Granted, he was a state senator, but that's not experience running anything, and while he was a U.S. senator, he spent most of his time campaigning for the presidency. And Al Franken is quite the same way, but rather than being a centrist like Arnold, he's fairly left wing.

There are plenty of examples when 'experience' is absolutely meaningless. Let's start with Palin. She has some exp, sure, but there's only one prob: she's a moron. I can write a 5,000+ page book filled with Palinisms. She thinks Africa is a country and not a continent, for fuck's sake. I knew the difference when I was 5. The same with W and 90% of the GOP.
I would rather have an intelligent person with enough experience run the country over an over-experienced idiot any day.
