  • I always love how the media, ND fans, etc. act as though ND is still an elite program. Here's just a plain and simple fact: ND hasn't been a bona fide national title contender since 1993. Since that time, they've been a DECENT team more often than not, but rarely much above that. And especially in today's landscape of parity in college football, it's doubtful at best that ND will ever dominate the game the way they once did.

  • 4:15 guy on the sideline jumping up and down. kid in hand hahahahah

  • SPARTAN PRIDE!

  • good for your wimpy win ND, which you only won by 3 LOL! we would have tied the ball game anyway and win the game in OT. but what was the final score last year for MSU and ND rivalry game? oh ya 23-7. The reason why msu won by that much is because of the defensive was all around Jimmy Clausen sackin him. Oh and Tate's jump on the msu band is definitely not sportsmanship. You ND need to show some class

  • haha all the talent u guys get never turn out haha. nd fans r better then michigan fans but yr just a fuckface. so. whatever,

  • Enjoy this old ass win MSU. This will be the last team you beat ND for a very very long time. Our talent gap is finally closing and we got our home turf back. ND will be back at full ND talent after this season while you guys still have street thugs lined up on your roster with no athletic ability. Chris Martin, Ethan Johnson, Teo, Barr are going to be ripping your team to shreds for the next 4 years. Riddick, Crist, Floyd, Evans will be happy to blow you away.

  • LOL! Your talent gap is finally closing?! Notre Dame has always had better overall talent on their roster than Michigan State, and yet your pathetic coaches rarely get the job done.

Better hope Jimmy comes back next year. You don't want to have to replace your whole OL and your QB and expect to win many games, especially with that sloth still on your sidelines calling the shots.

  • @GeneralSather Just like Tate and Clausen were supposed to?

  • @GeneralSather ... Would you like mustard with your words? Wins for Umich and MSU against ND. Loser.

  • Shut up, little brother. You still have rich rodriguez coaching you team. I would say the joke is on you.

  • A few of the games between these two teams have been close, but this game really was just an ass wooping given to Notre Dame.

  • msudave54 i agree but this is a nice video go state!

  • **YAWN** Another victory over the irish. MSU's domination is starting to get old.

  • Domination? haha. Central Michigan

  • toledo

  • dont even give me that shit. that was last year central was this year. Sorry MSU, its your turn.

  • hahaqhahahahhahahhahahahhahahah EAT SHIT MWOLVERING sparty kicked your guys' ass. you were lucky to get it to ot.

  • @MWolverine9 rmember how u of m lost 2 toledo and app st & central waz lyke 11-2 so how the hell iz it a sooooo bad 2 lose 2 cmu, they kinda remind me of a not-az-good boise state.

  • haha. 26-20 BITCH!!

  • For the record TS, a good Catholic would NOT like Notre Dame Football. Bunch of greedy hyper elitists who refuse to join the Big Ten. I hope they lose every game.

  • charlie weis is obese

  • 1:46 that was a bad pass

  • Time to jump of the bandwagon fuck stick

  • i have always loved the Steelers and Penguins asshole my family is from Pittsburgh and im a good Catholic so i love Notre Dame

  • We missed some chances too. Good luck to you the rest of the way!

  • say what u want, but when the clock hit 00:00 and the spartans had more points than you, that equals a W for MSU and beating you!

  • Notre Dame and Michigan fans have a lot in common. You never lose games, you just run out of time.

Michigan State beat you and controlled the game because they were the better team. Deal with it.

  • The next time Michigan State has a bigger game on their schedule than Notre Dame let me know. Because judging by the way MSU plays against ND, it's their biggest game of the year annually.

We didn't run out of time, and the poster you replied to didn't say that either. We played like crap, and much of that had to do with MSU and its crowd. Weis didn't have his team ready to go with a good gameplan, and it cost us.

  • Please. What an arrogant statement. ND is a big game for MSU, but nowhere near the importance of the Michigan game. And up until last year MSU hadn't been able to beat UofM for quite some time, so that argument is weak.

Maybe Notre Dame should start treating MSU as one of their big games, or better yet, get a head coach who knows what he is doing.

  • What's arrogant is you trying to claim Michigan is the big one. MSU almost always plays their best game of the year against Notre Dame. That is hardly the case in the Michigan game, MSU usually doesn't play their best against them. When was the last time MSU came out flat against ND? I can't remember, because it hasn't happened for quite some time. Based on that, it can be determined that ND is one of MSU's top games year in, year out. ND needs to be aware of that, because it has cost us.

  • There is nothing arrogant about my comment. You asked what was a bigger game, and UofM is a bigger game than ND is, it's just a fact. Ask any MSU player, coach or fan. ND is a big game, but Michigan is THE game on the schedule.

And have you stopped to think about the possibility that maybe MSU has been beating ND a lot because ND hasn't really been very good in 15+ years? MSU has not been very good either, but it isn't such a big stretch to think that MSU has been the better team on occasion.

  • Maybe ND hasn't been what they've been in the past, but stop to consider the fact that ND has at least split their series with UM over this period. MSU had lost how many in a row to UM until '08? UM hasn't been what they're used to recently either, with the exception of '06. You didn't really address my points. What someone (anyone at MSU) says and what they do are two different things. Up until Dantonio, MSU would tank after the annual ND game, win or lose. Don't kid yourself.

  • Ok, MSU vs Notre Dame may be the better game to watch with it's exciting comebacks, but MSU vs scUM is still the bigger game

  • @mab1014 - Dude, I don't think UM ran out of time on 09-01-07, they got their a*s kicked by a little team from Boone, NC called Appalachian State University Mountaineers!

  • hell no. if anyone won that game it was the crowd. the fans kicked Clausens ass.

  • lets go spartans. were not the same old team anymore. were gonna do somethin this year

  • honestly, if michigan state had a decent, consistent qb, they would be winning alot more. Hoyer just looks like he has no confidence/composure. Im looking forward to a change of scenery at qb next year.

  • They've got enough talent at receiver to go around, Cunningham, KeShawn Martin, Blair White, Mark Dell, and Fred Smith (Hopefully). Hell maybe we should run the spread! (Just a joke, don't kill me). Hopefully Keith Nicol can live up to his hype.

  • ringer is slow, but has good vision

  • he got like a 4.3 or 4.2 in the 40 yard dash

  • yeah

    my ass

  • Yeah before he blew out his knees 2 times a peice. It's really remarkable that he can even still play football, and even more astonishing that he does it at this high of a level.

  • It's called smooth. Ask the michigan boys how slow he is.

  • looks like we got a strong team this yr!!

    go green!!!

  • Watch at 5:37 that hole was HUGE! very nice blocking up front. Ringer the man for heisman

  • JAVON RINGER IS MY BOY!!!!!! #1 RUNNING BACK IN THE NCAA also with him knowshon moreno
