I do not have a personal opinion on the actual existence of aliens; but on a theoretical level, while it may be true that aliens have deactivated some nuclear bombs, yet it does not prove it was an altruistic action. Maybe the aliens have an agenda. For example, maybe 1) they want us to think they are benevolent. And/or 2) the aliens do not want us to destroy the planet with nuclear meltdown. Take into consideration that life under Roman rule was horrendous and those were basically the laws of the land. I would say it is impossible we are alone. But, intelligent life may be rare. I do not have a personal opinion on the actual existence of aliens; but on a theoretical level, while it may be true that aliens have deactivated some nuclear bombs, yet it does not prove it was an altruistic action. Maybe the aliens have an agenda. For example, maybe 1) they want us to think they are benevolent. And/or 2) the aliens do not want us to destroy the planet with nuclear meltdown. Maybe they have other plans for this planet, plans that possibly are not in our best interests.

Take into consideration that life under Roman rule was horrendous and those were basically the laws of the land. if you think about it if an alien came here and took some soil or rocks from say the desert or antartica were there are no signs of life did some analysis on that rock sure they would find bacteria in them same as we find this worm but if we look elsewere we would find life forms who are inteligent because we wind something wormlike it doesnt mean that thats all thats out there : )

I would say it is impossible we are alone. But, intelligent life may be rare. I've always found it interesting that dinosaurs existed for hundreds of millions of years but no species achieved even a rudimentary technological society. Still, if there is only one advanced species in each galaxy, that would mean there are 50 billion to 100 billion advanced civilizations out there.
