The technology that allows this is BRILLIANT but I'd rather see something like Totoro singing a soulful ballad or even some transitional costume changes, I mean they are animated photons - how hard would it be to put them in another outfit once in a while? It's interesting and has a LOT of potential but I don't think they have even scratched the surface yet on what they COULD do. With animation the only limitation is the technology and your imagination, let's see more...

@macweenie I'm guessing part of why you mostly see her box cover outfit in the concert is because they'd already made the high poly version for the opening cinematic of Project Diva; any others would have to be extrapolated from the low poly game version, and manually tweaked to keep the mesh smooth from doing weird things. They did manage to get SOME done, and it's fun that she changes in a puff of smoke, but the amount of time it takes to animate, model, and render these things can get insane.
