  • very interesting video thanks

  • some great inforamtion here thanks

  • Thanks for the infromative video. It is helpful for my research on gluthione and betalains

  • so... this just ended up being a commercial.

  • Antioxidants are the biggest marketing scam in history.

Yes too many free radicals can be bad, and yes antioxidants will inhibit them... HOWEVER after millions of years of evolution our bodies do the same thing. And our bodies converts free radicals into neurotransmitters like nitric oxide. Antioxidants in small amounts are fine, but too many antioxidants have been shown to increase mortality rates in all scientific studies done.

  • @JWC2490

Really? Biggest scam in history is it? Not a single scam is bigger? In ALL scientific studies? Are you sure? What about the scientific study of the frequency of asteroids classified as near earth objects? Or maybe you're just sensationalizing things worse than journalists and marketers because you want to sound smart. There is a problem with everything you mentioned in your comment, which is enough to discredit yourself and anything you say about science and biology.

  • @psychosavant I clearly said "biggest MARKETING scam in history" You changed the scope of my argument by omitting that word, I didn't say anything about other scams. While my post might be a slight exaggeration, antioxidant vitamins and health drinks are a billion dollar industry and there are no scientific studies that have ever shown benefits of antioxidant therapies on health. If you want to refute that claim show me one peer reviewed scientific study that shows benefits.

  • Colloidal Gold, Iridium and Ruthenim are true antioxidants, Japanese Scientist fount out that at the core of all antioxidants, there is gold, Iridium, ruthenium, Rhodium, Platinum and Palladium.

  • @precicia lmao....collodial gold? oh geez.... Whatever works for you. Thats hippie garbage.

  • Really helpful info. Thanks so much, incredibly insightful and effortless to fully grasp.

  • This video´s last assertion is false! orac value of ANY freeze dried acai is the same as Mona Vie´s freeze dried process. This is a commercial propaganda video cleverly couched in an informative video. Mona Vie is overpriced antioxidants, and i know because my brother is a Phd in biochemistry and i spoke with him at length about acai and mona vie. buy acai dont buy mona vie.

  • This is really deceptive and NOT based in real science.

  • the animation is horribly inaccurate. what looks like an atom is called a cell and a molecule... :|

  • I take Green Tea over Acai berry anyday....Green Tea for life!

  • thanks for the useful infoyou money hungry selfish greedy jackasS! I will now take the useful parts of this video to keep myself healthy..NO, i will not purchase your product. What you concluded was your acai berry retains higher ORAC value than normal acai berry, BUT, acai berry itself is really high. So I will just buy acai from some other brand, thats cheaper and take more of it. HAHAHAHA you suck!

    DONT BUY THEIR PRODUCT!

  • I hate these type of adverts.. First try to scare you with selective data sharing then gives you the solution which is to buy their products.

  • facebook id: kurt neoh mun wai

contact me for more maqui berry information.

    cheers

  • you guys should take a look at the latest 'maqui berry'.

maqui berry gives you 3 times what acai berry gets to offer!!!

  • I'd like to know how this compares to green tea.

  • @eckca

dark chocolate is the best and cheapest anti oxidant

  • @gledalac1979 Garlic & blueberries are good too.

  • @gledalac1979 AGREED!! chocolate is indeed the best and cheapest antioxidant. It is a complete food source and has over 20,000 different antioxidants. It is even an antidepressant. It's good as long as you either eat the raw cacao powder or the cacao nibs, not the processed "chocolate". I'd rather eat whole goji, mulberry, or goldenberries than acai, only because it's impossible to find acai in whole fruit form. It's always in a processed powdered/juice form.

  • Just drink Green Tea!

  • I heard runners create free radicles from running so much. I thought running was a good thing.

  • i like this video so much.. it help me to understand more about those terms..

    thanks 4 the video
