The worst floods were in 1972, when cars started to float down Elizabeth St in Melbourne, ALL trains to or from Flinders St came to a complete stop. Google it & see a Pic of it, you'll wonder why know one drowned in the city. There always will be very dry spells & flash flooding. As for Earthquakes & tsunamis look up Krakatoa, etch. it's always good to try & educate yourself & learn the real facts on past weather conditions. This sort of weather will always occur, PS, Good video.
You might what to look up the 1934 Melbourne floods since your saying should educate themself, made the 1972 floods like like a walk in the park. The Yarra River was up 18 meters and since Elizabeth St IS a natural water course had enough water to be at the roof tops of cars. The 1934 floods also affected most of metro melbourne where the likes of hawthorn had chest high water.
@mackpee thats the yellow peril (the vault) sculpture. Thats the giveaway. Southbank,, near Sturt St. Last time I was in Melborne( my first 27 years) it was in a different location. (Batman Park) I remember when it was first in the city square, which was in itself a disaster.
It's unusual when you have never had that, but when it is a regular event it isn't unusual anymore.
But that was terrible.

Gloabal Warming
I think there s often a
fallacy being spouted,,what scientists mean by
that can not really be summed up by a freak
heatwave or two or three, they talk about
statistical trends not freak occurences
