I have to admit that when I saw this live at the Ottawa Jazz Festival, when Tal started singing, I nearly fainted just because I was so not expecting that to happen. I've been a fan of hers right since I layed eyes upon her in the pages of Bass Player magazine in 2006, but I always thought she was just an instrumentalist (her album is all instrumental). Well this has only made her an even bigger source of inspiration to me than she already has been -if that's possible!!
