Well now hes an integral member of the Italian squad for all you that don't follow the team closely. So enough of the 'ruining his career by not getting playing time' comments. He's emerged as Italys best striker and coach Prandelli loves him.
why is everyone so angry at Rossi for playing for Italy. yes i get it he's born in New Jersey. but his parents are from Italy so he did have a choice in the matter. obviously its been a dream of his to play for Italy and honestly its probably better for his career if he does
@cielospree313 wrong, it would have been better for his career to play for america and actually get on the field and get experience in international play...he didnt even get picked for italys wc squad...
Hey Rossi, you thought you were too good for USNMT but now you see Italia thinks they are too good for you.Even though they cut you, they left the injured Camoranesi on the 23 man roster for their WC team. Watch your homeland (USA) battle for WC glory from your couch and dwell on how you could be a legendary American striker instead of a bench warmer at best for team Italia.
They will cut you in 4 years again because you are NOT a true member of their 'tribe'. Stop fighting karma, kid!

@TheUSAfootballer - yeah you really don't know anything. i played with him in the US. He was head and shoulders above everyone and he started playing in Europe when he was young. He never thought he was too good for the US. He wanted to play for his parents home country you dumb fuck. Don;t make assumptions you prick. You know nothing about him. Italy will always be better than the US in soccer. Get over it
Rosssi can enjoy playing wii on his couch again like he also did while watching USA in confederation finals. He'll never really be considered a real part of their 'tribe'.
@CrociatoAzzurro Tribe is not so strictly defined , it can be used loosely-- it doesn't only refer to tribes like the Native Americans...
Plus that's a dumb thing to get angry about
The inferior American thing is really unnecessary, bordering on racism. And also, McDonalds is all over Italy too.
I don't think this whole argument is worth getting angry about -- look, wouldn't all Italians be pissed if Perrotta (who was born in England) chose to play for England? Even Rossi isn't pressed about it

Oh really ? Do Onyewu & Donovan belong to the same "tribe" ? Does the Haitian Voodoo King Josy Altidore belong to the same "tribe" as Clint Dempsey ?
Go away, inferior American. Stick to NFL & McDonalds.
