What makes people so sure these are Taliban, and not "Northern Alliance" or some other Muhajideen group that was wiped out by the Russians? Speaking of Russian tanks in Afghanistan, you should watch the new movie "The Beast", maybe it will give you some thought on pre-Taliban Afghanistan, and why that country is still reeling with the effects of what happened back then.
