@MetroidODST some of the storylines are silly and have the Dinobots on Cybertron, though this raises more questions and bothers me because on Cybertron they were called the Dynabots and all transformed into raging super-tanks.

@Gigas0101 Shockwave captured some of the Dynabots (eg: Grimlock), tortured them, took away some of their intelligence replacing it with brute strength, attempted to override their Autobot programing with Decpticon programing (failed obviously), replaced their vehicle forms with that of dinosaurs after scanning a pre-historic Earth and therefore he created the Autobots known as the Dinobots.

It dosen't make sense now with the story. Grimlock came after the fall of cybertron and also if you watch Transformers G1 season 1, then you'll know that the autobot made the dinobot on earth.

@094Anthony This is not of the same continuity. wfc and foc go along with the Prime tv series. In this version they were just normal robots who were captured and tested upon by Shockwave, who at the time was studying Earth, which at the time of the game was in the age of the dinosaurs.

lets see here: if this is part of Transformers War Within (comic serie) it logic that we will see the Dinobots, but if it fallows G1 this is then what you can call a Time Paradox or somthing...

still when the makers made War For Cybertron they stated that they would mix most of the Storys into 1 game, so we might see more then just Grimlock.

maybe even the Predicons, atleast i hopp we will see Starscream try yet agien to become leader of the Decepticons... ya and fail agien :P

I'm still holding out for non-DLC Rodimus (Or Hot Rod), Springer and Ultra Magnus for new Autobots to be introduced. I mean, it seems Fall of Cybertron is gonna take the characters we played as in War for Cybertron with the DLC (As far as Shockwave, a DLC character goes) and add the new characters...Does that mean the Cons get the Predacons?!

I think they're trying to stick with real history timeline, and this supposedly takes place when it was the time of dinosaurs on Earth. If anything, I would think you could argue for Dinobots and Insecticons (since there technically were giant insects back then), but only time and more game announcements will tell!! :D

@bdpickett Ah thanks to remind me of the point that most Decepticons where just animalistic in character even Megatron, Starscream in a sense. Devastator was just a giant animal (seeing its transformation). So Predacons would be in the end just slaughtermeat. While Autobots have a more "real" character and personality and sometimes say something intelligent at least. Although I'm getting a bit tired of O.P. its morals. But yeah Combiner Battles would be pretty awesome. Bruticus vs Superion.
