news on economics = terrible.

That said, I am SO glad they actually cover stories like this. Asking the basic reasonable questions that everyone else should be asking. Since when is assassination ok? Since when is it ok to go into false war kill more innocent people than the person you were actually going after and get off the hook scott free?

  • OBL has been dead for years. The fear mongering lives on though.

  • @bugsz1 "OBL has been dead for years. The fear mongering lives on though."

Agreed. One month prior to Benazir Bhutto's (R.I.P.) assassination, she stated that Bin Laden had been murdered by Omar Sheikh. And, what's interesting is that BBC censored that part of the interview. Furthermore, Pervez Musharraf has described Omar Sheikh as an MI6 agent in his book, "In the Line of Fire". So, probably state-owned British television BBC probably does not want its viewers to know this. Spread the words!

  • @MowjeSabzV I saw that report on Al Jazeera. I agree but I wonder who will be the next boogie man.

  • @captcrais101 Good that you're aware. It's hard for an outsider to know who the next boogie man will be. But what's clear to me is that our news consumption is changing. I think more and more people are losing trust in their governments. We are seeing same lies being repeated over and over again. We just have to keep our eyes open and not believe in everything our governments tell us.

  • I want to move to ????? Where in the hell can I go NOT affected by the global terrorist. Maybe some tribal community in Central South America.

  • Nearly total liver failure and this guy survives 10 years????? Give me a break!!!!

  • Churchill didn't want Nuremberg either: "Take them all out & shoot them." In light of Obama and OBL, it's ironic that Obama returned Winne's bust to the Brits when he entered office. Justice? No. Revenge? Yes. This thread of American presidents goes back at least as far as Nixon. Americans must demand the return of the rule of law across the board and to that end, I believe, they should consider Ron Paul and his ilk for election in 2012. Paul will eliminate the banksters who run the whole show.

  • Am I glad he's dead? Yes. Was he brought to justice? No. I am a left leaning and agree with almost everything Chomsky says- but I stop at calling killing this mastermind behind mass murder an "assassination". Does it solve anything? Not much. Killing one leader isn't going to stop Al Queda or its supporters. Now they have a martyr. Pakistan is now saying wee were there illegally- bullshit!

  • that's human history. Nation founds itself on admirable principles of justice and equality, rises, reaches at apogee then turns to tyranny and goes down. some other nation replaces it.

  • Bin Laden was "ALLEGEDLY" murdered!

  • if the powerful one do not become unjust then how the world will lead to the arrival of Antichrist ?

  • @TheRealNews, I don't know if you guys read these responses at all, but your guest in the end said the cliche "Lock him away and have him rot", and before that she said something along the lines of grabbing him and presenting him to the world as if he is some kind of trophy. It sounded to me that what she said was much more vengeful than shooting him and burring him at sea. When I hear people talk about capturing him alive and "Presenting" him, it sounds to me like what the Romans did.

  • @TheRealNews, Murder!? You guys nuts? Murder is of someone who is an Innocent person. He (Osama) was offered to chance to surrender, he turned it down. And yes if he would of surrender he would of said it in Arabic and those Seals are trained to speak at least some Arabic. I know this because I was a former Marine Truck driver and they taught me some Arabic and I'm not a Commando. I understand the corruption of our government, I understand things are messed up, but that does not pardon Osama

  • @DeadMarine1980 So r u saying if someone kill George W Bush it's not murder since most pple believe he is guilty of war crimes?

  • @superphi If you declare war on an enemy, then the killing of those combatants belonging to the enemy is not murder. Of course this assumes that the war is just and each side would obviously claim that the other side is unjust.

    Regardless, Osama was a combatant.

  • Instead of watching TV, wasting our time on the Internet, and worrying about driving a nicer car than our neighbors, we should be exercising, growing our own food, arming ourselves, and reaching out to one another. It's not impossible to depose a corrupt government, but there needs to be a better system ready to replace it.

  • @phubans You're right. And whatever replaces it won't be based upon the corporatist model. It will probably be based around local communities.

But at least people are waking up to the crimes of corporate socialism.

  • There is no such thing as Liberal or Conservative; they are both puppets held up by the same puppeteer.

  • She hits the nail on the head @ 06.00. There is no accountability for the US, either against other countries or on its own citizens. Until people are brought to justice for 9/11 there will be no improvement in the states.

  • The Bush Obama Gang needs to be jailed for these murders... At least need to get the codes away from these nuts.

  • The big problem is that he was dead.... the real USAma died before 911... I'm sure the murdered someone... They always murder someone.

  • He was a CRIMINAL...get that through your weak minds,

he was responsible for killing people...he had the money to hire lawyers and the best legal defense in the world , instead he hid in a cave or a sh..t hole filthy compound and planned more killings involving bombs and shoes .. he needed killin..end of story.

  • @dangermous1968 you don't know that. The FBI stated they didn't have enough proof on him. That's why 9-11 wasn't amongs the charges against him on their website. Thats why a tribunal was needed.

Its not because the white house says something, that its true.

You Americans have become so brainwashed by your TV and your media, you've lost all concept of justice, peace and liberty.

  • @The911watch you have 911 on the brain ...stop it!!! I SAID ..he was A CRIMINAL ..and I left out KILLER....

so sthu with tv and media and whatnot because u are unable to read a simple comment without misinterpreting it and u expect me to take u serious about something as serious as 911?.

  • @dangermous1968 you seriously expect me to believe most people don't have 9-11 on their brain when talking about Ben Laden? What the hell are you talking about ?

So what you are saying is that Justice and international law shouldn't be respected? That makes you guys the criminals, for killing a suspect without trial.

  • @The911watch arrest us..LoL

  • @dangermous1968 thanks for aknowledging your criminal behaviour.

  • @The911watch wow u managed to post a comment without mentioning 911.LMAO

  • @dangermous1968 you do know the vid is about Ossama Ben Laden, right? If you don't want to talk about 9-11, this might be wrong place to post your comments (especially if your going to brag about US war crimes)

  • @The911watch "You Americans have become so brainwashed by your TV and your media, you've lost all concept of justice, peace and liberty." Because every fucking drama on TV is a badly scripted cop show. The cops are all portrayed constantly as people in hard situations that can;t be held accountable for their crimes in the name of 'freedom'. I don't know how great shows addressing legitimate issues keep getting canceled while this plague of dipshittery continues. Not to even mention, "COPS".

  • I realy don't know what to do of all this insanity. Is it a display of power? a matter of local politics? pure bs?

  • the time is almost here we are about to see big wars and then the devil will come to being peace saying he is Jesus doing things whith his power to convince the world he is god

  • "We might ask ourselves how we would be reacting if Iraqi commandos landed at George W. Bush’s compound, assassinated him, and dumped his body in the Atlantic."

    -Noam Chomsky.

  • @RedGaribaldi party infront of the white house?

  • @RedGaribaldi americans hardly ever look at it that way..but they should..Bush and his crew are war criminals and should be arrested and turned over to Hague Court...

  • @RedGaribaldi I'd be happy, that guy got away with so much shit.

  • @RedGaribaldi Let's stop wringing our hands over this guy. His death is important symbolically in terms of the morale of Al Qaeda. Pakistan was harboring this guy so to hell with them.

  • @RedGaribaldi Absolutely. US hypocrasy of the highest degree.

  • @RedGaribaldi ummm well they do that all the time anyways when innocent civilians die or are kidnapped and beheaded by their thugs. if a predator drone kills an innocent family of 5 americans dont blare music and dance in the streets. fact is bush is no where near osama. and im so sick of ppl quoting noam chomsky hes a douche bag and im a liberal. i was so happy, proud and excited when i heard bin laden died. i laughed my ass off 2

  • @RedGaribaldi why in the atlantic? and not in the Pacific?

  • TRN has become insufferable. Don't even know why I am subbed anymore.

  • @RedGaribaldi Another ridiculous comment by the Mr. Chomsky that gets gobbled up and treated like scripture by the "ludicrously too left" left.

  • @slantythecamel And yet, people like you keep getting hoodwinked by conservatives and now the reemergence of neoliberalism. If you understood anything except for your bombastic comments, you'd realize Chomsky is right. But, you'd have to be quick on the up-take to critically analyze complext matters. "Ludicrously too left" is dead brain matter dribble.

  • @SandCmpbll Yes that is what it is. You are so right, sir, you cannot possibly be wrong. Kudos. Chomsky is infallible, I just can't realize it. Too complex for me, I suppose. Best I go work on my education so that I can recognize who is right in any argument--regardless of substance--and avoid all the unnecessary time-wasting of critical thought.

Seriously, if Chomsky's statement isn't "dribble", nothing is.

  • @RedGaribaldi Hey, To tell you the truth? On THAT question: about GW Bush being assassinated. I`d be sad. Only because I am a firm believer that the man should be arrested for treason first, then hanged in public. It would also be nice if it was a double hanging, he should hang right next to his father.

  • Great interview.

  • Very interesting. Love this channel.

  • The fact that there is so few terrorism in USA with all the killing and the tortures made by this nation all over the world is an absolute proof that this world loves the US.

  • hah, "judicial accountability"? with the USA duopoly there isn't even political accountability. lobbyists bet on both horses so they always win. tragicomedy of a democracy. as long as the slave labor is properly fed and housed the charade continues.

  • PT 3: Your government doesn't give a damn for you or they would stop spending $ on all this crime they call war and look after your needs. As they should. Remember All the wonderful things OB promised you to get elected and gave to the elites instead. Don't get distracted by his false words again. We all know ending the war spending is the answer. Use your hard earned $ for you.

  • What nato, which US belongs to, is doing in the world effects us all at some level. Day after day we have to hear of the abuses against humanity, Murder, lies, kids killed. photo's of people ripped apart. Not a day goes by that my heart does not ache. A day free from shame. All people live this because of a very few that cause all the trouble in the world. It's way past time to wake up and see the truth of what really is going on. This is not about keeping us safe. You must see that?

  • PT 1: It is about the numbers for heaven sake. the people of the Middle East are murdered human beings, That shot of the US government criminals watching the raid is perhaps the most vulgar, obscene and revolting thing I've seen in a long time. They are watching a damn murder. They also have no desent sense of shame on any thing they have done. That includes murding children.

  • Justice was spit upon when the US assassinated Bin Laden. The very fabric of this nation's fundamental ideals on justice stand diametrically opposed to such an act. Bin Laden wasn't charged for his alleged connections to 911. The FBI, when asked why Bin Laden's crimes on his most wanted didn't include 911, stated there is no evidence linking him to that event. So if it was 911 he was killed over for justice, the US really fumbled the ball. The criminals are in DC!

  • Is it me or does the interviewer always give his own version of "Blusteel" haha

  • 5:29 Hahaha look at the super villain with the hat on the right. X)

  • Good interview. When you're the biggest fish in the sea, who do you need to listen to? Certainly Bush and Cheney will never have to answer for their actions in Iraq.

  • I am a liberal guy and even I don't oppose a program of targeted assassinations. I don't oppose the kill/ capture program at all. I don't oppose drone strikes and night time raids. It is much cheaper than sending 200,000 troops into a nation. I believe it is also much more effective. The enemy has no answer for U.S. drones. They are helpless to defeat the drones and it is really taking a toll on the enemy leadership. The enemy is severely weakened if they are constantly losing their leaders.

  • TRULY GREAT SECTION!

I wish more people would watch TRNN.

  • supposedly there is no real evidence against osama, not withstanding his possible opportunistic claiming of 911...so, why not capture him for trial??? would u put someone on trial w no incriminating evidence? or kill him as if he really did....

  • I am puzzled at why this woman felt like she had to take an opposing view to the statement by paul that Bush and Cheney killed far more people. She apologizes for it and then goes on to collaborate his point.

  • @fight2Bfree oops.. corroborate not collaborate duh..

  • what a crude perception of justice from that lady

  • @ptolemy008 Please elaborate your statement.

I'm curious as to what exactly you mean.

  • @ptolemy008 its much more nuanced they anything u'll hear in the media, there this killing is not even rear contention...i understand there's a lot of emotional satisfaction behind the death of osama, and my god i hope the victims do find closure if they needed it, but this brazen display of violating international law doesnt jibe well with our higher principles and only portends to the same reckless foreign policy that's made the past decade one of the shittiest...

  • It was never meant to be anything else. They only did it to bolster Obama's polls in the run up to 2012. They're scared to death nutters in the Tea Party might make further gains.

  • And, btw, is there any doubt Osama bin Laden had armed bodyguards? C'mon...

  • @luisfcdarcadia um, yes, the question shoyld really be posed as "is there any doubt he DIDNT have bodyguards," save for his emotionally lunging wife

  • @luisfcdarcadia Osama bin Laden had hundreds of body guards with him, maybe even thousands that is why there was a fierce 40 minute fire fight. :P

  • @cheddyrod You seriously believe the most wanted man in world, a millionaire, leader of an Islamic Jihad, who has not been away from wars since the Afghan war in the 80's would just raise his arms and surrender?

  • @luisfcdarcadia Of course he didn't try to surrender. As reported there was a fierce forty minute firefight between the Navy Seals and thousands of Osama bin Laden's thousands of heavily armed guards. Now if bin Laden only had a few hundred body guards the Navy Seals could have over powered them in less than five minutes. :P

  • One of the best!

  • IMAGINE what we could have learned......

Too much imagination for my taste.

Like the imagination of freedom and liberty.

    Or for that case, Democracy.

    Peas.

  • I don't think anyone tried to hide it was an assassination mission...

  • dissention is the greatest form of patriotism

  • @slhines7 bless you for that comment..i'm with you~!

  • @planthi80 You are most definitely welcome and glad to hear.

  • @slhines7 and resenting patriotism a great proof of intelligence

  • @notthere83 Yes, proof of intelligence that there is a great movement that is attacking Patriosim rampantly is very apparent.

  • Another great report, TRNN!

  • Don't believe the lies! Usama has been dead since 2001. Where is the so called proof that makes you believe this b/s?

  • @slhines7 Piss off. Come back when you can argue seriously.

  • @ScottishAtheist Well, I cannot state that is a good way to start a so called debate "argue"! "dissention is the greatest form of patriotism" Assume stupidity not malice!

  • @slhines7 Even al Qaeda confirmed Osama bin Laden's death. Or are they in on it too? Then again, looking at your favorite videos, you're also a birther so I guess you would believe that too.

Of course I'd like the pictures and the DNA samples (if that's legal) to be released for independent analysis but all this seems a bit too elaborate to be a hoax.

  • @lornloxor All that I am stating is that I cannot definitively state that what our crooked and corrupt govt states as fact is fact. This would include the whole "birther" and "truther" subject, for there has not been any proof shown other than words. Even if they did so call kill the man who has most likely been dead since 2001, why didn't they arrest him vs murdering him? "dissention is the greatest form of patriotism"

  • @slhines7 Well I definitely agree with you there, they should've arrested him if possible. If the nazi war criminals could be put on trial, so could Osama. These kinds of operations set a terrible precedent even if they are carried against targets like Osama which can easily be sold for the public. It essentially says that people can be assassinated just on the president's word that the targets are terrorists, all without any judicial review or checks.

  • @lornloxor Now you are talking and I am glad to know that you and I can agree on some things. I am entirely with you and I think that we can now say that we understand one another. There are just too many things that stank and are outright unjust , if not even criminally illegal. Sadly, I don't think that the so called "truth" will ever be known due to the massive amounts of deceipt and misinformation via the corporate controlled media.

  • Thank you for your awesome news program. Really eye-opening. Keep up the good work.
