  • barrel rolls with helicopters are freakin awesome D:

  • "I could get you sick, but i don't wanna do that"

  • So goddamn impressive, what a pilot! What helicopter is that by the way

  • Cool to see the blades flex

  • @TheFr3sh1 I could barely see them move at all. How does he do a back-flip? Move the stick to the right and it will flip over to the back?

  • @0MoTheG In the loop if you look closely, you may notice as the nose is full up in the vertical - the tips of the blades are inline with the hub (the middle). As the loop progress and the nose is down, you may notice the tips are above the hub. To do the back flip, he pulls the stick back (aft cyclic).

  • @0MoTheG Blade pitch is called collective - it changes all of the blades at the same time. The cyclic works by changing blade pitch as well. The blades constantly change pitch during rotation to make the rotor "disc(what you see when they spin fast" tilt. Aft cyclic gives the effect I think you are talking about, where there is more lift on the front of the disc.

    I don't understand your second paraghraph(3 axis, pitch-swing-rotation).

I think they spin faster actually

  • @TheFr3sh1 "your second paraghraph(3 axis, pitch-swing-rotation)"

There are various instable flight modes. One being a {nose up, roll and turn right, nose down, roll left, repeat } swinging that one gets into when giving hard input in a hover. You give forward cyclic and add collective, the nose goes down, but then the body swings forward and you get into the above movement.

  • @0MoTheG Wait so you do know something about helicopters? I am really confused.

Still have no idea what you talking about though. Is it an assumption that that would happen or fact

  • @0MoTheG Interesting, never heard of anything like that. Looks like the Boom and rotor is the same as a normal heli, to me. Wouldn't that limit the maneuverability of the helicopter significantly to change the CG for clearance?

I doubt it maybe you know something I don't though? (facts)

  • Nice job benefit, Marcus! I'd pay to get that assignment.

  • just watching the blades on top perfectly go through the gaps in the blades on the back scares me

  • @disturbedeleven they do?

  • @0MoTheG Thats not how it works they are close though lol

  • @disturbedeleven Thats not how it works they are close though lol

  • we good? we good.
