It's our job to take what these Pastors are saying & match it up with the Word of God..I dont care what anybody says, if its not in the Word of God then Im not doing it. One big bug which i hear alot is comments about the "word of faith". This may be american perspective but not a biblical one. This statement did not orginate in america nor is confined to america. If I could compare life and death to something, to make an analogy for the "Word Faith, Prosperity Gospel" people, I would compare it to a diving board and swimming pool.
Our lives are like us standing on a diving board, and death is us diving off of the diving board into the swimming pool. Our diving boards (lives) come in all sorts of different varieties. However, our swimming pool (death) only comes in two forms full (heaven) or empty (hell).
I don't agree with the name dropping that he does in this song. Remove the beam out of your own eye before you remove the dust out of someone else's. These type of this is what builds disunity among the body of believers. Lets run the race for Christ and not pay attention who is on the other side of us. We are called to bless and not curse your enemies, this song is doing nothing more than cursing.

I am by no means saying that I agree completely with all the different individuals that are mentioned in the video. When it comes to false teachers and false prophets I don't believe most church people have a good understand of what that is. More than 90% of all churches has some dumb false teachings they believe in. False teachers and prophets are under Satans agenda vs Gods
@Belongs2Christ Some clear false teachers are Mormons, Jehovahs witnesses, Scientologist, Ocult, have people that are clearly working against the Kingdom of God without question. False prophets prophesy for their own benefit rather than to encourage, edify, and comfort individuals. I am not ashamed of the Gospel because it is the power of God unto salvation.
The most common false teachings that I find exist in most of american churches deal with the gifts of the spirit. 1 Cor 12-14
Probably the worst false teaching in the American church is that God is in control of everything that happens in the world. God is Sovereign (look sovereign up in a dictionary) but not in control of all that happens. God however is in charge of everything that happens and He has delegated to us to be in control of what happens in the world. God told Adam and Eve be fruitful and multiply and subdue the land. Jesus told us to make disciples of all nations.

If God is in control of all that happens in this world it would mean that the holocaust, abortion, murder, theft, destruction and etc. are all of His will. @dariusz7114 Directing & controlling are two different things entirely. God directs our steps & we have the choice to follow his direction. Take for an example with an orchestra, there is a director, & instrumentalists. The director can direct one thing and the instrumentalists can go against his direction by choice or even by accident. God is in charge not in control. Look up the word sovereignty in a dictionary & no where does it even say control. If God is in control murder is his will.

Jesus' original command to the disciples in regards to evangelism is found in Matt 10. We as disciples of Christ should do like wise.

Hey the trinity is not biblical so why is it necessary to believe that to not go to hell. G-d is one and his manifestations that we know of now is: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. But there is so much that we don't know about G-d and so much he has not revealed about him self yet.

I've moved all over the place, so i know, and churches everywhere are getting corrupted with pride, greed, and the selfish desire to just be seen on stage. I've done the research and I know quite extensively what Bell and Warren do (and do not) teach. Neither promotes universalism (or UR) or other 'false teachings'. Because of their popularity (and the inevitible jealousy/envy that accompanies it), they are targets of Online "Discernment" Ministries (ODM's) - the Christian tinfoil-hat crowd - who distort and slander them quite frequently.
No, Bell and Warren are simply compromisers. Warren may believe orthodox things but those things never make it into his sermons, his interviews, his books. It's all about here and now, this world...and rarely about eternity, which is what really matters.
Actually, both's sermons are quite "orthodox" by any reasonable definition that takes into account denominational differences. (I'm assuming you don't actually subscribe to their podcasts)
As for anyone being a "write-off", I'd just note than an entire class of people were called "write-offs" by the religious elites in Jesus' day, yet they were the ones Jesus associated with the most...

I'm a Calvinist but would agree that Hyper-Calvinism "those who reject man's responsibility" is heresy. I'd stop short of calling the KJV only crowd heretical, just confused and wrong... Obviously any teaching that doesn't recognize homosexuality as sin is heresy... Universalism is a HUGE problem, as you can see I've included "The Shack" in this video mainly for that reason. Universalism has become very popular and has infiltrated main stream Churches and denominations.
I agree that the "famous" preachers aren't the only ones who are false... After recognizing my false conversion I e-mailed the pastor that baptized me with my testimony... Never e-mailed me back... Total purpose-driven, social gospel, morality preaching, liberal pastor... And he's not the exception these days, he's the norm...

I have had much experience with the KJV Only people over the years that I have been an openair evangelist and I know many of them are heretical. James White has had his run-ins with them and it sometimes gets downright nasty on the part of the KJVers (White has always been a gentleman).
Most classis "Calvinist" are not using that term in the 1 Cor. 1:12-14 sense. Caivinism is just a way of identifying ourselves as those who believe that God is totally sovereign in all things including the issue of slalvation. No one is saved without the sovereign intervention of God in their lives. And, it is God and God only who decides by His own determintive will and sovereign choice who he will instill mercy and grace upon. Oh, James White is unapologetially a professing Calvinist.
I'm not dumb, I know White is a Calvinist. His arguments against Mormonism, Islam, Roman Catholicism, etc. are great but there is no way he can justify Calvinism.

However, I know and have ministered with some who deny the Septuagint, who say that the Holy "Ghost" is God but the Holy "Spirit" is Satan, who are adamant that no one can be saved if you preach or witness from the NIV, who say that serial monogamy is of God (because Peter Ruckman and Gail Riplinger are each on their 3rd marriage), and who say that every other Bible version is of Satan. And it gets even crazier than that.

Prosperity theology is an abomination and desecrates the genuine Gospel! But it was the reformers like Luther, Calvin, Knox, and others who God used to uncover and unleash the Gospel which was hidden by Roman Catholicism for centuries. The cherished doctrines "by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, to the glory of God alone" are solidly Biblical!!

I had bought books by Osteen and Warren. I had watched all these cats on TV... Please understand that as Christians we are commanded to judge Righteously (John 7)...
The commandment "Judge not" (Mat 7:1) refers to hypocrisy and later in the context Jesus actually says, "first take the log out of your eye THEN YOU WILL SEE CLEARLY TO TAKE THE LOG OUT OF YOUR BROTHERS."
Jesus is not telling us to never judge only to tell us to do just that in John 7, Matthew 18, 1 Corinthians 6, Galations 1, and 2 Timothy... Also later in Matthew 7, the very same chapter as "Judge Not," Jesus warns us of "false prophets who COME TO YOU IN SHEEPS CLOTHING but inside are ravenous wolves!" Then he says, "you will know them by their fruit."

But my heart was wicked, I loved the very things that God hated, and I only prayed to God to get my wish list... I would have cried out "but didn't I get baptized in your name, didn't I say a sinner's prayer, didn't I go to Church?" Only to have Jesus tell me to "Depart!!!" Please reread (Matthew 7:13-27)
BTW, I was a false convert because I had never truly repented and trusted Christ... my trust was in what I had done (answering alter calls, getting emotional, being baptized, saying the sinner's prayer). All my trust was in these man-made hoops for salvation and not on the finished work of Christ... I hadn't been born again (John 3:3)... I wasn't a new creature (2 Cor 5:17) and I was walking in darkness while claiming fellowship (1 John 1:6)
If they don't preach salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus alone... They preach another gospel... (Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 4:12, John 14;6)
If they don't preach repentance and faith as evidence of salvation... They preach another gospel... (Mark 1:15, Luke 13:5, 1 Peter 3:9)
If they preach that Jesus died for all and everyone is saved whether they believe or not... They preach a different gospel... (John 3:16-18)

Where in the Bible does it say that Paul wasn't broke? In fact, doesn't 2 Corinthians 6:10 indicate the exact opposite, that Paul was poor and had nothing?
Further, in 1 Corinthians 4:11 Paul says that he was "poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless," while in Romans 15:26 Paul says that "Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints at Jerusalem," thus indicated that some believers at the time were poor.

Diving boards & swimming pools
If I could compare life and death to something, to make an analogy for the "Word Faith, Prosperity Gospel" people, I would compare it to a diving board and swimming pool.
Our lives are like us standing on a diving board, and death is us diving off of the diving board into the swimming pool. Our diving boards (lives) come in all sorts of different varieties. However, our swimming pool (death) only comes in two forms full (heaven) or empty (hell).

I don't agree with the name dropping that he does in this song. Remove the beam out of your own eye before you remove the dust out of someone else's. These type of this is what builds disunity among the body of believers. Lets run the race for Christ and not pay attention who is on the other side of us. We are called to bless and not curse your enemies, this song is doing nothing more than cursing.

I am by no means saying that I agree completely with all the different individuals that are mentioned in the video. When it comes to false teachers and false prophets I don't believe most church people have a good understand of what that is. @Belongs2Christ Some clear false teachers are Mormons, Jehovahs witnesses, Scientologist, Ocult, have people that are clearly working against the Kingdom of God without question. False prophets prophesy for their own benefit rather than to encourage, edify, and comfort individuals. I am not ashamed of the Gospel because it is the power of God unto salvation.
The most common false teachings that I find exist in most of american churches deal with the gifts of the spirit. 1 Cor 12-14

Probably the worst false teaching in the American church is that God is in control of everything that happens in the world. God is Sovereign (look sovereign up in a dictionary) but not in control of all that happens. God however is in charge of everything that happens and He has delegated to us to be in control of what happens in the world. God told Adam and Eve be fruitful and multiply and subdue the land. Jesus told us to make disciples of all nations.

If God is in control of all that happens in this world it would mean that the holocaust, abortion, murder, theft, destruction and etc. are all of His will. @dariusz7114 Directing & controlling are two different things entirely. God directs our steps & we have the choice to follow his direction. Take for an example with an orchestra, there is a director, & instrumentalists. The director can direct one thing and the instrumentalists can go against his direction by choice or even by accident. God is in charge not in control. Look up the word sovereignty in a dictionary & no where does it even say control. If God is in control murder is his will.

We need to step in our roles as Christians and do all that God has told us to do. The Gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout all the land then the end will come. Matt 24:14 We are the ones who are to proclaim, and even demonstrate the kingdom on earth since we are already seated in Heavenly places. Eph 2:6 . Jesus' original command to the disciples in regards to evangelism is found in Matt 10. We as disciples of Christ should do like wise.

@rcardona2001 Read Paul. He curses people. That's where the rapper got the verse, "Let them be Anathema, accursed." That's straight from Paul, which was inspired by God. We are to call out false prophets. Plus, they aren't part of the body of Christ anyway. They are lost and people need to be warned of them. That is scriptural. Plus, twist not Scriptures lest we be like satan. Yes, we are to remove beams from our eyes before we remove specks from others. That isn't a speck.

Hey the trinity is not biblical so why is it necessary to believe that to not go to hell. G-d is one and his manifestations that we know of now is: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. But there is so much that we don't know about G-d and so much he has not revealed about him self yet.

its so true, and it's not just happening in the megachurches, it's happening in churches all over the world. I've moved all over the place, so i know, and churches everywhere are getting corrupted with pride, greed, and the selfish desire to just be seen on stage. Leaders in church are doing things as crazy as dungeons and dragons and stuff, and we need to wake up to this! We ignore it, and try to worship God ourselves, but we need to love our brothers, and pray God will work us to open eyes!!

I've done the research and I know quite extensively what Bell and Warren do (and do not) teach. Neither promotes universalism (or UR) or other 'false teachings'. Because of their popularity (and the inevitible jealousy/envy that accompanies it), they are targets of Online "Discernment" Ministries (ODM's) - the Christian tinfoil-hat crowd - who distort and slander them quite frequently.

No, Bell and Warren are simply compromisers. Warren may believe orthodox things but those things never make it into his sermons, his interviews, his books. It's all about here and now, this world...and rarely about eternity, which is what really matters.
As for Bell, he's a write-off...

I love the assumptions here. Yes, I have Bell's podcast in my iTunes, since folks are so quick to say I haven't listened to him.
I love those who society doesn't - I live in government housing in inner-city London and regularly minister to drug addicts, school dropouts and kids from single-parent families.
Bell is not such a one - he's a preacher with a pulpit, claiming to speak in the name of Jesus, yet his message and that of Jesus seem incongruent.

I'm a Calvinist but would agree that Hyper-Calvinism "those who reject man's responsibility" is heresy. I'd stop short of calling the KJV only crowd heretical, just confused and wrong... Obviously any teaching that doesn't recognize homosexuality as sin is heresy... Universalism is a HUGE problem, as you can see I've included "The Shack" in this video mainly for that reason. Universalism has become very popular and has infiltrated main stream Churches and denominations.

Total purpose-driven, social gospel, morality preaching, liberal pastor... And he's not the exception these days, he's the norm...

In light of 1Cor.1:12-13 & 3:4 one should not be stating "I'm a Calvinist", or "I'm a Lutheran", or "I'm a Wesleyan", etc.
I have had much experience with the KJV Only people over the years that I have been an openair evangelist and I know many of them are heretical. James White has had his run-ins with them and it sometimes gets downright nasty on the part of the KJVers (White has always been a gentleman).

Most classis "Calvinist" are not using that term in the 1 Cor. 1:12-14 sense. Caivinism is just a way of identifying ourselves as those who believe that God is totally sovereign in all things including the issue of slalvation. No one is saved without the sovereign intervention of God in their lives. And, it is God and God only who decides by His own determintive will and sovereign choice who he will instill mercy and grace upon. Oh, James White is unapologetially a professing Calvinist.

However, I know and have ministered with some who deny the Septuagint, who say that the Holy "Ghost" is God but the Holy "Spirit" is Satan, who are adamant that no one can be saved if you preach or witness from the NIV, who say that serial monogamy is of God (because Peter Ruckman and Gail Riplinger are each on their 3rd marriage), and who say that every other Bible version is of Satan. And it gets even crazier than that.

@JimDeferio I'm also reformed (hold to the five points of Calvinism), and I'd be careful, if I was you, of who you call heretics. Prosperity theology is an abomination and desecrates the genuine Gospel! But it was the reformers like Luther, Calvin, Knox, and others who God used to uncover and unleash the Gospel which was hidden by Roman Catholicism for centuries. The cherished doctrines "by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, to the glory of God alone" are solidly Biblical!!

Jesus is not telling us to never judge only to tell us to do just that in John 7, Matthew 18, 1 Corinthians 6, Galations 1, and 2 Timothy... Also later in Matthew 7, the very same chapter as "Judge Not," Jesus warns us of "false prophets who COME TO YOU IN SHEEPS CLOTHING but inside are ravenous wolves!" Then he says, "you will know them by their fruit."

I use to be a false convert that tolerated any teaching as long as it called itself Christian... But my heart was wicked, I loved the very things that God hated, and I only prayed to God to get my wish list... I would have cried out "but didn't I get baptized in your name, didn't I say a sinner's prayer, didn't I go to Church?" Only to have Jesus tell me to "Depart!!!" Please reread (Matthew 7:13-27)

BTW, I was a false convert because I had never truly repented and trusted Christ... my trust was in what I had done (answering alter calls, getting emotional, being baptized, saying the sinner's prayer). All my trust was in these man-made hoops for salvation and not on the finished work of Christ... I hadn't been born again (John 3:3)... I wasn't a new creature (2 Cor 5:17) and I was walking in darkness while claiming fellowship (1 John 1:6)

If they don't preach salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus alone... They preach another gospel... (Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 4:12, John 14;6)
If they don't preach repentance and faith as evidence of salvation... They preach another gospel... (Mark 1:15, Luke 13:5, 1 Peter 3:9)
If they preach that Jesus died for all and everyone is saved whether they believe or not... They preach a different gospel... (John 3:16-18)
If they preach another gospel then... (Gal 1:8-10)

Where in the Bible does it say that Paul wasn't broke? In fact, doesn't 2 Corinthians 6:10 indicate the exact opposite, that Paul was poor and had nothing?

Further, in 1 Corinthians 4:11 Paul says that he was "poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless," while in Romans 15:26 Paul says that "Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints at Jerusalem," thus indicated that some believers at the time were poor.
